December 8, 2023 - Hundreds of people gathered in Guernica, Basque Country, to form a human flag in solidarity with the Palestinian people, as air raid sirens filled the air. The town of Guernica became symbol and a rallying cry against war crimes and the slaughter of civillians after German and Italian planes bombed the town for Franco's fascists in 1937, during the Spanish civil war, killing hundreds of innocent civillians. I really like this one. Another Alphonse Mucha one.
I’m thinking CLAMP probably looked at some of Mucha’s stuff when creating Clow Cards for Card Captor Sakura. But I could be wrong.

It's Only A Paper Moon - Chiemi Eri
Chiemi Eri, born January 11, 1937, died February 13, 1982) was a Japanese popular singer and actress.
Eri was born as Chiemi Kubo on January 11, 1937 in Tokyo, Japan. She started her singing career at the age of 14 with her version of "Tennessee Waltz." She sang American songs such as "Jambalaya" & "Come on-a My House". Eri started her career as an actress similar to Misora Hibari. Eri, Misora and Izumi Yukimura formed a trio. In her concerts, she was supported by Nobuo Hara's jazz band. - Wiki
(A personal note: This is my favorite song in the world and when she sings the lyrics in Japanese it becomes even more beautiful. An interesting lady, she was only sixteen when this was recorded!)
