I took a few weeks away from social media and the fandom and read some published books for a change. I had worried that fanfiction had ruined my ability to enjoy published fiction, but it turns out I’d just been reading the wrong books.

I also continued working on my fic, which I started in the spring of last year. It was originally meant to be a short, canon-compliant one-shot but has now grown into a multi-chapter muggle AU. I’m not sure if I'll ever finish it, so I won’t post anything until it’s done, which won’t be this year and likely not next year either.
