i think it's unlikely, it's the former. Evil Morty has that quality in him: whenever something goes wrong, he's back on his feet instantly, through out this whole fight he wasn't surprised, shocked or worried once.

Foaming at the mouth at nearly 12am over the thought that both Rick and Morty feel like they are unlovable and feel like the other person doesn't love them because of that but the other person still loves them and don't know why they do because it doesn't make sense for either of them to love the other person (Morty is Rick Prime's grandson and Rick constantly emotionally abused Morty) but they still love them because of ✨️~codependency~✨️

i hope season 8 don't have boring episodes like "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie". i don't mind side characters', or side stories [a plot, b subplot] but, i'm talking about episodes where rick and morty don't appear at all, or only appear very little. the show is called "rick and morty", and that is who i expect the show to be about, those two are the only reason i watch the show, and that is who the show should be centered around, rick and morty are the main characters'. as an example; in "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie" episode rick did not appear at all, and was replaced with goldenfold [a background character who only appears very rarely in earlier seasons], and morty was sidelined and only appeared very little in the episode. i'm starting to believe i'm the only rick and morty fan who feels, and thinks this way.
