Thoughts on a Gorou x reader fic? Basically, reader will be related to Kokomi. However it's one of those scenarios where one sibling is always in the spotlight, but the other is just a shadow. childe: the “i know what’s good for me and i knew it wasn’t you” trope, because even as he flees the scene with a cruel smirk and leaves you to take the fall on the moist dirt with blood on your hands — in the distant gleam of flashing red lights and faint shouts echoing in the tranquil woods…you still think he’s a good person.

diluc: the “i love the memories more than i love you” trope, because at some point, the both of you had realized you only dragged the relationship on, with the basis that the person in front of you was the still the same one you swore you remembered in your head.

xiao: the “i miss you doesn’t mean i’m coming back, and i love you doesn’t mean i’ll stay” trope, because even as you hear the soft rumble of his familiar voice through your phone that sings you tenderly to sleep on a lonely night — despite you parting your own separate ways months ago and deciding to remain as close friends, you never stopped praying to the gods that it would somehow…still be him at the end of it.
