Decided to sketch a quick group of birds.
Hey anyone that researches bird species can yall tell me what species this little one is? The closest I could find was the yellow breasted chat but I'm not 100%sure that's what this is. My dog found it and I had to grab it from her but it passed away a minute later. I live on the coast of North carolina if that helps with identifying this beauty.
Update! I found out its a common yellow-throat.

Someone got a bath today! The rainy weather in Florida is not always a bad thing. Florida鈥檚 climate is vital for restoring our water system, supporting lush tropical growth, and great for keeping things clean.聽
In honor of World Animal Day, the SNC is spotlighting our Eurasian Collared Dove, named Ginger. Ginger was rescued from a pet store that wanted to put him down because of his inability to stand up straight. When he came to the SNC, we found that he could stand perfectly when he was given a proper perching space.聽
Because Ginger is an exotic animal to Florida, we are not allowed to release him. Instead, he will live at the SNC with loving care takers as an Educational Ambassador.聽
This injured Burrowing Owl was brought to the nature center by a concerned Broward County resident to be rehabilitated. We were able to successfully able to release it back into the wild as good as new!聽
This Burrowing Owl had an interesting feature that made it a unique visitor at our hospital. Most Burrowing Owls have bright yellow eyes. This one in particular possessed a recessive gene that gave it brown eyes instead.聽
Great Horned Owls are native to the Americas, with a preference for deciduous, coniferous, forest, and desert habitats. They are carnivores with a diet that includes small mammals, reptiles, and even other owls!聽
Fun fact: When clenched, a Great Horned Owl鈥檚 strong talons require a force of 28 pounds to open.聽
Our resident owl is with us due to a permanent wing injury that prohibits them from ever flying properly again.聽

ESP || Esta ilustraci贸n, aunque hace unos a帽os que la hice, sigue siendo una de mis favoritas. Ayer fue el d铆a de la madre y no hay mejor d铆a para contaros la historia detr谩s de ella. Hace unos a帽os mi madre se embarc贸 en el proyecto de abrir un espacio propio como terapeuta, como todos cuando empezamos un nuevo proyecto tenia mucha ilusi贸n y nervios. Yo quise contribuir con una ilustraci贸n que le diera buena suerte y pens茅 en esta ave majestuosa, la cual en muchas culturas esta relacionada con la buena suerte, la compasi贸n, la bondad y la resurrecci贸n, acompa帽ado de diferentes flores como el lotus, s铆mbolo de la espiritualidad, e insectos polinizadores esenciales para la vida. Aunque en estos momentos casi todos los aut贸nomos vivimos momentos de incertidumbre, espero que esta ilustraci贸n le siga dando toda la buena suerte necesaria para volver a florecer!馃尰
ENG || This illustration, although I did it a few years ago, is still one of my favorites. Yesterday was Mother's Day and there is no better day to tell you the story behind it. A few years ago my mother embarked on the project of opening a space of her own as a therapist, like everyone when we start a new project, she was very excited and nervous. I wanted to contribute with an illustration that would give him good luck and I thought of this majestic bird, which in many cultures is related to good luck, compassion, kindness and resurrection, accompanied by different flowers such as the lotus, symbol of spirituality, and pollinating insects essential for life. Although in these moments almost all the freelancers live moments of uncertainty, I hope that this illustration continues to give her all the good luck necessary to flourish again!馃尰
CAT || Aquesta il路lustraci贸, encara que fa uns anys que la vaig fer, segueix sent una de les meves preferides. Ahir va ser el dia de la mare i no hi ha millor dia per explicar-vos la hist貌ria darrere d'ella. Fa uns anys la meva mare es va embarcar en el projecte d'obrir un espai propi com a terapeuta, com tots quan comencem un nou projecte tenia molta il路lusi贸 i nervis. Jo vaig voler contribuir amb una il路lustraci贸 que li don茅s bona sort i vaig pensar en aquesta au majestuosa, la qual en moltes cultures est脿 relacionada amb la bona sort, la compassi贸, la bondat i la resurrecci贸, acompanyada de diferents flors com el lotus, s铆mbol de la espiritualitat, i insectes pol路linitzadors essencials per a la vida. Tot i que que a hores d'ara gaireb茅 tots els aut貌noms vivim moments d'incertesa, espero que aquesta il路lustraci贸 li segueixi donant tota la bona sort necess脿ria per tornar a florir! 馃尰
