ian is sitting on the other side of the couch from mickey and he kicks mickey's thigh, telling him 'come here' when mickey glares up from his phone.

'ian. why.'

'mick. just come here. please?'

and ian is pulling out the puppy dog eyes, so mickey sighs and shuffles over until he's leaning over ian. he cups ian's face in his hands and sighs.

'what.'

immediately ian's eyes turn mischievous and he grins sweetly.

'hi.'

before mickey can roll his eyes or turn away, ian leans up and presses an exaggerated kiss to mickey's lips.

'i love you. that's all. thanks mick.'

his smile widens as mickey flushes a cute, annoyed pink, and he lovingly taps mickey's ass as his grumpy husband returns to his side of the couch. he doesn't miss the mumbled 'love you too, dumbass', either. - 🐛

like you know this is a weekly occurrence. ian just grabs mickey to stare at him a bit, tell him he's loved, give him a lil kiss then let him go. it's just a thing he has to do. because mickey is his husband and he loves him more than anything 😭😭😭
