The tumblr art style is seriously one of the ugliest things ever. With the overuse of pastel colors, “progressive kawaii” crap, bad anatomy, scribbly shit, drooped eyes and red noses, it’s become a warning against bad art.

Not to mention when it gets added in with SJWy flavor…Suddenly we have random racebending, weight-gaining, hipster clothing and other things on characters that aren’t any of that in the canon (but apparently tumblr likes the same type of character over and over, based on how they add these things to every character that ever existed).

It wouldn’t bother me so much except for the fact that it’s everywhere, and it seems like every tumblr artist draws in the same style. It’s boring and lacks any individuality. It’s just ugly and pretentious.
