Boyfriends.... or whatever

So I'm dating this guy but he refuses to call me his girlfriend. How am I supposed to feel about that? Like how tf do you expect me not to be mad & upset, we've been dating for a month now and you still "don't want to label things"?? Is there something wrong with me? Are you just waiting for something better? You're messing with my head and that's not fucking okay to do to somebody.

I’ve never thought I was weird for being aromantic. Even when I didn’t know that I was, before I even knew the term, I thought everyone else was just weird for liking their crushes too much. Having that label is very comforting to me because now I’m like, “It’s okay, they’re still people. They just feel something differently.” Which I guess is what people who come to accept aros think, but I just find it funny that I think it in the opposite direction.

Con un poco de azúcar y mucha fruta de temporada salen unas mermeladas tremendamente deliciosas!

Professor Knopphauser’s Chilli Sauce Labels

Labels for Justin Knopp's (Typoretum) home-made chilli sauces. Ever since I know Justin, I am a huge admirer of his typographic laboratory and chilli garden. So when he asked me to design the labels of his annual chilli sauces I thought, this will be the perfect opportunity to draw limitless details, hidden puzzles and wicked characters, which will perfectly fit Professor Knopphauser's laboratory!

The label is depicting the making of the chilli sauces, on which occasion, skeletons and devilish creatures are gathered in the dungeons of Typoretum. In the background of this diabolic kitchen, there are objects, posters and instruments, which are related to Justin in a way or another. Sadly, this illustration, however true it may seem is not an accurate interpretation of the cooking process, so put down the torches and pitchforks guys!

For the finished illustration Justin has chosen colours to match the sauces perfectly, then he letterpress printed them on his Gietz Hand Feeder. The label cropped size is 145×85mm.

A Weninger pincészet pályázatára készült címketervek. A borászat szőlészettel kapcsolatos termékeinek (vörösborecet, verjus, és szőlőmagolaj) terveztem címkerendszert. A pincészet számára fontos termékeinek eredete, ezért a címkék fő elemei a címer, a származási hely megnevezése és kis mennyiségű gyártás esetén a kézzel történő számozás. A címer alapja a két település ahonnan ezek a termékek származnak. A farkas Balfra utal, melynek német neve még ma is Wolfs, magyarul farkas, míg a tölgyfa Horistchon vagy Haracsony eredeti jelentésére, a „tölgyfaerdőben lakó”-ra utal. A három termékhez tervezett piktogramok a gyártás folyamatából vett eszközök alapján készültek. A piktogramok mellé egy vonalrendszer is társul, ami a termékek szubjektív megtapasztalásán alapszik. A verjus egyszerre frissítő mégis borzongató, az olaj lágy és sima, az ecet pedig szúrós, kemény. Ez a vonalrendszer jelenik meg a címkék szélein is, így az üveg oldalról is azonosítható. Label design competition for Weninger winery. I designed these labels for the non-alcoholic products (red wine vinegar, verjus and grape seed oil) of the winery. The winery considers the origin is important, therefore the main elements of the labels are the coat of arms, the place of origin and in small amount of production the numbering with hands. The idea of the coat of arms comes from the names of the two village where Weninger family have vineyards. The wolf comes from Balf which german name is Wolfs, while the oak comes from the original meaning of Horitschon, that is “oakforest“. The three pictograms are based on winery tools. Beside of these I made three line systems, that means the subjective experience of the products. The verjus is both refreshing and thrilling, the oil is soft and smooth and the vinegar is stinging and hard. This line system appear on the side of the labels so the bottle can be identified from side. Thank you Franz and Marci!
