underacknowledged fact about piper is that she's not just rich but unlike rachel she was attending wealthy private schools for most of her life. like she was probably wearing the whole typical uniform and surely receiving top tier education but was no doubt surrounded by a bunch of wasps kids at numerous pwis - and she had 0 friends growing up. she hated those private schools and rebelled on purpose and desperately wanted to go to a school for "normal" kids. she got kicked out these places over and over again but her dad kept finding new ones to dump her in, and she only got sent to the wilderness school because that was specifically part of the deal her dad's assistant brokered with the police, otherwise she would have just ended up at another one

so basically what I'm saying is that she knows how bad it can be when a neglectful father throws you into private school so she should hang with rachel and charmspeak her dad into getting her out of clarion academy as a treat 😌
