mentioning the nice person in the comments ! you’ll have to type that user’s name out completely, so maybe it’ll be a hassle with names that have random keyboard smashes or extra letters added to words... and not to mention the awkwardness (but you do get used to it after a while)

the reblog is good for doubly exposing your content to the world, even though it’s awkward... (but i definitely would not mind seeing more of your content on my feed <3)

messaging is also probably out of the question, since it may be seen as weird (but omfg i would freak out if you messaged me. i love your analyses btw-)

for the most part I really love tumblr tags and tumblr reblog tag culture but it haunts me that I never know how to respond when people say nice things in the tags of a rb of my posts. like, it feels weird to rb my own post and say thank feels weird to message people to say thank you feels weird to put it in the replies what is a guy to do !!! just hope my telepathic gratitude comes through ? if you have ever said anything nice in the tags of my posts I am buying you a baked good and your favorite drink no take backs
