Unlikely or unexplored friendships that bring me great joy to think about:

Usopp and Buggy telling wild and clearly complete bullshit stories to each other. Neither one can tell if the other knows everything they're saying is made up and there's a begrudging mutual respect. They're both clowns tbh.

Nami and Boa because people think they'd hate each other but they're all about that w|w solidarity. They're well on their way to taking over the world and getting absolutely everything they want. Both are well versed in using their looks and charm to get what they want and also getting people to let their guard down before going in for the kill. Boa is quite fond of Vivi, queens respecting queens.

Robin and Law is a friendship no one saw coming. They always share the best tips for getting blood out of clothes and like to debate on whether it's more fun to kill someone with their hands or with their devil fruits powers. They creep everybody out but each crew is happy that they have someone to be morbid with.

Zoro and Kidd/Killer are drinking buddies and every interaction ends with a fight. They either have to be forcibly separated or wait until they pass out from blood loss. They hate ending a fight before a winner though, even when they're injured. Usually they try to argue they're still good to go when getting dragged apart, something similar to it's just a flesh wound.

Franky and Garp. Listen I have no idea why but I just imagine these two idiots causing chaos. Super loud laughter and smacking each other's back progressively harder and harder and pretending everything is fine until they're just straight up fighting. Dad vibes from both even though Garp is dead to me after Marineford.

Chopper and Shanks, who has no idea what this little furry thing is but he's absolutely 100% here for it. Loves the fact that Luffy's crew gets stranger and stranger everytime they add someone. Chopper loves to hear Shanks tell stories of all his adventures and lectures him about his health with Benn standing beside him nodding along.

Brook and Mihawk being bros and loving each other's dark vibes. Mihawk refuses to acknowledge Zoro's taunts about secretly fangirling over the fact that he can be friends with a skeleton.

Luffy and Marco sharing stories about Ace. They both feel like they need to keep an eye on the other in honor of him and that leads to them being pretty up to date on all their latest adventures. Marco's grown very fond of Luffy.

Sanji and Izou because I have a feeling they're both familiar with the whole im going to underestimate and undermine you because your a 'pretty boy.' They have bitching sessions because they can't understand what's wrong with taking pride in the way you look? It's not their fault everyone is always a fucking mess.

I’m just sayin’, Marco is probably the only one of these three I’d let anywhere near me with a scalpel.

Luffy - Names all his pets after food in a non cute way like 'chicken' 'meat' 'ham' 'cheese' just simple ones and he's screaming for 'HEY MEAT WHERE ARE YOU MEAT?' and it's just a mess. Ace - Names his pets after food, but in a cute way. He has pet rats that he calls 'cupcake' 'dumpling' 'chocolate' 'poptart' and it's so out of char that everyone's like excuse me did you call that Rat fuckin' CUPCAKE?

Zoro - if he has a dog it's called 'dog' if he has a cat it's called 'cat' and so on.

Kid - All his pets are named after members of bands no one cares about any more 'this is Dexter Holland and he's a very good boy, isn;t that right Dexter Holland!'

Killer - Food, all pasta related, like every pet he's ever had has been a kind of pasta.

Law - Either something stupid like 'Fluffy' or like 'Clavicle' 'coccyx' and other hard medical names.

Shanks - Every pet regardless of gender is 'boy'

Marco - Just human names 'Bob' 'Craig' 'Steve' and he looks you dead in the eye with a smirk when you have to yell out after 'Stefan' the fucking dog and everyone is chill about it but you. If you piss him off he'll straight up name an animal after you until everyone forgets thats YOUR name and YOU end up with a dumb nickname.

Roger - He used his one good name for his sword and just named everything else after it. Poor Ace never knows if Roger's calling him or the dog. And Roger tries to hide his disappointment when human Ace comes to his calls instead.

Sabo - Something really fucking extra like LORD AND MASTER OF THE DARKNESS or some shit and you have to say the entire name.

Thatch - We will never know because it just becomes a garble of baby talk like people do and it just comes out 'arentyouagoodbouwuwuwuwuyesssuuwuwuw'

One Piece Characters & Their Drawings

this is an amazing collab with my dear @shrimp-sanji ❤ (and of course, go check her 100 followers event!) i had so much fun with this one, and i can't stop laughing at luffy's drawing :')

Luffy: As we’ve seen before, the captain isn’t the best artist. He doesn’t try to be, though. Most of the things he draws, it’s either to illustrate something (like the fishman and the mechanic he wanted for the crew) or just to have fun. He also tries to copy the portraits Usopp makes, but gets bored very quickly.

Zoro: Draws with three pencils, but isn’t very good at it anyway. The swordsman often makes poor Sanji portraits just to annoy the cook. He holds the pencil so strong that he tears the paper by accident or rips the paper while trying to erase something.

Nami: She can draw with ink instead of pencil, after all, she draws her maps. The navigator can draw other things, but not many people know that, because as you can imagine, she doesn’t do it for free. But Nami can draw anything for a small fee.

Usopp: The best artist in the crew, he practiced a lot while growing up since he was alone most of the time. It was a way for him to pass time. He draws lots of portraits of his friends too, and sometimes gives some as a present.

Sanji: His handwriting is very nice, but his drawings… Not so much. The blonde can only draw stick figures, and often draws something for Robin and Nami. Usually it’s a “picture” of them, with lots of hearts.

Chopper: Now, Chopper mostly draws things to study. So he has many sketches of hearts, brains and anatomy in general. He also draws sakura flowers whenever he’s feeling down. His notebooks are full of them. Yes, he has a doctor handwriting.

Robin: She can draw child-like drawings. Not stick figures, but a house, a flower and the sun in the corner. Her drawings are mostly to pass time and a way to cope whenever she’s stressed or upset. Most of the time, she’s reading books, but drawing is also one of her hobbies. She loves to draw for Chopper as well. In memoriam Going Merry.

Franky: He can draw ships perfectly well, but his other drawings aren’t the best. But since he draws often, making sketches of ships, his other drawings are mostly a way to pass time, so they're very cartoonish and not very serious.

Brook: Surprisingly, his drawings are very cute and colorful, especially because he was alone in a dark place for so long. Butterflies, little animals and flowers. Not what you’d expect from a skeleton. He doesn’t show it to anyone and keeps the safe to make sure his crewmates won't find them.
