glinda sensing elphaba's presence on her balcony in the middle of the night and ushering her inside before anyone sees? check.
a private pride dance party interlude when the wizard's trying to convince elphaba to abandon her morals? but of course.
glinda finally joining elphaba on her broom within the confines of the tower while everything below them is pink and glittery, at once illustrating what could have been and the ways they remain limited even when they're together?? yeah, we have that too, actually. yeah, they're holding hands again.

So I’ve been thinking about it and I think a gelphie kiss in wicked for good right before Elphaba says “They’re coming. You need to hide.” would be heartbreakingly brutal. The unresolved feelings, the abruptness of it before it all comes crashing down. It would make the ending hurt even more.
And, it would parallel the books nicely because Elphaba kisses Glinda and basically tells her they’ll never see each other again but to “hold out” for her. It would haunt Glinda in the movie like it does in the books. And I live for Glinda angst.
I couldn't help thinking about all of you gelphie fans when the new trailer dropped! Sorry I took so long

I'm sorry I won't shut the fuck up about this, but the 360° camera spin around Glinda into revealing Elphaba behind her, the soft breeze in Glinda's hair she gently calls for Elphaba to come inside, the contrast of Glinda's vulnerability/white clothing against Elphaba's steel resolve/dark shroud is THE most romantic framing I've ever seen in my life
