I need an identity reveal fic where peter is pepper Potts cousin (Or Tony's cousin but im for some reason drawn to the Pepper idea)

Love fics where Batman’s identity is revealed as Bruce Wayne and the JL is just not connecting the dots.

But I need a fic specifically where the JL is in a situation where they have to lay low in a safe house or whatever for a few days while they figure out their next move and Bruce just takes off his cowl without explanation and somebody looks up to see BRUCE WAYNE in their secret hideout.

The entire JL: *tired from fighting and crashing in the nearest safe house to hide out in for the next few days while they figure out their next move*

Batman, putting a lot of thought into it: ‘well I don’t want to have to wear all my body armour and my cowl for the next few days, and I trust these people with my life, so I think I can safely take my mask off and reveal my identity’

Batman, without a word even though he should probably say a whole speech and explain why: *takes his cowl off and silently continues with his work in the corner of the room*

The ENTIRE JL: *doesn’t notice*

Someone, probably Hal Jordan: *looks up to see BRUCIE fucking WAYNE sitting in the shadows of their top secret hideout*

Hal:

Hal: WHAT THE FUCK

The JL: *freaking out because why is a civilian billionaire in the secret safe house and how did he get in without the worlds strongest and smartest heroes knowing?*

Also the JL: WHERE THE HELL IS BATMAN????

Bruce: *politely sitting in the corner, still working while he waits for someone to ask him a question instead of incoherently screaming at each other about him*

Yes, but, consider this, Clark can still recognize people eye color, hair color and texture, just not the exact face features.

Batman has a differnt smell than Bruce, maybe because Batman suit it's difficult to clean so its exernal armor kinda smells like blood or Gotham streets and is washed like once a month and it gets dirty again the same night, and Alfred usually cleans like weekly the internal part of the suit. Bruce on the other hand usually smells nice, like the smell of the shampoo or some cologne and the armor blocks the smell of the soap he usually uses.

Plus the clow of the suit has white eyes and the hair is covered, in all of this Clark dosen't know that Batman and Bruce are the same person.

But one day, maybe because Bruce showered in the watchtower with the same soap he usually uses or the suit was just cleaned and still didn't go on patrol before the meeting on the watchtower, Clark recognizes the smell and just as an instict calls Batman Bruce (before the meeting room is full there are like 2 other people, J'onn and Diana, that alredy knows Bruce identity for one reason or another) and right there Clark realize that Batman, is Bruce Wayne

I love identity reveal fanfics, I will never get tired of them, but I would love to see some new spins like; Clark Kent actually has face blindness, yeah turns out Kryptonians use the sense of smell or something. I just think it would be remarkably entertaining to Face-revealed Batman to be having his Dramatic Moment. And Superman is just : ) hello friend <3 absolutely clueless

Really obsessed with this idea of some villain taking over the JL because they figured out a way to mind control every single adult and CM is in the lineup, standing at attention when the villain just goes down the line and asks how best to incapacitate them and he makes it to CM and says “Now, what’ll it take to overpower the Big Red Cheese?” and Cap’s like “With all due respect, Mr. Mind Control, sir, you don’t want that.” And the guy’s super offended like “You can’t tell me what to do! How do I incapacitate you?” “You can’t.” “Then why are you acting all snarky?” “Only I can incapacitate myself, Mr. Scary Evil Guy.” “Then do it. Right now.”

And this is pre-reveal so guess what happens? CM shouts the word, and before the guards can even tell what’s going on, Billy’s zipping between their legs, grabs maybe a weapon of some kind while he’s at it, and BOLTS like the funky little street rat is being chased by a cashier with a broom out of the supermarket, and you know YJ is outside waiting so when they suddenly see this scrappy 14yo Billy Batson running from out of the villain’s lair where JL is being held captive, they’re like “wtf??” and Billy has to convince them that he’s actually the massive Champion of Gods dude but he can only do some magic when he’s in his kid form but he knows the whole layout of the place “and we have to hurry! He’s gonna ask what their secret identities are! God you’re all so slow”, and that’s how JL and YJ learn they accidentally inducted a homeless 9yo five years ago who only agreed cuz they have a kitchen in the watchtower.
