me after seeing matt’s beaten eyes, hearing heather saying “no i saved myself” and her view of vigilantes, then vanessa killing adam, matt yelling to his lying client, foggy’s name mentioned more than it ever been this season, matt cooing SWEETHEART to dex wtf, matt grabbing dex’s hair, a man’s getting FRIED, MATT GOT SHOT

BASICALLY EVERY 5 MINS ON THIS EPISODE it’s just keep going i swear I MEAN WHAT THE FUCK

seriously! he really knows this character and has brought him back in such a strong way.

Can we appreciate Charlie's acting? That howl of pain and grief when he heard Foggy's heart stop was so fucking phenomenal

making my mom watch daredevil with me, and during the second episode she goes;

“i feel like everyone could be a love interest, he seems like he really gets around”.

she doesn’t know anything about dd but she clocked matt’s whoreishness IMMEDIATELY.

matt acting like everything is fine and he’s moved on with his life

but he’s disassociating into his coffee

he’s carrying foggy’s memorial card

he’s slouching when he sits

he’s hiding behind a fake smile

he’s changing his glasses and his clothes and his apartment

he’s trying so hard and he’s going to break even harder

i actually have very high hopes for season 2 of born again! i think the last two episodes of s1 were really good and set us up for a good, well made story.

I wish all of season 1 was stronger story wise, but i have full faith that season 2 will be excellent.
