i cant really draw but give me something morty related to draw anyway!!!!!!
This is something that's been bothering me for a while so I'm gonna post a rant about it. So male abuse victims aren't really shown in the media, I can only think of like 2 that were shown well, which is Hunter from the Owl House and Bojack Horseman from, well, Bojack Horseman. Now I don't watch a lot of TV, but that's still a little in comparison to the female abuse victims I know that were portrayed well. Diane, Adora, Amity (You could agrue that her parents aren't abusive but they do seem emotionally neglectful and that is a form of abuse sooo) Etc., etc., you get the point.
And now we've got Morty, a male abuse victim, and the show just completely ignores his trauma! And it makes me upset! They have this golden opportunity to show a male abuse victim and the effects the abuse has on him, especially since we already see the low self image he has curtesy of Rick, and that he has repressed rage towards Rick, but that's just about all we get. We never see anything more. And it's upsetting, ik the show isn't over yet, they still have 3 more seasons, but I'm just starting to worry. While I love Morty as is, he has so much untapped potential that, if it was unleashed, it would make me love him even more. I just really hope they use Morty more, but I'm scared that they won't explore his trauma because (Credits to @hazelnut-u-out for pointing this out) it would make Rick less sympathetic, since it would be hard to sympathize with an abuser with the effects of their victims being shown, although I would agree Rick could still remain sympathetic since Bojack is sympathetic to many people despite the effects of his horrible actions being shown, I don't sympathize with him but that's for personal reasons.
I just really hope they care less about making Rick sympathetic and more about giving Morty the attention that he deserves and giving our boy justice. What do y'all think?
rick and morty from the same universe as my ocs :)
This season made me cry

It really amuses me that Morty tries to take a break from Rick so that he doesn't mess around (sending him away to spend time with his father) and then his mother just does the same thing as Rick...
And there are other times when family members get annoyed just because they're around, it really upsets me
They all need a break from each other orrrrr I don't know
Heyyyyy I can edit too
He's soSGHSHDHHS I'm going to- *exploded* 💥💥
Sometimes I forget that Evil Morty and Morty are the same person..
Hi everyone, I'm sorry that I was absent (exams) Here are some silly doodles for you. 🛸
I have my own AU where they are adults , I don't have any special changes in this AU, it's just that the characters of Morty and Evil Morty have changed, they have become adults and they are friends can this be called friendship? And they live without Ricks, for various reasons:
• Morty because he decided to live his life (Not because he got tired of going on adventures with Rick.)
• And Evil Morty, of course, because he killed his Rick and now lives the CFC.
In this , he shot his eye ^^
You know, I really like to draw Morty and Evil Morty as adults. I always had this idea that they would have a toxic relationship in the future. Like, Evil Morty will get too comfortable around Morty and because of this he neglects his patience, which Morty is certainly not happy about.
Rick and Morty!
And a little more exhausted Dib.
He's getting a little uncomfortable...
I was just thinking of posting my old random R&M sketches. Sooo...

morty with messy hair appreciation post!
"You're a rogue Rick... Irrational, passionate."
"You love your grandkids. You came to rescue them."
Jesus...the piles among piles of nothing but dead Mortys really show you just how much some Ricks just…don't care about their Mortys. Oh, their grandson died? No big deal, just buy a new one. They don't even give them a proper burial, not even seeing them as people. They were only 14! They had so much of their lives ahead of them, and they die at such a young age because of the amount of Ricks who truly just do not care about their Mortys. They just throw them in a portal and wait for their new one to arrive. Again, to most Ricks, Mortys aren't even people, just a tool to help them on adventures.
Hell, even the Citadel advertises them in a way you'd advertise a pet, or some kinda program
It's very clear that so many Ricks, probably most if not all of the Ricks in the citadel (which the citadel has thousands of Ricks mind you,) at best, don't see Morty as a human, and at worst, don't care about him at all, even Cop Rick says that some Ricks kill their Mortys. Some Ricks kill their 14-year-old grandsons. Let that sink in.
Hell, even later in the episode when Evil Morty started killing every Rick and Morty on the citadel, we see a Morty lying dead with no Rick in sight, implying that that Rick just left his Morty for dead to save himself.
Just imagine Morty's thoughts on this…he already feels like our Rick doesn't care. Knowing that multiple Ricks get their grandson killed regularly, then just dump them off definitely didn't help his thoughts any, especially since right after this, Evil Morty calls our Rick the "Rickest Rick". Little moments like these make Fear No Mort hit so much harder.
This really does show how much our Rick cares about Morty. Our Rick would do anything for him, protects him, even if it means risking his own life, and would give up his own to save Morty. Our Rick is so, so different from so many other Ricks, it is genuinely amazing. I really love how the show portrays that our Rick is so different than most other Ricks. He is the Rickest Rick, yet he's somehow so different than so many of them…I really love Rick, did you know that?
i saw more than few people mention that you need high IQ to truly understand Rick and Morty and I'm always like "???" because do you tho? i have to be honest I'm sure I don't have above average IQ and I understand everything fine. AND to be completely honest if you have any media literacy interpretation skills you get it. of course it's NOT about Pickle Rick and haha Rick is a goofy drunk. show writers spell it out clearly, Rick and Morty as a show is something deeper than that.
i need more morty's badass moments. they make me so happy it's like yes, that's my boy, I'm so proud!!!
toxic rick and morty
oldie but I finally decided to post it
