The Bloodraven
Hi my name is Lord Brynden Blo'odraven Crow Rivers and I have a stark raven-shaped birthmark (that's how i got my nickname) that is wine red and covers half my face and blood red eyes like fresh blood and a lot of people tell me i look like Visenya Targaryen (AN: if u don’t know who she is get da hell out of here!). I’m related to Shiera Seastar and I'm glad because she’s a major fucking hottie. I’m a greenseer but my eyes are red. I have pale white skin. I’m also a sorcerer, and I live in a cursed castle called the Red Keep in Westeros where I'm the master of whisperers ( I'm 34). I love the Alchemist's Guild and I buy all my wildfire from them. Today i wore a black doublet with matching velvet around it and a black leather breeches, pink half-cape and black boots. I was wearing pale pink lipstick, no foundation, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking outside Maegor's Holdfast. It was raining and snowing so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of Blackfyres stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

The duality
I really enjoy the difference between Aemond the Kinslayer and Brynden Rivers (Bloodraven).
Both of them lost an eye at one point in their lives.
One became a crybaby and a psychopath, spending his entire life raging about the fact that he lost that eye (even though he had it coming). And as proof of his childish mentality, he added a sapphire in that eye’s place, thinking it would make him seem cool. Funnily enough, that missing eye also played a big part in his death. (Just goes to show that Targaryen and Hightower blood don’t mix well).
The other rose above that missing eye. Never tried to cover it up, let it scar and became a symbol of pride for him for his accomplishments in the Blackfyre Rebellions. Bloodraven became a respected Targaryen soldier, Hand of the King and Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch.

Brynden Rivers and Shiera Seastar, my two problematic faves, saying goodbye.
(Or, more accurately, Shiera is threatening Brynden with aeons of torture if he dares to do something as dumb as dying, because she will have to find another one to make jealous and boss around and she has no time to do so.)
In my mind this may have happened before the Targaryen forces left to fight in the first Blackfyre Rebellion. (Yes I know that there is no Weirwood in King's Landing but sometimes aesthetic wins over accuracy)
I have my anatomy exam in two days and I should be studying but... it's late. And my brain is mush. I found this wip laying forgotten and I had at least to render the background until it did not look like an utter mess.
(I think it may be some unfinished ASOIAF fanart, because the tree is surely a weirwood, and the characters give me some Brynden and Shiera vibes, but mainly it was an excuse to learn to paint all the things I struggle with.)
Fly or die (the Last Greenseer)
I was reading A Song of Ice and Fire (again) and I felt like painting Bran's "fly or die" dream. The problem is that my brain is broken and I ended up thinking about the Three Eyed Crow and how he probably may have learned greensight the same way from his predecessor... so here is Brynden Rivers being taught the fine art the greenseer by almost being impaled on oniric spikes.
(In my headcanon this happened while he was recovering from the Redgrass Field)
