Adora, shining a flashlight under the bed: Catra? Are you ready to come out and interact with people?
Catra: *hisses*
Adora: Alright. Maybe later.

You’re never going to win
Based on this text post.
here's a hot take - you should not have to feel guilty for things that you did in your kin canons, if you don't do things like that in this life. i'm not here to claim the past is redundant, but letting the guilt of such things weigh you down is nothing but counterproductive and straight up unhealthy. be good to yourself and make sure you're as good as you can now, don't linger in the past, and dont force others to do so either.

vs.
this actually isn’t a comparison of catra’s response to tazing adora vs. tazing entrapta. rather, it’s a comparison of catra’s reaction to her own violence against her friends in season 1 vs. season 3.
in season 1, she had a kneejerk violent response to a friend not doing what she wanted, and she continued to be angry until she realized that she had seriously hurt her friend (focusing her reaction on the tazer itself being the issue), after which she stepped back and became apologetic. in season 3, she had a kneejerk violent response to a friend not doing what she wanted, and she immediately became horrified at herself (focusing her reaction on her hands holding the tazer, implying that she herself was the issue), after which she doubled-down on the hurt in a panic and sentenced said friend to death.
essentially, catra has become far more willing to hurt anyone and everyone around her in pursuit of her goals, but she still doesn’t like that she’s doing it. her conscience is intact, but before, she listened to it, and now, she willfully ignores it. she needs entrapta to be out of her sight immediately, or else she’ll be forced to confront the horror of her own actions (i think this is also why she shoved scorpia’s face as she entered the room; she couldn’t bear to see scorpia’s love for her and be reminded that what she was doing was misguided), and if that means hurting entrapta even more, then so be it. anything to avoid the crushing guilt.

BONUS flustered Catra:
If Shadow Weaver gets redeemed, I will fucking flip. And Hordak deserves a redemption AFTER Catra.
I personally don’t care about Hordak getting redeemed or not, like at all. I also don’t care about Entrapdak. If that happens in a nice and powerful way, good for the story and the shippers.
But if you dare say Hordak deserves to be redeemed and not Catra, we are not gonna get along. I’m not even reading the arguments and counterpoints anymore. To each their villain I guess. Leave the Stans at peace.
Except for Shadow Weaver, I hope most of us agree that she doesn’t deserve any kind of redemption. Recognizing her mistakes and apologizing, sure, but no real redemption. God if it happens in the show… Poor Catra and Adora. But we’ll see, I’m sure it’s gonna be all very interesting.
