Soo how my friend and I decided the dust x delta ship happened :

Please keep in mind we added some headcanons

So, Delta didn't like Color hanging out with Killer at ALL and let alone Color dating Killer, obviously he'd start giving Color shit about it

To the point where he and color got into a fight, and delta went off for a walk to calm down,

But hey who hates Killer, going off with color (in our AU) too? Because he /they constantly get in trouble with nightmare if they don't prevent killer from going to color? Dust and horrorrrrr

So, delta met dust there, who attacked him, of course. But after that, delta saw dust more and more since dust would have to shove killers ass back to nightmares place if killer is off being sunshine and rainbows with color

Now, Simple thing

Delta hates Killer

Dust hates Killer

Both 'hate' Killer

Both have something to shit talk about

And after some time both seemed to get along well

Considering the fact dust would NOT fucking care if Delta was yelling at him or having his anger issue moments

And both talk to "themselves" (jokingly) since delta yaps to bravery (which ik isnt a hallucination) and dust to his 'papyrus'

And dust noticed that also

And i guess just at some stupid point delta realized oh shit emo boy's hot and simply because we think delta cannot flirt for SHIT, dusts "idgaf" attitude would be better than an awkward or embarrassed look

And we liked the irony of this guy falling for the same type of guy he gave color shit for

And boom

And please please pleaseee keep in mind its actually WAY more than that, but we talked about this so long that we started to make our own entire story and it would take AGESSSS to go into detail
