in grinch 2018 he tells max he's "the best dog a grinch could hope for." this insinuates his name is not the grinch; while some would assume this is his race or ethnicity, I raise you another interpretation. a guy using this phrase might say "you're the best dog a man could hope for," which means grinch is not a name or a race but actually a gender. on the other hand, the whos seem to be names (cindy lou who, whoville, etc) and therefore I'd like to propose the grinch is some unique, messed up who and that's why he was outcast--cause everybody freaked out.
Merry Christmas people of Tumblr!! I send all of you lots of love and warm wishes this holiday season! ❤️💚🫶:3 here’s some festive doodles!! 🫶^_^🎄(I actually drew this over a month ago, lol)
Some Grinch sketches to welcome the festive season ✨. I watched the 2018 Grinch for the first time since 2021 and I weirdly don’t remember seeing it in 2021 at all. So it was kind of my first time watching it in a way. Me and my mom loved it! It’s so cute and silly and so undeserving of all the hate!! My mom thought the little Grinch was so adorable and I thought the Grinch emotional eating was such a mood so obviously I had to draw both those things.
WAIT HALLMARK MOVIES ARE MADE BY THE CARD COMPANY????
This whole time I thought that there was a director named Hallmark who was famous for making really bad Christmas movies and thus the name Hallmark movies.
it’s one of my favorite Christmas movies other than Christmas Vacation :)))
it's december so this post i made in september is getting notes.
I need this but I can't draw for shit (don't have the motivation) PLEAsE SOMEONE DRAW IT
today's adorable dad thing is:
he made a family Christmas tradition. despite half of his kids being grown adults. he made binge watching Hawkeye before Christmas a Thing We Do ("it's a Christmas movie!" it is a tv show for one and for two you don't usually like this kind of stuff? and for three we never watched tv shows at all before?? but aww it's adorable how excited he gets about it)
cause it's Christmas time
so I just watched "it's a wonderful life" (1946) for the first time and my god there is a reason this movie is a classic. genuinely crying in the club right now. I want to force everyone I know to watch this movie. I will never shut up about this for as long as I live.
Watch now on Showfer.com!
New fav Christmas movie just dropped y’all
(Red one)
(It actually is not great but has Nick kroll in it so…….)
(Is actually in love with Nick kroll)
(I’m aro and I’m not in love here is just so fucking funny)
I'm convinced that the only reason people watched this movie was because of David Harbour
Currently watching this very cliche (but still decently enjoyable) Christmas movie and it has this horse girl subplot where the older sister is falling in love with horses, but there are these long, lingering shots where she's looking at this female farmhand working with the horses, and she keeps talking about how great and cool that farmhand is, and I can't decide whether it's actually a burgeoning lesbian subplot or just a heavy accidental implication, but it really does feel soooo close to overtly romantic.
Anyways my hot new ship is these two. Time to build it from the ground up ;)
A Christmas Story, Ralphie’s “Pink Bunny Suit” Inspired Blythe
Blythe a Day December 2023 for: Christmas Bunny
Ralphie opens his present from Aunt Clara, revealing it to be a pink bunny outfit.
Adult Ralphie: (Aunt Clara had for years labored under the delusion that I was not only perpetually four years old, but also a girl.)
Mrs. Parker: Oh, isn't that sweet? Ralphie, go upstairs and try it on if you--
Ralphie: I don't want to!
Mrs. Parker: Go upstairs right now and put on that present! She went to all that trouble to make it, now go on!
[Ralphie runs upstairs.]
[Down comes Ralphie, clad in the bunny suit.]
Mrs. Parker: Ohhhh, isn't that cute? That is the most precious thing I've ever seen in my life. (Randy laughs)
Ralphie: Shut up.
The Old Man: He looks like a deranged Easter Bunny.
Mrs. Parker: He does not!
The Old Man: He does too; he looks like a pink nightmare. Do you wanna take it off? (Ralphie nods his head) Tell the kid to take it off.
Mrs. Parker: Alright, you'll only wear it when Aunt Clara visits; now go on and take it off.
The Old Man: Take it off!
