I LOVE the Yellow Submarine album, and when I learned that Yugo and Day pulled inspiration from the movie for character designs, I KNEW I had to draw something for great god grove inspired by it
So this really was a right place right time scenario :•}

i usually don't write long descriptions under my drawings, but i feel like this deserves some sort of explanation...
thespius' outfit is heavily based on one of chappell roan's outfits (specifically her pink pony club outfit from october 5, 2023), with minor modifications designed by me. the heart thespius is sitting on is based on chappell roan's performance of red wine supernova on the late show. both click clacks' outfits were designed by me, and drawn by my lovely girlfriend pluto (the left one is my design, and the right one is pluto's) :-)
we began working on this in early-mid february, but just managed to finish it now (life gets in the way. it's hell). all parts of thespius' outfit were painfully hand-painted by me, from the glitter to the fringe on his chaps. working on this was hell, but it's worth it! i thought it'd be cool to do something based on chappell's looks

Once the flames of this meme died down, Thespius lived up to his title God of Mirth by making me laugh so hard while boarding this i nearly choked.

My entry for the Thespius Fashion Zine! I went with the dress from the end of Ghostbusters entirely because my partner likes it, but I did manage to make a piece that works with it I think!
