I think one of the reasons I’m iffy on Saiouma is because Kokichi as a person is actually rather childish and I think he really needs someone who indulges him in that. Not only that but I think he needs someone who bites back, who’s willing to challenge him and bicker and give as a good as he does.

I think from my perspective Shuichi is just a little too… grounded. He’s so serious and literal, he has a hard time playing along. Like in Kaito’s free time events when Kaito’s telling this long, obviously exaggerated tall tale Shuichi spends most of that time wondering why he’s being told the story rather than just enjoying it. It’s not that I think this is even a bad trait—hell I’m like this. It’s just that I think it doesn’t really mix well with Kokichi.

Like Saiouma does have that “chase me down and unspool me” aspect to it that does hit rlly nice, and I do think Kokichi wants to be understood. The problem I guess is I think Kokichi would eventually get bored since Shuichi doesn’t press back and play along much and is more inclined to just try and pry him for answers. I also think Shuichi would eventually grow tired of Kokichi’s games and the way he dances around truth and Information, stringing people along like a carrot for a donkey. Shuichi would want answers and I don’t think Kokichi would be inclined to give them as quickly or as openly as Shuichi would want.

Kokichi wants a playful relationship, a challenge. Shuichi wants someone who can help balance him and steady him. Their priorities are just very different.

Danganronpa x Soul Eater AU

Hajime would dual wield Chiaki and Nagito, which I know is a bit boring but lemme cook. They'd be dual pistols that are wildly different from each other.

Chiaki's weapon form is a soft pink gun that when she shoots, it sounds very video game esque - there is also the ding most games have for headshots. She gets used the most but is still pretty pristine.

Nagito's weapon form is similar but he's a light green pistol with the paint peeling, he's very beat up. There is a 25% chance he doesn't shoot at all, a 15% he shoots an actual bullet and 60% chance he shoots normal "truth bullets".

Their resonance of the soul is Nagito's chance of shooting normally going up to 100% and Hajime aligns them to make a powerful blast called, "Gamer's Luck," if it hits true, it does damage and has a 50-50 chance of making the target yell a random secret before dying lol

Explanation for this:

Dangaronpa V3 is kinda meh to me so this is my au in which Rantaro and Kaede are the main protagonist and antagonist duo.

I also think the 3rd trial is a big waste of potential. They had such a cool idea in mind with the whole "Korekiyo confessed to one murder but not the other" but then in the end it's revealed he actually commited both and it's like.... ok??? You're telling me we could've had a trial with 2 murderers who didnt know about eachother's exsistance and that no matter what there would be a killed left among the survivors??? Anyways in this au I like to pitch the idea of Himiko secretly being the second killer who accidentally murdered Angie and although Korkiyo did kill Tenko his crime doesn't count as Himiko killed Angie before him.

There could've been fun loopholes I'm just saying 🙄🙄🙄

Also I think the dynamic between Rantaro and Kaede could've been fun to explore in a "Kaede wants to trust and believe her friends while Rantaro is aware they could betray them at any moment" kind of situation
