I wonder how much time Gumball and Rob interacted with each other off screen. Like for Gumball to bring him up a billion times for no reason, and to be heartbroken when Rob doesn't hate him anymore. Literally in what context of Rob tryna kill him would Gumball have found out about a song he hates.
