Ive come to realize "Tv in another room" asmr is the key to keeping myself focused, nothing gets me more locked in than psycologically tricking my brain into thinking im avoiding people.

i am sorry to inform any fundraiser dm cannot be answered because i quite literally have no money to spare whatsoever and im swamped with work, i can boost wht i can but not every one, i truly wish i could do more but my pesos arent worth much whatsoever either.

Theres such a huge emphasis placed on the "big break" in any creative feild that so many people dont realize it straight up doesnt exist, atleast not in the way it's ever presented. You could have an extensive resume and still be struggling, you can get into the "big leauges" one day and be on the street the next, thats the nature of creative industries. getting a job at a big studio isnt a golden ticket to sucess, its just a job, a very temporary and unstable job. Creatives, indie or industry, aren't in competition, they're coworkers.

When I heard your pilot was getting big I wasn't really interested but I could at least appreciate it considering how badly the indie scene is devolving into Hollywood 2.0.

Then I found your profile and that you worked at Disney and realized, "Oh, it's the SAME DAMN SITUATION AS EVERY OTHER """"INDIE"""" PILOT."

Once again proving people will only care about ANYTHING if you have clout and a resume and not actual good ideas or passion or effort and will only ever accept small-scale stuff if you're already in with the big leagues.

First, I think you fundamentally misunderstand what “indie” means haha

And also, just because an artist has a large following and credentials doesn’t mean they lack passion or put no effort into anything. If anything those credentials prove that said artist has the drive to make a career out of the thing they’re passionate about

yes I know my anxious thoughts are irrational that doesnt make them shut the fuck up tho, I need a comically sized mallet for that.
