Kinda nonsense rant about Shadows House manga chapter 201.

In short, please give these kids some breaks!! The manga events outside of flashbacks happened one after another in less than 6 months like??

The children except for Kate and Emilico didn’t aware of Anthony’s deeds and most of them saw/heard Christopher having strong reputation too.. With them seemingly had same goal with Kate, I think it makes sense that the likes of John and Patrick would buy them willingly to be allies, as long as he didn’t brought up the fact that the humans should sacrifice themselves anyways for unification, not until they agreed with this themselves though. However I also think it doesn’t make sense, since with how Kate furious was to Anthony on his public reappearance, they couldn’t just let their guard down. If it’s willingly then I guess they kinda had lack of faith with Kate’s abilities to be a leader?? o(-( (for the children Christopher would now be the one leading the reform and Kate would just be supporting?)

It also makes less sense to side with Anthony willingly in the case for Patrick, I don’t remember if at some point Kate told her main allies about Anthony, but he should be at least aware that unification of Louise and Lou was made possible due to Anthony’s interference (though he heard this as Kate’s speculation). As for John,, he might have heard of Maryrose and Rosemary’s flashback as well as Christopher’s death, but did he make connection or being told about Anthony’s whereabouts and that this guy became Mary+Rose’s accomplice yet deemed them useless when they refused to unify?

Though I find it weird that Patrick didn’t seem questioning a lot about Anthony in the rescue operation. Perhaps Kate did tell her allies after all in off-screen? But it was kinda important to not be missed … I mean it’s possible, but well whatever. However, I can see idea that Kate didn’t tell them about Anthony because at that point she still kinda doubt practically everyone even though she already deemed Anthony suspicious. But still he was proven to be helpful in a way, if they’re being told stuffs like having clash of ideas with Mary+Rose but still help them escape due to respect towards their resolve, or joined hands with Kate on Barbara’s problem, would it be guaranteed for Kate to not be told that she should accept being his disciple? By the way, there shouldn’t be much time for her to explain all of this besides at the time where they reunited with Shirley and Ram or at meeting after the funeral (before newest debut at least). At that point, no children would know how he really is.

So, I think brainwashing plays the most part for Patrick and John to side with Anthony and Christopher. But unlike the brainwash before, Kate and the allies’ goal happened to be the same with Anthony’s (seemingly), though the brainwash effect making it easier to elect Christopher as the SH successor and cloud their judgement for like the fact that Kate was furious at Anthony for using Barbara. It doesn’t feel strange for the shadow allies to see all the human kids preaching Christopher since with his previous achievement, it just makes sense for him to be a leader who will aid them in reform. Well, it hasn’t been a day after the coffee was given, I think they will notice the difference later??
