okey so hear me out
life series have a lot of oddly specific consequences, and every character falls for the same "roles"
and after finally of limited life I have one thought. Watchers liked the story players told in 3rd life, and they make them do it every time, over and over again
I don't really remember events of last life, but it might be the time where they realized that they don't want players to do whatever they want, that they want to let them make their own story, it's their games, they make all the rules and they the ones who are having fun here
and they made Grian kill Scar just to prove this point
it's them who are having fun here
Limited Life SPOILERS FOR FINALE
I just finished Martyn and Cleo's POV WTF!
1st congrats to Martyn!
2nd Someone seriously needs to take a look at jimmy guessing the winners because seriously!?
3rd the clocker reunion was so sweet
4th now that it has happened and is over we have to use the past tense, and that makes me sad and happy
Also, @cherrifire how did you DO THAT (in reference to thumbnail and spoilers) The animation and thumbnails were stunning btw

I had this idea over on Twitter, and I want to bring it here. Anywayss.
So we all know the idea of Limited Life being seen as a bunch of kids playing a game at a playground. And the kids who die and "run out of time" are just the kids who are being picked up to go home. By this thought, that means the so-called winner is the last kid to go home.
Those who have seen it already know Martyn has won. So Martyn, the winner, is the last to leave the playground. So, Martyn is there alone, waiting to be picked up.
And if you want an even angster thought to that. Martyn could be waiting there alone for someone who might never come.

I'm 2 minutes into Grian's video and he just died in the same way twice. How did this man win 3rd life
And now his alliance with martyn has betrayed him, the person he trusted the most stabbed him in the back.
And it wasn’t even a kill for time, martyn was given the option of a fair fight between him and Scott and even then that wasn’t enough. Martyn didn’t respect him enough to give Scott a fair fight.
Scott trusted him, and in the end it didn’t matter. Nothing matters. He’s always viewed as less than, a sacrifice. useful right now but just as easily discarded. The kind and generous soul that gives everything he can, even to those who don’t deserve it.
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
Something about how most of the times Scott has died was to give someone else time (I think)
Something about Scott feeling like a rug from everybody using him for his time, only seeing value in himself when someone needs it from him
Something about him literally making a game show out of it to make it feel less de-humanizing
Something about scott only asking for love in return (like from Jimmy), only to be met with silence and a stab in the back
Something about that being Scott’s breaking point, and him deciding that he’s done giving others his life, instead choosing to take it himself.
