On when did Frank started falling in love with Karen.

I wonder at point the realisation hit him, when did he finally choose to acknowledge it. Because to be honest I don't even think denial was an option for him, it seemed like the smoothest fall ever, I can't pinpoint when it happend since he goes puppy mode the second he sees her.

I often think of how that troubled him, probably disgusted him as it certainly felt like a betrayal to Maria, as the "human/emotions" part of him, he associated to her and their family, it was reserved to them only and to see him processing that would've been so interesting.

Karen has been a constant in his life for nearly a decade now, regardless of how little they've communicated during that time, his reaction/dedication to her hasn't lessend in the least. It's quite the contrary seeing as he ran to her the second she called.

He tried in his way to extend an olive branch only to be turned down, understandably, but I'd like have an insight of his mindstate/feelings and how they affected him and how he dealt with the loneliness of his choices.

After multiple scenes throughout the season using that super cool switch-up in focus and aspect ratio to show when Matt has his hearing focused somewhere else, in this case when we see Matt tilt his head, it’s to show us his split focus.

He’s talking to Karen yes and he’s listening to her, but he’s verrrrry interested in Frank’s reaction and he’s locked in on it. And we’re meant to be too- we spend so long focused on Frank. Seriously it’s such a long shot.

Matt and Karen are talking while Frank isn’t reacting in a traditional sense, but they’re out of focus; it’s all about Mr Castle right here, and his definitely-not-reacting reaction. But I bet a heartbeat doesn’t lie.

Since I've seen it floated about how Frank and Karen getting together means the end of Punisher-Frank (it doesn't, just would require some changes to how he's handled); I'll go with the flipside. If Matt and Karen were to get together, then how long before Elektra shows back up and either there's another LT or Matt again picks Elektra over Karen. Like before I would've tapped on the comics but now after a rewatch, its very damn clear that Elektra is always going to eclipse any other person. Which that'd just be a repeat of s2 and regress most characters, but especially Karen. There's drawbacks to every side of the equation, which means that's a nonfactor. Daredevil needs to take a hint from Luke Cage in following the chemistry & story that is Kastle, not Jessica Jones s2-3. Just ftr I like s1 but god is it annoying in s2-3 in its insistence on bucking the chemistry to force in rando guys. Luke/Claire is -chef's kiss- and is a case of a Matt floated love interest who didn't match with him, thus going her own way w/ another love interest). Same as Kastle. Mattlektra not only has the chemistry, the story, but also bonus points is it tickling the comic fans special spots by being accurate to their pair.

God the next year is going to be so damn annoying with these types of anti bullshit.

the crazy thing about kastle is that they’ve set up a narrative in which karen represents to frank the idea of moving on from his overwhelming grief and giving up the constant self destructive fighting and choosing to actually live and try to heal. she’s literally THE pathway to a happy ending for him. and in order to keep him in the narrative and keep him fighting they CANNOT be in a room for longer than ten minutes bc he would cave and the plot would be over. honestly sickening.
