Years ago on my very very very first Deltarune playthrough I caught on to the Dark World being based on inanimate objects oddly quickly (I thought they were either playing pretend or the closet was haunted or something) and I thought Ralsei was supposed to be a ball of soot or dust because he's fluffy and lonely so it made sense to me so it was lowkey a bummer to middle school me when he took that hat off
My Dark World version Toriel concept(s).
General idea and vibe:
-looks inspred by ,,the old times" aka.70's -bit cringy and not fitting the rest but still cool (clothing) ^4th one is exception -potion maker/ support role -has some type of purse to keep ingredients or unused potions.
Other details:
-skin gains almondy tint -flower rods open while spraying potions -disco thing ha a pouch (it's grey) and emits potion effect as sound-same does guitar/banjo. -hats don't darken her like Ralsei bc she's taller

I think Toriel would need some time to grasp the concept.
Notes: Feel free to use, change or criticize those. I am terrible at pixelart so i wonder how it would work (probably would need a lot of changes)

Also the soul we control was supposed to be im the vessel but got transplanted into kris. Not a ch3+4 prediction as much as a general theory. Maybe chapter 6 or 7
