This is my first post and edit, i guess. I look like Hatsune Miku ;-; (THE MIGHTY NECK IS GONEEEEEE)
Summary: Garmadon comforts you after you escape a toxic relationship.
Warnings: cussing, mentions of toxic relationship
...
You are forever grateful for the Bounty.
The chilly early morning air trickles across your skin, beckoning a brigade of goosebumps to appear. Coming out to sit on the deck with no blanket had turned out to be a mistake, but the stillness of it all makes it bearable – cold be damned.
You bite your lower lip, leaning against the railing and staring out into the ocean water below you. Part of you almost wants to slip into the water and vanish entirely. That would certainly alleviate the pain a little bit.
Thoughts consume your mind as you continue staring at the sea, a war of emotion raging within you. How could you have let this happen?
“You’re up rather late.”
The voice snaps you out of your head as you spin around to find Garmadon standing a few feet behind you, all four arms folded behind his back as he studies you with those eerily beautiful red eyes. Why is he here?
“Garmadon?” you mumble with a frown. “Well, yeah. So are you.”
“I’m always up late. The darkness tends to work in my favor, you know,” he replies, walking forward until he’s standing next to you.
“Maybe so,” you note, turning to stare back out at horizon before you. “Maybe I just like the dark. It’s the only time when my lovably idiotic teammates aren’t raising hell amongst themselves.”
That earns a chuckle from him as he sits a comfy distance away. “I suppose that’s fair enough.”
Silence ensues. You sneak a glance towards him, wondering why he decided to sit down too. “Why are you out here?”
“Something troubles you,” he says simply. “And I find that intriguing considering you are the most difficult member of the team to get a read on.”
“Really?” you wonder, turning towards him. “I thought that would’ve been like…I don’t know. Cole or Zane.”
“Indeed. Even those two have tells. But you, on the other hand, have a silent type of strength about you. Yet tonight, I feel as if something is off.”
You groan slightly. “Yeah, but it’s really stupid. Nothing to worry about.”
“I doubt it is stupid. You do not get upset over matters you believe to be petty, am I right?”
You don’t answer, electing to turn back towards the ocean.
“I thought so. What is the matter, then?”
“Why are you asking me this?” you reply. “You’re just here because of Lloyd, right? We’re still on opposite sides.”
“That may be true, but I’ll let you in a little secret.”
“A secret?”
“I actually like you. You are different from the other ninja.”
You can’t help but scoff. “You like me? How am I any different?”
Garmadon shrugs, simpering slightly. “You simply are.”
A sound of disbelief escapes your lips as you roll your eyes. “Whatever.”
“Even if we are on opposite sides in the end, it doesn’t mean we can’t have a chat.”
“True,” you say, chuckling. “Man, Kai was kind of wrong about you.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“He’s convinced you’re going to try something, which I still believe is likely, but you just want your son safe and sound. Overall, you’re not horrible to have around for an evil warlord, and it’s cool you’re down to chat.”
He chuckles lightly, staring out into the ocean. “Exactly. Now, if you need an ear I’m willing to lend one.”
You sigh, smile fading as you shrug. “Not much to tell. I just got out of a toxic relationship, is all.”
“Which is a feat in itself – one worthy of celebrating.”
“Yeah, except I don’t feel like celebrating,” you mumble. “I just want to wither away.”
“Why is that?”
“I just can’t believe I let some of the shit he did slide,” you respond, a hint of anger slipping through your tone. “I mean…I feel so much freer now, but…remembering what he said bothers me. The way he talked about me to other people just disgusts me, because I’m not like that, you know?”
“Very understandable,” Garmadon agrees. “But it isn’t your fault, and that’s what you need to remember.”
“I could have said something, though,” you mumble. “I could have stood up for myself. I didn’t because I was scared. And yet this entire time…he was the asshole. He was in the wrong. And I told him he wasn’t.”
Garmadon simply hums in response, but you can tell he’s still listening.
“Yeah,” you mumble, rubbing your forehead. “I fucking regret it so much. Every time I think about it now, I just…” Words fail to form as you clench your fists, tears pricking at the corner of your eyes. Your arms are shaky as you wipe the tears away, willing yourself not to break down again. “I don’t even think I’ll be able to move on now. I’m scared. Scared of encountering another bad experience after knowing how badly it hurt me.”
“You will come to realize soon that he is not worth your tears, nor should he scare you away from the potential of a good experience,” Garmadon says, standing up. “People like him are the vermin I wish to eliminate once I recreate Ninjago into my own image.”
That makes you laugh as you stand up, wiping your eyes one more time. “Really?”
“I am being serious. My version of Ninjago will only consist of strong-minded people. People who will carry out my mission in the most efficient manner possible. Having pathetic excuses for men such as him would only slow me down.”
“Damn,” you mumble, smiling softly. “I just might hop on over to your side then.”
Your little joke elicits a soft laugh from Garmadon as he turns to face the ocean. “If that were true, I would gladly welcome you aboard my cause.”
From there, a pregnant silence ensues as you glance at the dark sea before you. At least you won’t see him anymore. Now, it is time for you to heal.
“Do you still have any of his belongings by chance?” Garmadon suddenly questions.
You remain silent as you rack your memory. Do you?
“Do I?” you mumble to yourself. “Wait…I think I do have something.”
“If you retrieve it, I have an idea that is sure to lift your mood,” Garmadon replies, a smirk playing on his lips as he crosses his upper limbs.
You nod, rushing inside the Bounty. There, you grab the tablet he had forgotten the last time he visited. Additionally, you grab the photo book you’d shared with him. Additionally, you snag a blanket so you can combat the chilly air, doing your best to avoid looking at the items while you return outside.
Once you do, Garmadon turns to you, grinning wickedly. “Excellent. What have we here?”
“Our photo album and his tablet that he forgot,” you answer, wondering what he has planned.
“Oh, those will do quite nicely,” he mumbles, tone carrying a baleful undertone that sends excited chills to your skin.
“What are you going to do?”
He extends an arm out, igniting his fist in a brilliant purple flame. “What I excel at most – destruction. Though this time, I will not be administering the destructive blast.” He cups two of his hands together, molding the energy into a purple ball. “You will.”
With that, he holds the ball of destruction out to you. Your eyes widen. “Wait, really?”
“Yes.”
Curiosity piqued, you poke the ball with a cautious finger. It almost feels like a water balloon in way, but…electric? You shrug it off, dropping the album and tablet. You return your attention to the purple ball, picking it up with careful hands.
It almost seems to pulse in your hands as you cup it, turning towards the pile. “What do I do?”
“Throw it on the objects as hard as you see fit,” Garmadon answers, crossing both pairs of arms as he steps back to watch you. “The blast will not affect you nor the Bounty – only the tablet and album.”
“Ooh,” you mumble, taking a few steps back as you ready the blast. A few moments later, you throw it down, watching in delight as the purple explodes. Its dark mist makes it hard to see the damage done at first, but once it clears, you see the destroyed photo album and tablet.
“Good…but we could do better,” Garmadon notes, summoning another ball. “Again. Do not hold back.”
You nod, taking the ball once more.
“Close your eyes,” you hear him instruct as you wind your arm back. “Envision the amount of pain and suffering this miscreant has inflicted upon you. When you throw this next blow, incorporate that suffering into the throw. Visualize it as you returning the favor and making him suffer.”
Remaining silent, you keep his words in mind as something snaps inside of you. With furrowed eyebrows and a short yell, you slam the ball down once more. The explosion becomes more violent this time, sending the charred pieces scattering across the deck.
“Now that’s more like it!” he cheers, laughing wickedly. “Better?”
You grin with an exhilarated nod. “Hell yes. That was awesome!”
He chuckles, stepping closer to you. “I am glad to hear it. Now, you have had a taste of the element of destruction.”
“I like it,” you mumble. “It’s…powerful.”
“It is indeed,” he replies.
You hug the blanket around your figure, kicking the remaining scraps to the side. You’d pick them up later. “Thanks for that, Garmadon. That really helped, strangely enough.”
“You are welcome. I am glad I could be of help.”
You’re about to say something, but instead, you catch his eye. He studies you as you are him.
After a few moments, you suddenly step towards him, circling your arms around his neck. He stumbles, clearly startled.
“What are you…?”
“A hug,” you mumble. “Too much?”
“Ah…no, I just…”
“Don’t get hugs often, I assume,” you finish for him, feeling his four arms leaving their original position as they encircle your figure. You press your cheek against his chestplate, feeling secure within his four-armed grasp.
“Yes, that’s it,” he replies, staring at you in shock as you step away moments after.
“Thanks again,” you say again, smiling softly as you step towards the railing of the Bounty. “Well…down to chat for a little while longer? I know I won’t be able to sleep after all of that excitement.”
“I would love to.”
That was definitely not how you were expecting that night to go, but hell, you aren’t disappointed.
when was the last time I posted Penguins
oh well, here’s a few
oh and have a Gerald too
I love your penguin fics so much I would like to request a fic of btas penguin introducing his s/o to his dear friend Eddie, but gets jealous when they get along so well (the riddler can be rather charming after all)
a/n: this gives me flashbacks to when I did a scenario of eddie stealing reader away after oz turned them away, but thankfully that won't be the case here lol. This story sorta took on a life of it's own so the length maybe crazy and I tried ending this in like three different ways..so sorry if it’s kind of a mess lol BUT I hope y'all enjoy!
Word Count: 1.1k
Content Warning: envious emotions, brief mention of violence, nothing too crazy mosty fluff here folks!
You were riding in the backseat of a limousine with your date for the night.
You held his hand as you giddily waited to arrive at your destination. His hand always felt right in yours.
Even with his webbed digits, you couldn't imagine any other hand extremities entwined with your own.
“It's a pleasure to see you so eager, dove.” Oswald gave your hand a loving squeeze.
“I'm always eager to spend time with you, Ozzie.” You squeezed back. “…I am also curious to meet these colleagues of yours, and I’m touched that you feel comfortable enough to introduce me to them.”
Oswald had kept his more criminally inclined affairs far from you, so that you can never be accused or anything or caught up in any of it.
However, he figured it was high time you meet a few of his fellow rogues, just for the sake of not having you worry as much or if you were somehow ever in a jam, he knew you would have someone perhaps like Harley to look out for you.
Oswald couldn't deny that soft enlightened look on your face when he offered the idea.
This strong gesture of trust that the both of you felt without saying a word.
Oz picked up your hand that was clasped in his and gave a peck to the back of it.
The car slowly stopped in front of the Iceberg Lounge.
“Ah, we’re finally here. Well, are you ready, darling?” He asked one more time before the driver opened his door.
“Ready as I’ll ever be!” You smiled widely, tightening your grip on his hand as you let him lead you into the club.
Oswald smiled warmly at you at your excitement.
A smile that quickly faded as the hours passed.
You had met a handful of the Rogues Gallery. You made quick friends with Harley and Pam.
Harvey was cordial enough, despite some incredulous comments about your true relationship with Oswald here and there.
You couldn’t help but feel relief when Joker got rather bored of you after you didn’t laugh at his distasteful violent jokes.
Then there was Mr. Nygma…or Edward as he preferred you to call him. He seemed surprised by you at first, somewhat in awe. Once you introduced yourself, he loosened up.
Most of them seemed decent enough. Mr. Tetch and Dr. Crane somewhat kept to themselves, but not impolite.
Killer Croc seemed harmless enough…at least in your presence.
All the Rogues were interesting, but Edward’s bouts of knowledge that he shared with you were nothing short of fascinating.
It didn’t take long for Oz to feel third wheeled to your conversation.
He always did consider Ed to be a close acquaintance, perhaps even a friend who shared common cultured interest.
Albeit at that moment, he wanted nothing more than to shove his umbrella down the green suited man’s throat.
Oswald could feel the dense bile of envy boiling in the pit of his stomach. To avoid saying or doing something rash, he decided to get both of your drinks refilled.
You thanked Oswald as he waddled over to the bar. You turned back to Edward when you heard him softly chuckle.
“It’s such a shame that Ozzie took so long to introduce us. I couldn’t imagine keeping you cooped away for so long.”
“Well, there’s no time like the present as they say..besides Ozzie was just looking out for my safety.” You looked over your shoulder to Oswald, longingly and lovingly.
Yet you couldn’t help but notice he had somewhat of a grimace on his face.
“Ah, that is true. Better late than never... how long exactly have you been with the old bird anyway?”
You began rattling about the story of how you and Oz met, with your mind so deep in thought you didn’t even notice Edward getting closer to you.
Unfortunately, Oswald walked up to the sight.
You recalled something that made you giggle.
A giggle so infectious Ed began to chuckle with you.
His hands tightened around the newly refilled glasses. How he longed for his hands to be around Ed’s neck instead.
Friend or not, he was getting awfully close to his lover.
Ed followed your gaze and his eyebrows rose up in concern.
You looked up when you noticed Oz coming into your peripheral vision.
You also noticed the strong grimace on his face. The drinkware in his hands shook from the intensity of his grip.
“Ozzie…is everything all right?” You slowly approached him and gently took one of the glasses out of his hand and replaced it with your own.
Your lips upturned slightly as your lover's shoulders slowly drooped and he took a strained sigh.
“Just…peachy..” He grumbled.
“Why don't we have a moment to ourselves outside on the balcony?” You suggested.
Oswald didn't answer but silently followed your lead.
Once you two were fully alone with the confirmation of a closed screen door, you put your hand on his shoulder as you walked up behind him.
“Want to tell me what happened there, Ozzie? D-Did I do something wrong?”
Oswald quickly turned to face you, as upset as he was…he knew it wasn't your fault.
“No, absolutely not darling! You've been doing so well taking in all my colleagues’ well…eccentricities…”
You nodded, slowly trying to come up with another reason.
“And with Edward?”
Oswald’s face tightened with a grimace.
Bingo.
You wrapped your hands around the contours of Oswald's round and loveable face and made him look you in the eyes.
“Ozzie…”
“Y-Yes…my dove?” His eyebrows perked up at the contact.
“You know I love you right?”
“Y-Yes I do…”
“And of all the…exquisite people I've met tonight…they all pale in comparison to you.”
A bashful smile spread across Oswald's face as a soft hue of red hinted at his cheeks.
“You'll always have me, no matter what…no one is going to steal me away that easily.” You giggled as you leaned the tip of your nose to the tip of his own nose.
Oswald seemed to finally take a sigh of relief. “I…I know, dove…I-It was rather foolish of me to…get as upset as I got…”
You shook your head. “It’s how you felt, I'm just glad I noticed before you got back to the table…you looked like you wanted to bite Ed's head off.”
Oz grumbled. “Well…maybe…”
You playfully smacked him on his shoulder. “Ozzie!”
He flailed his arms up in defeat. “I jest, my love! I jest!”
“Do you feel better now?”
There was a brief pause of reflection before Oswald nodded with a content smile on his face.
“Indeed…thank you, dove.”
You grabbed the glasses you set off to the side on a glass outside table and handed one of them back to Oz.
You lifted your glass in front of him. “A toast to us?”
Oz chuckled warmly as he clinked his glass against yours before taking a hearty swig.
“To us, my darling dove.”

LEGO NINJAGO: Imagine Being Garmadon's Child And Coming Out.
[This is for all of the LGBTQ+ members. Side note: I haven't seen Ninjago in a long time so I'm writing this mostly from memory so I'm sorry if it's not accurate enough. ]
This man might not always show it but he LOVES his kids.
I mean, he was so scared for Lloyd's safety that he teamed up with his enemies.
I believe that he will be pretty confused when you'd come out as lesbian/non-binary/gay/bisexual etcetera (if you tell him during the time he was corrupted).
Not bitter or anything negative, just confused.
This man literally lived in a time before modern day showers were even a thought.
Once you explain it to him, he will be super chill and supportive.
(And let's don't mention a bit *over* protective.)
Like, if anyone tries to insult you for your sexuality and/or be disrespectful. . .
Welp, they better prepare their funeral.
No one treats his child like that and lives!
Moving on😁
If you tell him when he isn't corrupted;
SUPER understanding, a bit confused at first but once you explain it to him, he will be very accepting.
Very caring and protective too.
If someone is going to be rude or disrespectful to you because of that, he will calmly try to reason with them.
But, if they continue, he will have to throw some smacks and maybe even some punches to put some sense into their skulls.
Ahem!
Being Garmadon's child also means being Lloyd's sibling.
He will instantly understand and be cool with it.
VERY supportive brother.
He loves you to the moon and back.
If anyone messes with you, messes with him. (His words)
been drawing a lot of Penguins today
