    the bathroom tiles feel damp to the touch, clothes strewn about. an old rickety fan runs above, unable to keep up with the temperature change. a window is propped open in the hopes of letting the moisture out, however, it only brings in the sound of cars racing by. you press your back up against his, relishing in his hands running through your hair. 

  his fingers are gentle against your scalp, moving slowly, sensually, as the water trickles down against his back. soap suds build up within your hair, pieces pressed down against your skin. “i love you,” he whispers, leaning his head down, kissing your jaw line, “and how sweet you taste.”

  “it’s honey body wash, the same one i’ve always had,” you lean into his touch, hand reaching up to caress his neck, stubble reaching down to his adam’s apple. him having hardly any time to shave it.

  suna looks up at you through half-closed eyelids, still reveling in your touch. pressing his lips against your skin again, he breathes in the same warmth, the sweet sensation sending goosebumps down his legs. your skin is soft to the touch, imperfections unnoticeable as his fingers trace from your sides to your hips. they move gently beneath the water, butterflies forming in your stomach.

  “it feels like i’m breathing you in for the first time,” he moves his hands to the back of your neck, thumbs massaging circles into your muscles. suna leans down again, kissing the bottom of your neck, trailing his lips up to your hairline. 

  reaching your hands back, you find his, pulling them around your shoulders. your back sticks to his stomach, the soap draining down your bodies as you step into the water. the steam builds in the shower, sticking to the bathroom tiles, condensation building. they feel sticky and overwhelmed like your bodies turning to one, your lips pressed against his. beads of water roll down your skin until it joins the rest of the mixture of liquids at the bottom of the shower. swirling down the drain as he pulls you even closer.
