My girlfriend and I talk a lot about our different generations of queerness, because she was doing queer activism in the 1990s and I wasn’t.

And she’s supportive of my writing about queerness but also kind of bitter about how quickly her entire generation’s history has disappeared into a bland “AIDS was bad, gay marriage solved homophobia” narrative, and now we’re having to play catch-up to educate young LGBTQ+ people about queer history and queer theory. It gets pretty raw sometimes.

I mean, a large part of the reason TERFs have been good at educating the young and queer people haven’t is, in the 80s and 90s the leading lights of TERFdom got tenured university positions, and the leading lights of queerdom died of AIDS.

Reminder they want to increase the budget for ICE from 3.5 to 45 billion dollars.

Reminder the majority of that will be for building new detention centers.

Reminder ICE are *currently* detaining tourists who can pay for a plane ticket home and people with visa issues that were already resolved, because they have to make quota so Trump can brag about the numbers going up.

Reminder most of these people were already in the immigration system - that's why they were easy to detain.

Reminder this is all at taxpayer expense.

Dementia is the result of the Brain gradually destroying itself because of long periods of Depression. In other words Dementia equals Depression plus Time. Depression is when you do a partial shutdown of your Conscious Mind to help cope with incessant 'Thoughts' coming from your Subconscious Mind, aka, 'Monkey Mind". The shutdown of the Conscious Mind also means a significant reduction in Brain activity. If you start regular resistance training your brain instructs the body to increase muscle mass. If you stop regular training your brain instructs the body to decrease muscle mass. Use It or Lose It. Your Brain and its neuron connections doesn't treat itself differently to any other part of the body when applying the Use It or Lose It protocol. So Depression and low brain activity, over Time, causes the brain to cannibalize itself to the point where it is called Dementia. It is never too late to start 'resistance training' for your Brain. Try crosswords, sudoku, conversations, hobbies etc. anything that increases brain activity. Oh, and don't forget the most important one; Get rid of the Depression. I feel like a broken record because of how much I mention that intersex infants are ritually killed in multiple countries. NOBODY talks about it. Holy shit. One day I dedicated researching intersex specific oppression because of claims from people that intersexism is just misattributed transphobia. According to my research, there is documentation of intersex infants being abandoned or murdered in China, Pakistan, Nepal, and multiple countries in Africa. I'm sure it happens way more in secret too!

Sorry if this ask is inappropriate I just feel like you're an intersex blog with a fairly large following and I just need people to know this. Nobody talks about it.

Not a weird ask at all, it's actually infuriating that nobody talks about this. And then perisex people also turn around and say we don't matter because we're "rare", huh, I wonder why it seems like there's not many of us! Couldn't have anything to do with the systematic birth-culling or entire modern medical establishment trying to make those of us allowed to live look as perisex as possible. Definitely, we're just like unicorns. Naturally rare.
