facts abt my post canon bsd au (mostly atsushi and ada centric)
◇ takes place 4 years after everything with the DoA and Hunting Dogs is settled
◇ atsushi grows his hair back out so it's a little past his shoulders
◇ sigma joins the ADA
◇ fukuzawa retires but still comes around to check on his kids former employees and is on standby in case of any future disaster
◇ kunikida and ranpo agree to co-lead the agency. kunikida takes care of most of the paperwork and employee affairs (pour one out for kida) while ranpo keeps an eye out for cases that could be DoA level threat
◇ everybody gets therapy 🥳🎉!! that government hush money compensation check for being attacked by the Hunting Dogs was partially spent on a getting therapists who could actually help them with their issues (pour another one out for the therapists bc the shit they have to deal with...)
◇ genderfluid atsushi (he/she/they), agender dazai (he/him or it/its), nonbinary sigma (they/he)
◇ kunichuuzai canon. dazai and kunikida got together first, then kunikida and chuuya and finally after many schemes dazai and chuuya talked abt their feelings for each other and got together shortly after
◇ atsushi joins a local community college because she realized she can do stuff for herself outside of working. he's studying literature
◇ kyoka and kenji tried to go regular school for a short while before they realized that that they hated it, so kunikida toutered them helped them get a GED (public school couldn't handle them anyway)
(Idt its that bad but just in case) tw: implied w33d usage, implied paranoia, implied hallucinations.
◇ reason why atsushi was finally sent to therapy was bc they were convinced to get high to help their anxiety (one guess who convinced them) and had a bad trip. they got extremely paranoid, mentioned times he would hallucinate and had several concerning statements about himself. when he sobered up the agency said they were going and she only agreed to go if dazai went and surprisingly dazai agreed to go.(dazai planned to go one session and was somehow conned by his therapist to continue going)
◇ found family dazai, atsushi, Kyoka
◇ but also blood family bc wow dazai and atsushi are half siblings!! (Their dad was a hoe, I'll get into in a separate post)
◇ atsushi's orphanage gets shut down (ada birthday gift for atsushi) and gets a documentary made due to the horrific treatment of the children there
◇ sparring buddies chuuya and atsushi
◇ kyoka, kenji, aya and q friendship
◇ after being turned into a vampire akutagawa has sharper canines than the average human and while his lungs are slightly better he carries any inhaler with him just in case
◇ atsushi has more control over his ability in the future and can now shift into his full tiger form on command and communicate with byakko
◇ dazai is also working to control his ability more and can now shut it off for a few minutes before it kicks back on
◇ byakko is a sentient ability similar to arahbaki. she has been around for centuries and has had many different hosts, one who was the author of The Book.
◇ how did they defeat fyodor? Uhhhh he got eaten by rats, turned into one, the tiger ate him and bc of ability bs he stayed dead next question
◇ dazai also has slightly long hair and now uses a cane
◇ tanazaki sibs finally work on their codependency issues
◇ yosano and tachihara go to lunch every few weeks to talk abt shunzen and bond
◇ akuatsulucy canon
◇ sigma and ranpo bet on random shit together and ranpo is surprised at how talented sigma is at betting
◇ ranpoe are long distance relationship atm but poe is making arrangements to move to yokohama
◇ mori steps down as head of mafia for...reasons and kouyou swifty takes charge of the pm (it was supposed to be chuuya but he threatened to leave the whole city and dazai agreed to help sooo kouyou)
◇ atsushi and lucy take edibles
◇ atsushi and yosano both hate being called angel. If you do it it's the fastest way to lose an arm

ive got nothing else to add to this atm so I might make second part one day. this was made before the recent chapters and wildly ignores canon and is built off of most of my headcanons. Bye 👋🏽 👋🏽
Let me add something: Gin don't want to leave Verlaine so she inform him, and he join them with Q.
Hirotsu follow them because Higuci took half of the black lizard's forces and he carries with him a very confused Tachihara.
And then they find Kyoka
Mori is so desperate that he promotes Kaji as a executive (thing don't end up well)
The best thing is that all in the group are considered Fukuzawa's subordinated and they're under the ADA protection, but only Dazai, Chuuya, Aku, Kyoka and Verlaine actually work in the agency.
Kouyou open a flower shop and she go to visit Chuuya and Kyoka every day.
Tachihara convince himself is still following the Hunting Dogs orders, but he started to enjoy is job at the Uzumaki café with Higuci.
Q they're living in Verlaine place and they're going to school like a normal kid.
Hirotsu is enjoying is pension.
And when Mori try to have them back Fukuzawa is like: Nope, they're all adopted now.

I just imagined a very funny BSD scenario where Dazai tells Chuuya that he’s gonna leave the mafia instead of just leaving him and Chuuya is like ‘Fuck it I’m coming’ but he wants to inform Kouyou so they do and she’s like ‘I’m coming too, not letting my baby brother alone’ and somewhere in they tell Aku and Gin and they also want to come-
Anyway, this just ends up with Mori going to bed with a perfectly functional mafia and wakes up with screams and chaos cause he just lost three executives, an assassin and the Dog of the Mafia. And probably a big chunk of armed forces cause you can’t tell me Higuchi wouldn’t go with Aku.
And like, two years later, the ADA has a very pellicular (and big) visit.

I wanted so bad to do an animation with this song for the latest chapter, but I suck at drawing.
Anyway, I just didn't expect how the chapter went, but I it makes me scared.

Making a BSD characters (without drawing bc I suck at it) based on real authors : Victor Hugo !
I NEED him in bsd. He fought for human rights, for the abolition of the death penalty, for poor people, for children who were forced to work young, for women and single moms (who were treated as h0es if their husband left them)… He stood up to the king and wasn't afraid to say it. He even asked for a painter to represent Napoleon (the king) as a fearful bird fleeing from Victor Hugo.
- Victor Hugo would join the ADA, and this is for sure. But first, he won't be a very nice person… Not necessarily in the port mafia, but probably in some things as bad. Because before being so kind and courageous, Victor Hugo was far-right, so he agreed with what Napoleon said. But he changed and he became a nicer person, and he helped many people.
- In the BSD universe, Victor changed after seeing someone dying in front of him. A little boy named Gavroche (Gavroche is a little boy in one of his books). Gavroche was singing the song "It's Voltaire's fault", before dying. It was something that changed the way Victor saw things, and he decided that no one deserved this. (This is not how the IRL Victor Hugo changed)
- He's someone very brave and courageous. He's not scared of dying or whatever.
- He will be in his twenties
- He will try to teach Kyoka and Atsushi things. Like maths, science ect. The IRL Victor Hugo wanted the education to be free, so it won't be surprising if he teaches kids that couldn't have access to school/education.
- He always hums the song Gavroche sang before he died.
- He will TOTALLY be against Mori, he will hate him for sure. He can't support these types of people.
- He will be serious and calm, but he will always have a gentle smile on his face.
- He will, randomly, buy things for the people in need (food, drink ect…)
- He will love creating little stories in his head, and he will share them with Ranpo and Yosano.
- His ability would be "Wretched" (One of his most famous books.) This will allow him to curse someone. (Because the people in this book have very very bad life. Jean Valjean, Fantine… They're not cursed, but it felt like they were.)
- He will get along with Kunikida and Fukuzawa
- Victor will remind Dazai of Oda
- He will totally be called bby by the fandom-
- His birthday is the 26th of February

- He will make a lot of effort to be forgiven about his past. He, himself, is ashamed of himself for what he has done.
- He's for human's right.
- He will drink coffee in the morning because he's not a morning person.
I'll think I'll do more later about other authors I want in BSD, because there are a lot of them that I want.

Dazatsu Month 2025 Day 16 Jealousy
Having Atsushi back was like a dream come true. It was as if winter was becoming spring. Snow was melted to bring a new. Kyoka woke up the next morning, practically vibrating out of her skin as soon as her eyelids fluttered open. Her big brother was back! And hopefully here to stay. (Of course, if not she was willing to make some sacrifices. Dazai did spent the last few years pinning- kinda like a wife waiting for her husband to back from war. In fact, the old man spent the whole day in a daze after the coming back. She thinks he tripped a couple times? Totally spazzed when Atsushi swooped down to catch him before he hit the ground with a pickup line. It was as if whatever brains he has had leaked out. It was hilarious.) For one, since four years, her darkest night was filled with the shining moonlight.
Jumping out of bed with the excitement of a child on Christmas Morning, she rushed to get dress for work. She wanted to spend as much time with him before Dazai took off with him. Maybe she could make them breakfast? (Just like old times! When she was fourteen and he was eighteen and all they had to worry about was making it to work on time.) Of course there was her roommate, so she had to make more than for two. (A year and a half ago, the Agency had hired a new member whose ability was so much like their were-tiger. Just less of a giant cat running in wind and more like a bird flying in fire. It also felt more like when big brother Chuuya used Corruption at times.)
Shaking her head, she checked her body mirror with satisfaction- not a single hair out place and walked out the door. The moment she step into the hall, her eyes zeroed in on the door slightly across from hers. It was the room that Atsushi had spent the night in (after panicking Dazai booked it out the moment the silver haired male opened his mouth to ask if he could stay over)- it’s door slightly ajar. There was a dry erase board that wasn’t there before- her brother must have hanged it up last night. The blue eyed girl tilted her head. ‘He’s awake.’ She stated within her mind as she took steps to get closer to the door. There was orange writing on it. She raised a hand and gently brushed her fingers overs the word- not really touching the smooth surface. ‘She/her today. I see, a sister instead of a brother.’ With a sharp understanding nod, the young woman of eighteen headed towards the kitchen.
More like a war zone at a stalemate.
The moment she walked into the connecting rooms of both living and kitchen, she was blasted with the winds of inferno hell. The need for water hit her faster than Akutagawa’s Rashomon.
“Good morning Kyoka.” Atsushi chirped from where she was cooking. A smile painted on her face as she scooped some eggs onto a plate. Her eyes gold like molten lave as they refuse to leave the second figure in the room. Kyoka was impressed. “I cooked breakfast. Hope you don’t mind.”
“Of course not.” Her roommate answered, patting her pink lips clean with a napkin with all the grace of royalty. Her cyan blue eyes side eyeing Atsushi through her red lashes. The room became even more hotter. “It’s rare for us to be treated to a warm heavy meal. Thank you Nakajima-san.”
The moon kissed female bared her teeth in a smile. The facsimile of a sweet smile seeming predatory. “I like to serve Tsukino-san.”
One could choke on the sarcasm.
