Pippi (and her fashionable eyeliner brows) having a relaxing bounce after a long day of chancy college.

Took this a few days ago but Karp kept saying I should post it- so here it is! Pippi said only nice comments about her cute brows- they are apparently all the rage amongst chancy these days.

How do you imagine the charmanders and totadile sleep? All snuggled up with their mama, in a pile? Side by side. Or do the babies never sleep and keep mama up all night their their antics?

Say, I can’t help but mention, I saw one of your posts about being hesitant about self-disclosure and that causing distrust with clients. I’ve been learning about self-disclosure in my class and how integral well placed SD can be to building rapport.

What subjects are you hesitant on? How have you found your way around it to build rapport anyway? Feel free to ignore this if it’s too personal! I just figure there’s always something to learn from people ^^

How have you been settling so far?

Erm.

Pippi thinks she’s building something in the garage. She keeps using her talking pad to signal that 🛸 emoji too haha.

Which could mean nothing!

Woke up to Pi having the zoomies. Apparently she just likes going hogwild at night sometimes.

Specifically she fell off of a shelf in my room, knocking dozens of other things down. She's fine, I had Pippi check her.

She also got into the screwdrivers again and took a clock apart. I forgot to post last time she did this but she keeps using our tools for strange means. We didn't care much for the clock so it's fine but like bbgrl please ur like 2 at most. Ur supposed to be making nonsense with legos and eating rocks. Thats what I did when I was like 2.

Actually we haven't gotten her age checked yet we should do that.

And I should get her some legos actually

Cool :) I hope to reach that level of comfortability with many clients in the future as well. Though my … condition has no overt physical element, so there’s that.

How have you been settling so far?

He tends to be isolated and repeat the same routine daily, including housekeeping and care tasks for … anyone? No one in particular? Making poultices and bandages and preparing cups for medication and the like.

We’ve been trying to encourage him and his little oddish pal to do other things- they both enjoyed gardening with my grandpa in the past, or fishing… but it’s really just the same caretaking routine every day.

He’s also reluctant to eat or drink much? He has a little chansey mobile he drives around with, but that’s about all he does for fun. Otherwise he just kind of sits on the couch and… waits.

Chief the Chansey, with his little Oddish passenger (they are inseparable… we’ve tried) are the clients!

Background: Chief was a medic in the pokewars of yore and belonged to my grandpa. He’s in my care now as my grandpa isn’t able to care for him. He’s not distrustful of humans really, more so he sees them all as in his care and can’t seem to submit himself to their care. He’s been pretty isolated and is mourning my grandmother and the loss of company of my grandpa/ loss of caretaking for him since he is in my families care now.

Breaking out of selfless habits in order to care for yourself or let others care for you can be tough, I've actually had that issue myself before when I get too into the zone. ^^"
