Spending the day reviewing my readings + finishing my assignments for the next week 🫶🏻🩷 Very productive but tiring! 🤞🏻🍰

i finished babel last week and only managed to recently finish annotating because i needed time to digest everything that happened in the book 🥲😭❤️‍🩹 . babel’s a masterpiece. i loved the book from the beginning till the end. the diverse characters are amazing, the dark academia setting/atmospheric writing is stunning, and tying all this with the whole plot being focused on the power of language and translation is just exquisite. this is one of the best books i’ve ever read 😭 so many books that i’ve read this hear have been so amazing 🥹✨ what is a book that you’ve recently read and loved? https://www.instagram.com/p/CklBX86vPAd/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

study tip:

dress up in a nice dress and do your makeup and pretend you're going on a date with the study material. I like having candles and fancy snacks

Little things can make a big difference

For me it's about color schemes

I generally enjoy studying but oh boy do i love doing it when i can annotate a book with a pretty color scheme.

Makes me want to look for deeper meaning into the text, to draw diagrams and make small summaries.

Today's goal is finding small reasons for happiness in everything and anything

All work and no fun makes for a very cranky law student

Take a break

Go play cards, smell some flowers, read tarot, do a funny sketch of an animal, learn origami, dance for no reason, draw a mustache on yourself
