Also in hindsight Dana’s choice to not purposely trap Luz on the Isles from the get go and only do it later makes so much sense.

Because your giving Luz the freedom of choice. And your allowing her to have some heresay without as much other issues hanging over her from the beginning.

It lets her development the attachement more naturally. Because she made the choice. Not had the choice made for her
