I love the fact that canonically, Bucky Barnes mail-ordered the first print edition of The Hobbit from abroad. (it wasn't published in the US until 1938, and the second edition wasnt printed until january of that year. the only way for him to read it in '37 was to snag one of the first 1500 british copies like the nerd he is)

I hate the fact that Bucky Barnes couldn't read Lord of the Rings (published 1954) because HYDRA :(
