It's a lie. That all your life flashes by. In your last minutes or seconds. You're just a bit surprised, and quite empty-headed. You actually have time to speculate. What should your last thoughts be about? You're almost paralyzed; your body rapidly shutting down. With some effort you spend your last few moves to get a picture of the sun. Beautifully letting rays through the treetops. Your last action is to post the picture on Instagram. Pressing the buttons drains your body, so now you only have your thoughts. And that beautiful image of the sun a late aftersoon. With or without your eyes closed. It's a nice view. And a nice place to die. You're quite satisfied with your luck. But what to think about... Ofcourse some family, friends, and partners through life. Then what? You don't know if you're surprised, or expected it. But what follows you and kinda keeps lingering, is those fictive figures. The ones you have played with the better part of your life. At this stage, they're more real than anything from your real life. It's no surprise, that what fills your fading brain, becomes pure fiction. Your last goodbyes goes to 'I', 'him', 'Laurie', 'Senhor Passo', and all the more or less important other figurines through the story. In the end, they're more alive than ever. And I can stop thinking; they don't really need my brain. That's a relief. And I smile towards the sun. Or they do. I shake hands and leave the party. #mantelmomento #danielmantel #udenfilter #laurieandthestoryof #primeiroproximopasso #fiction #prose #dying #reality #famouslastwords #sun #thatoneoffhashtagialwaysuseisinthiscaselefttomyfictivepersons (The usual one-off hashtag... That IS a possibility...
“Look at it, look at the mess we’ve made. Things have fallen apart, we have fallen apart. God, we used to love each other so much and now, all that rests between us is a mortal silence. A wall of silence so thick it cannot be broken with words nor looks. Nothing. And maybe, but only maybe, We just weren’t meant to be.”

100% JULEVRØVL & ÆVL & EVENTYRLØST! Men fuldt digitaliseret… Der var engang… Og denne gang er det lige ved at være for sent! Vi skynder os, til bjældeklang og salmesang, fra var til nu og frem.
Now we come to the central organs. Ha-ha; still not used to it? But this IS how we look inside. Please pre-vomit before lesson, young man. Otherwise consider change to some other line of studying. Like literature, where you safely can read about this. Without getting your fingers in it… And replace reality with something like 'soul'. And more fictive rubbish. Finished cleaning up yourself? Then let's continue. We clearly see the almost black structure that is bones, then in grey and greyish, tendons, intestines and other gutt-stuff. Whatever… The heart is seen as very bright, and is, as known even in literature, the muscle that keeps us alive. Though some fiction will tell you nonsense about the heart not only being a muscle! Ridiculous… Try stop that light, and the room goes all blank. A few seconds trying to remember, then *pling!*. Around that ticking bomb, literally, we see the rest of the organs in the upper torso: Different shapes and colours of fluffy stuff: Cotton! And THAT is where expressions like "being soft around the heart" comes from. Feel free to take some samples. They can be quite useful in many ways. I myself never buy any kind of cotton wool! You, young man, you can use some to remove those smelly stains, just dig in! Yes, grab a handful. #mantelmomento #danielmantel #udenfilter #laurieandthestoryof (Relaxing from...) #primeiroproximopasso (Just behind...) #anatomy #lecture #heart #fiction #real #cutup #justforonetimerelaxingandtakingadaywithouthttps://mantelsroman.wordpress.com (Usual one-off hashtag) (her: Deep Inside)
Affaldsfuglene kradser stadig mønstre i det hårde lag luft lige over jorden.

It’s easy to do nothing, but your heart breaks a little more every time you do.

Each and every time...
I sure hope so... 😊
It took Michaelangelo four years to paint the Sistine Chapel. It took Da Vinci four years to paint the Mona Lisa. Van Gogh created Starry Night only a year before he died. So be patient with your progress and take all the time you need, for you too are creating a masterpiece.

We're quite a lot... 😉
As a writer, in every story I write I feel like I’m leaving out something really, really important, but I can never figure out what it is.
And I don’t suppose I’ll ever be satisfied with anything I write until I can get that indescribable thing onto my paper.
And I know I’m not the only writer who thinks this way.
