I think it's clear why they're out of shape, they were invited outside of business hours.In fact, they weren't even told what kind of creature it was, they were just told that it was "big."..And they did not specify how much, lol

We can say that this is the beginning of the story / a short backstory. If you have any questions about "What is this thing they tied Robert up with?" It's just a mesh, a sturdy mesh.I needed to come up with at least some way to capture him¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
