hello ms ieva! could you be so kind as to recommend some products/skincare routines for removal of blackheads? most of the products i find are pricey, i'd really like to try a lil more budget friendly alternatives first :>
hey darlings! i’ve spoken about blackheads and enlarged pores before so some of the advice there may help, but a consistent routine of chemical exfoliation, particularly one including BHA, is my key piece of advice. you can also try weekly (not more often than that) clay masks if your skin is not prone to dehydration.
as for budget recs! here are some of my personal faves:
*the ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution — really gives that ‘wow’ instant-before-and-after, but i only recommend this if you’ve used acid exfoliants before and your skin is not very sensitive! it’s strong!
*the ordinary lactic acid 5% — good everyday serum to even out texture & exfoliate; also available as 10% for a stronger kick/more seasoned users
*the inkey list beta hydroxy acid — a good salicylic acid serum; BHA is oil-soluble which gives it the ability to break up the gunk inside your pores
*the ordinary salicylic masque 2% — another budget salicylic acid option!
the COSRX AHA 7 whitehead power liquid and BHA blackhead power liquid are on a slightly higher price point (20ish dollars) but i’ve used them for a while and really enjoyed them!
