How I think the straw hats sleep when they have company (romantic or platonic)
Luffy
Wraps himself around you
You are NOT moving for a while
Snores, unless you prop him up right
Likes to cuddle, will whine if you say no (unless you look like super uncomfortable, emotionally aware king love that)
Mans has no thoughts of personal space. He wants to be close ALL THE TIMe
Will talk your ear off as he’s wrapped around you. Yes both arms and legs if it’s comfortable.
Tried to listen to you too, but will probs fall asleep. He doesn’t mean to be rude, bro is just tired and happy your with him.
Warm, but wiggles a lot.
After Marineford, he’s especially clingy. Has nightmares about it and only sleeps well if he knows his crew is safe and close by.
Please comfort him and tell him that the crew is safe, that he is safe.
Will drag you off for a nap if he’s tired. Or just falls asleep on top of you.
Will wake you up in the middle of the night to spout off random shit. Then fall back asleep. Or he’s going to try and grab a snack. Sanji is not pleased when the fridge is dented from this attempt.
Please make a deal with him to shower more. Your nose will think you.
Zoro
Dude also needs a shower
Likes to work out and then have a nap
Doesn’t like to admit it but prefers when your around for both of these activities
Enjoys flexing while training and then relaxing with a nap with one of his favorite people on the ship
If he stinks, MAKE HIM BATHE. Bro is STINKY and needs to scrub more. After he washes then it’s nap time. That’s the deal.
Nami thanks you for this
It started with just napping around you, then slowly leaning onto you.
Neither of you make a big deal out of it, more for his sake then yours. He’s embarrassed to admit he’s soft for your time together.
Not a huge talker, but is very good a listening.
Gives advice if he thinks you want it, but will sit and listen if you need to get stuff off your chest.
Is a little jealous you can do so with ease (in his mind). He’s too caught up being strong for the crew that he forgets that he’s allowed to just be Zoro, not Pirate Hunter or King of Hell Zoro.
Snores a little, but not super loud. Place his head on your shoulder or lap and he’s OUT. May even curl an arm or leg around you if he feels like it.
Nami
Not used to co-sleeping
Sleeps with a weapon close by due to her past with Arlong. This doesn’t change, only the location of the weapon does.
Particular about her sleep. Has a routine and everything.
Expects you to hold yourself to a certain standard if your sleeping in the same room as her (you’ll have to work up to cuddling).
Will gift you nice pjs, soaps, blankets, things like that.
Gets hot easily, but hates being too cold.
Will fall asleep at her nap desk. Please pick her up and tuck her into bed.
That’s how it starts probably. She holds onto you in her sleep and mumbles something you can’t make out. You wait and get a quiet “stay…don’t go”. You stay.
This happens a few more times before your invited into her bed. You slept on the floor before to avoid making her uncomfortable.
Refuses to admit that she likes being the little spoon, but she has the best sleep when she feels safe and protected by someone she trusts deeply.
Likes to nap in the sun under her trees with you. The warmth and the smell of the fruit is relaxing.
Doesn’t ask you to nap, just expects you to agree. Drags you to nap when she’s had a bad day.
Please just hold her for a bit and listen to her rant about stuff. She appreciates it more then you’ll ever know.
Usopp
Tries to act chill when you fall asleep on him for the first time.
Is smiling while trying to act annoyed like it’s an inconvenience (he feels so happy do NOT believe him)
Another one to fall asleep while creating. If you can’t pull him away wrap a blanket around him and place a pillow under his head.
Usopp is a lonely guy, considering he didn’t really have any friends before the straw hats (not including the Usopp pirates and Kaya).
If feels nice to be chosen
Likes to tell you stories (real and make believe) as your winding down to sleep.
Lights up when you smile or laugh because of him.
Makes it his goal to make you smile at least once before the end of the day. Even if it’s just an eye smile, he knows he’s made you happy, and that makes him happy.
LOVES late night talks. Doesn’t matter what it’s about. He’s happy to spend time with you.
Does his best not to wake you up in the morning if your not ready to wake up. Will save you some food (from Luffy) if your not awake yet.
Will be thinking of stories all day to tell you. Of course he tells the rest of the crew, mainly Chopper and Luffy, as well. But your late night talks hold a special place in his heart and day.
Is forever grateful you chose him as your best friend.
Sanji
Another one who has a hard time accepting affection (Zoro, and Robin too).
Happens after he has a nightmare about his family (this feels familiar ha).
You catch him up super late and ask him what’s wrong.
He doesn’t tell you right away (especially if it’s before Whole Cake) and gives a vague explanation of having a hard time sleeping.
You offer to help, and for some reason (sleep deprivation due to stress) he agrees.
You bring him back to bed and hold him. He’s not used to being held and take a bit to relax and get comfortable. The last time someone held him like this was either Zeff or his mom. Probably his mom.
This repeats for about a week before he starts seeking you out. He’s embarrassed about it at first but can’t deny he does sleep better with you around.
At some point, you start waking up with him and keeping him company while he makes breakfast. Whether you help him or not depends on what he’s making.
You keep him entertained while he cooks, and he makes you a little extra as a thank you.
Of course he’ll deny this if you bring it up, so if you want extra, just enjoy it.
He may tell you more about his dreams as time goes on, but nothing huge until you actually meet his family. Then he doesn’t even need to tell you, you just know when he’s having a hard time and step up the comfort.
He’s grateful to have such a wonderful crew to call his own.
I’ll probably do a part 2 with the rest of the straw hats later, but I’m tired and want to post this already. The straw hats deserve some comfort with all that trauma.
I have a desire to write but the ideas are moving to fast in my head lol. My requests are open and I can write full stories/oneshots not just headcannons. I promise i dont bite :]
(This one is intended as platonic because, well...bros a reindeer.)
You got incredibly lucky finding this guy, no matter what time you joined the crew. Since chopper is a doctor he definitely feels like a blessing. As soon as he found out about your allergies he started his research (if he didn't already know about it). Finds a cure or a medicine to help with the symptoms and reactions for your allergies. This precious doctor even warns the other crew about what you can't have near you.
In return for his kindness you are now his designated hiding spot for when shit goes down.
He was definitely curious as to why you were constantly taking medicine or having to stay with chopper since you were unwell. Eventually he just outright asked what was wrong with you. He didn't get it at first but once he did he responded with...let's say an interest?
He loudly makes sure that whenever everyone's eating that the food (if you're allergic to a food) is nowhere near you, but let's be honest he probably eats it before it gets even a metre from you, saying something like "I was just keeping Y/ N safe!" when someone complains about their food being stolen. However, if you're allergic to a specific animal or item he makes sure it non-existent on his ship.
Just like luffy she makes sure the allergen (the thing you're allergic to) is nowhere to be found. Since you mean so much to her she'd be willing to part with some money to pay for medicines or doctors if chopper couldn't help (luckily for nami thats a rare chance).
sorry this ones so short, I've never really written anything for nami before.
If you have a food allergy this man is catering to your every need, making new recipes or even a completely different dish to the rest of the crew if needs be. Oh, you like spaghetti but you're allergic to pasta? Bam, special pasta you're not allergic to, just for you. He can and probably will fight luffy to keep him away from your special food.
If youre allergic to something that isn't food his dramatic ass would probably follow you around in new places to make sure it's not anywhere near you. (and if this gets annoying just give him a compliment, he'll pass out from blood loss and leave you in peace)
When you're allergies are bad and it leaves you bed ridden, sniffling or coughing, he'll tell you stories just like he did with kaya. You'll be laying in bed, cursing your allergies while trying to not break your ribs from laughing at ussops silly tales. He always makes you feel much better.
He probably didn't even know what an allergy was lmao. Maybe he thought it was some sort of pest (close enough)
If youre allergic to food we already know sanji will be making sure you're safe but zoro is definitely jealous that he can't do anything about it....unless.... if you guys are on a new island and you're not sure if your food has your allergen in it, zoro is the first to offer his help (well, it was luffy first but we all know what would happen).
If your allergen isn't food, just like sanji, he's following you around but he's definitely more of a silent protector compared to sanji. A plant you're allergic to in your path? not on his watch, it's cut down before you can even think of how to get around it.
Let me know if you have any tips or if there's any mistakes!

♦︎a/n: i was bored and decided to make a drabble for Stoner! reader whose a Strawhat. but I got carried away, so it's pretty much a bunch of scenarios I thought of for the past few days!
Stoner! Reader who is so relaxed and mellow almost to the point of concern from the crew.
Luffy asked you to join the crew because of how stealthy and undetectable you were. Given the fact that you were a feared Assassin and Hitman, but once everyone got to know you as a person, they questioned how you were able to become one of the world's greatest assassins.
I like to think that Sanji's never smoked weed before, mainly because cigarettes are easier to come by, but he'd definitely be willing to try it atleast once.
You convinced Usopp to smoke with you every once in a while, thinking it'll mellow him out. But the first time he ever smoked with you, he was so paranoid, he nearly threw himself overboard. Ever since then he's been apprehensive about the bud.
Despite that fact you've taken him under your wing as your prodigy, teaching him all the tricks and shortcuts when it comes to rolling up a blunt.
----
You find yourself sitting on a crate, a freshly rolled blunt in your hands, and a mischievous glint in your eye. Usopp is nearby, tinkering with one of his gadgets, when you decide to call him over. "Hey, Usopp," you say, patting the spot next to you. "Come here for a sec." He looks up, already wary. "What is it, Y/N? Another one of your crazy theories?"
You shake your head, chuckling. "Nah, nah. Today my friend, I’m going to teach you the art of crafting the perfect blunt." Usopp sighs, a look of exasperation crossing his face. "Do I have to?" You grin, patting the crate again. "Trust me, it’s worth learning. Come on, sit down."
With a dramatic sigh, Usopp takes a seat beside you. "Alright, fine. But if Chopper catches us, it’s on you." You laugh, shaking your head. "Don’t worry, he’s busy checking on Zoro. Now, pay attention." You pull out your supplies, laying them out with the precision of a seasoned craftsman. "See, the art of weed is the craftsmanship that goes into making the right blunt and perfecting your technique."
Usopp side-eyes you, a look of a disapproving mother gracing his face. "You act like this is a science project..." You smirk, your hands moving with practiced ease. "I like to think that it is. Now, first, you’ve got to break up the weed just right. Not too fine, but not too chunky either."
Usopp watches, his skepticism slowly giving way to curiosity. "Okay, so what’s next?" You continue, your hands deftly maneuvering the rolling paper. "Next, you spread it evenly. This part’s crucial. Too much on one side, and it’ll burn unevenly." Usopp leans in, his interest piqued despite himself. "Alright, I see. And then?"
You carefully roll the paper, tucking it neatly before licking the edge to seal it. "Then you roll it up, nice and tight. Not too tight, though. You want it to have a bit of give." He nods, clearly impressed despite his initial reluctance. "Okay, I think I get it."
You hand him the blunt, a proud smile on your face. "And there you go, your very own blunt!" He takes it gingerly, inspecting your handiwork. "Thanks, Y/N. I guess it is kind of like a science project."
You laugh, clapping him on the back. "Told you. Now, go enjoy it when you’re ready. Just remember to relax and have fun with it." As Usopp walks away, you can’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Teaching him something new, even something as unconventional as rolling a blunt, brings a smile to your face.
----
Despite the fact that you're always higher than a kite, Sanji trusts you in the kitchen without his supervision. Something you take advantage of, as one morning you found or yourself whipping it up in the kitchen.
Sanji doesn't usually intrude on your time in the kitchen but he's often curious about what you're up to.
----
You’re deeply engrossed in your task, the rhythmic stirring almost meditative. The scent of the simmering mixture fills the room, a sweet aroma with a hint of something extra. A few silicon candy molds are on the counter, some filling with assorted gummy mixtures. You hum to yourself, content in the quiet moment.
Sanji strolls into the kitchen, his usual suave demeanor intact. He stops short when he sees you at the counter, a curious smile playing on his lips. "Well, well, if it isn’t our resident assassin turned chef. What are you making, Y/N?"
You glance up, a mischievous glint in your eye. "Gummies," you say simply, returning to your task.
Sanji approaches, peering over your shoulder with interest. "Oh, these look perfect. I have to say, I’m impressed with your craftsmanship." You smile lightly, appreciating the compliment from the ship’s renowned chef. "Much thanks my dude, I've been into candy making for years! I like to think I'm sorta an expert at this."
Sanji reaches for one of the gummies, curiosity evident in his eyes. "Mind if I try one?" Before his fingers can make contact, you swiftly intercept his hand. "Woah there tiger! Uh, I wouldn’t do that if I were you." He raises an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? Why is that?"
You shift a bit, a sheepish smile tugging at your lips. "They’re, uh, special. Unless you wanna see music and taste colors, you might wanna wait for my next jar..."
Sanji blinks, realization dawning on his face. He bursts into laughter, shaking his head in amusement. "Edibles, huh? I should have guessed." You grin, shrugging nonchalantly. "What can I say? It’s a versatile ingredient."
He laughs again, clearly entertained by the situation. "Well, as much as I appreciate your culinary creativity, maybe we should keep these out of the reach of certain crewmates. I don’t think Luffy needs any more reasons to act crazy."
You nod in agreement, a chuckle escaping you. "Yeah, probably a good idea. The last thing we need is Luffy on a sugar high and an edible trip." Sanji pats your shoulder, still chuckling. "You're definitely right, just remember to label the jars, alright?"
You give him a mock salute. "Aye, aye, Chef." With a final laugh, Sanji heads back to his own devices, leaving you to finish your batch of gummies.
----
You tend to get really philosophical and scientific when you're high. You and Robin having long conversations about the human minds or the prospect of alternate realities.
Robin was just happy to have someone to share her thoughts with who could comprehend it, even if you were in the clouds.
Sometimes you just do it for fun because you find Usopp's panicked reactions funny.
----
The moon hangs high in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the Thousand Sunny. The crew is gathered on the deck, the usual mix of chatter and laughter filling the air. You’re sitting cross-legged, a freshly lit blunt between your fingers, enjoying the cool night breeze. You take a deep drag, exhaling slowly as your thoughts begin to swirl. "You guys ever think about parallel dimensions?"
Chopper chimes in to the sound of your voice, and tilts his head, clearly intrigued. "Parallel dimensions?"
You nod, a mischievous grin spreading across your face. "Yeah, like, what if there are other versions of us out there, living different lives in other worlds? And what if we could, like, cross over into those dimensions?"
Usopp, who had been quietly listening, suddenly perks up, a look of alarm spreading across his face. "Wait, cross over? Is that even possible?" Chopper, ever the worrier, looks equally concerned. "Y/N, are you sure that’s not just the weed talking?"
You wave a hand dismissively, your words spilling out in a rapid, excited torrent. "Nah, nah, think about it! We could totally cross over if we found the right way. Maybe through some kind of portal or a wormhole or something. I read in a book that some people have crossed over through mirrors!...or maybe that was a cult pamphlet..."
Nami, sensing the rising panic, tries to calm everyone down. "Alright, everyone, let’s not jump to conclusions. Y/N’s just... speculating." She had to admit the idea was intriguing but just as scary. Luffy, eyes wide with fascination, is clearly enjoying the conversation. "That sounds so cool! I wonder what other Luffy is like."
Usopp, on the other hand, is not having it. He's been through too much with this crew already, the idea of alternate realities had his mind spiraling. "No, no, no, we do not need to think about that! What if there are evil versions of us out there? Or worse, what if we get stuck in another dimension?"
Sanji steps in, trying to de-escalate the situation. "Okay, okay, let’s all take a breath. Y/N-san is just having a bit of fun with some wild ideas. There’s no need to panic." You lean back, clearly amused by the reactions you’re getting. "Come on, guys, it’s just a thought. But wouldn’t it be cool if we did find a way? Imagine all the crazy shit we could get into!"
Chopper’s eyes widen further. "But what if something goes wrong? What if we end up in a dimension where everything is upside down?"
Robin, who has been quietly observing, decides to join in, her tone calm and measured. "The concept of parallel dimensions and the multiverse is quite fascinating. If multiple dimensions do exist, it’s possible they could collapse into a single timeline under certain conditions."
Laughing in morbid delight, you turn to face Robin, a nearly manic smile on your face. "That would be freaking wicked, like what if all of our alternate bodies collapsed and fused into one singular body? Would we be able to retain the information our other selves have learned?"
A look of horror crossed Usopp's face, his knees visibly shaken."Oh great, now we’re talking about collapsing timelines? Can we please discuss something less terrifying?" He drops to his knees, hands clasped in front of him in a comically exaggerated plea. "I’m begging you, let’s change the subject!"
You can’t help but laugh at his theatrics, your low eyes shining with amusement. "Relax, Usopp. It’s all hypothetical. We’re not actually going to start dimension-hopping."
Luffy, still thoroughly entertained, claps his hands. "I think it’s awesome! I bet other Luffy is just as strong as me." Sanji sighs, rubbing his temples. "Luffy, please, let’s not encourage this any further." You take another puff, leaning back with a contented sigh. "Alright, alright, we’ll drop it. But you have to admit, it’s fun to think about."
Nami, visibly relieved, gives you a grateful smile. "Thanks, Y/N. I don't think Usopp’s heart can take much more excitement tonight." Usopp, still looking a bit shaken, nods vigorously. "Yeah, let’s stick to talking about normal things. Like treasure hunting or navigating the Grand Line."
Zoro, who has been blissfully unaware of the entire conversation, shifts in his sleep, muttering something unintelligible. You chuckle, shaking your head at his obliviousness.
----
Even when you're high, you have moments where you're really attentive to your friend's feelings.
You don't like seeing your friends feels down, and even if you can't fix all of their problems with a blunt, sometimes just being their for them is all they really need.
----
You notice Nami sitting alone, her usual confident demeanor replaced by a thoughtful frown. You take a seat beside her, offering her one of your expertly rolled blunts. "Not in the mood," she says, waving it away.
You shrug, lighting it for yourself. "You know, Nami, life is kind of like a blunt." She raises an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued despite herself. "Oh really? How so?"
You take a slow drag, letting the smoke curl around you. "Well, you start with the raw materials. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. But it's what you do with it that matters. You roll it up, make it your own. And then you light it up, and you enjoy the ride."
Nami stares at you for a moment before bursting into laughter. "That's the most ridiculous metaphor I've ever heard." You grin, pleased to see her spirits lifted. "Hey, if it works, it works." She shakes her head, still chuckling. "Thanks, Y/N, needed that."
----
Just like he is with Sanji, Chopper is against you smoking especially to your extent.
Although he does know that weed has medicinal properties, he knows that too much of it can have negative affects on your mind.
----
After a particularly rough fight, you find yourself in the Going Merry’s infirmary, Chopper diligently patching you up. The little reindeer works with precision, wrapping bandages around your arm while his expression shifts between focus and concern.
“There, all done,” Chopper announces, finishing the last wrap. “This medicine will help with the pain,” he adds, turning to grab a small bottle from a nearby shelf.
You watch him, a mischievous grin slowly spreading across your face. As he turns his back, you pull out three blunts, placing them in your mouth with practiced ease.
When Chopper turns back, his eyes go wide with shock. “Y/N! What are you doing!?” he exclaims, hands on his hips, his voice a mix of exasperation and disbelief.
You freeze, caught in the act, and offer him a sheepish grin. "It's medicinal?"
Chopper facepalms, shaking his head in exasperation. “You can’t just say that every time!”
You chuckle, taking one of the blunts out and twirling it between your fingers. “Hey, I promise it helps me relax. Besides, your medicine is great, but this is my kind of therapy.”
He lets out a deep sigh, and goes it open a window to air out the room. Before he turns back to you, his stern facade softening slightly as he looks at you. “You're lucky Marijuana actually has medicinal properties, just don’t overdo it, okay?”
You nod, winking at him. “No worries, Chopper. I’ll save some for you next time.” He blushes, clearly flustered. “I don’t smoke!” Laughing, you pat him on the head. “I know, I know. Just messing with you, Doc.”
Chopper huffs but smiles, the tension easing as you both settle into the moment. The infirmary is quiet, a stark contrast to the chaos outside. You take a moment to appreciate the calm, even as you fiddle with the blunts in your hand.
“So, Doc,” you say, breaking the silence, “how long you think it'll take me to heal this time?”
Chopper’s expression shifts to one of concern. “Since you're injuries aren't too bad, you shouldn't be bedridden for too long. You really should be more careful, Y/N.”
You nod, knowing he’s right. “Yeah, I know. Sometimes I can't help it though, I just get in the moment and half of the time I don't even notice I've been hit when I fight.” He rolls his eyes but can’t help but chuckle. “You’re impossible, but you're not invincible.” You shrug, lighting one of the blunts and taking a long drag. “I like to think that I am, that's part of my charm, right?” Chopper shakes his head, a fond smile tugging at his lips. “Yeah, I suppose it is.”
As the smoke curls around you, the door to the infirmary swings open, and Usopp pokes his head in. “Hey, is Y/N—” He pauses, eyes widening at the sight of you with multiple blunts.
“Oh, come on!” Usopp exclaims, throwing his hands up in mock despair. “Are you serious right now?”
You grin, exhaling a cloud of smoke. “What? It’s all part of the recovery process.” Usopp crosses his arms, trying to maintain a stern expression but failing as a smirk breaks through. “You’re unbelievable.” Chopper sighs, looking between you and Usopp. “She’s always like this. Just try to keep her in check, okay?”
You laugh, waving them off. “Relax, guys. I’m fine.” Usopp chuckles, shaking his head as he turns to leave. “Yeah yeah, just take it easy.”
You watch him go, then turn back to Chopper, who’s busy organizing his supplies. “You know, I really appreciate you, Chopper. Thanks for always patching me up.” Chopper looks up, his eyes softening. “It’s my job, Y/N. But try not to make it harder than it has to be.” You nod, the humor in your eyes giving way to sincerity. “I’ll try, Doc. Promise.”

_________________________________________
Sometimes you questionhow the hell you allowed this man to make you join his crew. How the hell did you fall in love with him too?
1. You gotta fight for the food on your plate like it wasn't served to you specifically.
2. Your captain be up to some dumb shit half the time. He legit sees the most dangerous looking island and wants to explore it. Like. No. I do not consent.
3. Though you both love each other and would do anything to keep each other safe and happy , ain't no way you about to make me pay that much money for the restaurant bill, I'm in enough debt with Nami. I'll still try to pay a little though. Just because I love you.
Sometimes Luffy be ready do the most outrageous things and all it takes is one look for him to back down. Sometimes he takes it as a challenge. This leads tothe most catastrophic day for the whole crew.
But the one thing is for sure, when this man sees you rocking the battlefield he be that guy who's cheering you on in the corner.
Two words. Nap buddies. Y'all be sleeping everywhere. Bed, deck, aquarium, crow's nest, random persons house, anywhere. That's when you're tired though.
Most times it's Zoro training and you watching every muscle tense, sweat dripping down slowly over delicious abs and the sound of grunts accompanying that. But your eyes wouldn't be fixed on that.
"How the hell are your boobs bigger than mine?" You randomly say one day as he's training.
Man dropped the weight he was lifting just too look at you like:
The moment he's done training you push him towards the bathroom for a good bath cause ain't no way you sleeping next to a sweaty man during the hottest days sailing across the Grandline. Throwing in that soap and water with love of course. Maybe even join, you never know.
When he gets lost he always finds you somehow. No one knows but everyone accepted it and knew that if they can't find him now he'll be by your side later on. If y'all leave him on an island by accident that's another issue.
Though he doesn't act romantic most of the time he tries. He's so babygurl. He'll get you anything you like. Does little things to show he does care. Man would even carry you for a while across a desert just because you were a bit tired. Gets flustered at the attention you give him .
Would have a proud smirk whenever you mopped the floor with someone in a fight. In fact he'd feel sorry for the person you were gonna fight with.
If you were normally someone who didn't prefer fighting or couldn't fight at a high level of skill then he'd do his best to protect your ass. Maybe even teach you how to sword fight.
The workaholic x the carefree
Funnily enough sometimes y'all would have a workload that might be just as the same amount but while he's stressing about it and completing his work you're out exploring the joys of life and appreciating nature.
And at the end of the day you come back to do the work and you're done within an hour or so. Which leaves this man looking at you like
Sometimes you just randomly say something that pops up in your mind. It just happens. At first he was irritated with that habit until he noticed you don't do it unless you're with people you're comfortable with. Still doesn't stop the fact that he's ready to throw you off the Polar Tang.
"Why are you sitting like that?" He asked as you guys are in the middle of a town's shopping district.
"I'm trying to assert dominance." Said that with a serious face. Guess how you were sitting...
I feel as though many would tell him to his face that he looks like a drug dealer.
"But he's a doctor."
It's the same thing just legal.
All in all y'all don't need to help each other in a fight. You need distance.
1. You don't wanna end up in some rando's body.
2. It would be a mess if y'all fought in the same place.
I feel like it would start off as flirty friendship.
Y'all just randomly complimenting each other. Hyping each other up. Defendimg each other.
May or not be based of my friendship with someone but she'd probably wack your butt atleast once, just because it's there and it was right in front of her.
People may think the both of you are in a relationship even.
Like average convo would be like
You: Why's it so hot all of a sudden, it was raining seconds ago.
Nami: Cause you graced the Grandline with your presence gurl.
You: Nah it's cause it can't handle how gorgeous you are.
On a more serious-ish note, y'all would be a crazy fun trio with Ussop. Literally the first people to run out of dangerous situations.
Luckily you were atleast able to fight on the chance of someone really strong going after you guys. Ussop would be defence. Nami would be a bit of both.
Sometimes you, Robin, Nami, Ussop and maybe even Chopper would sit in the women's quarters and talk about anything and everything. Literally gossip, latest news over the transponder snail, anything.
But overtime that would change a bit between y'all. Not too much though.
If anyone came close to flirting with you besides her she would either;
1. If they owed her money she'd triple the interest.
2. Pull you away smoothly
Sometimes she'd even make your debt go up just by talking about someone you find attractive. Like...gurl why, I'm broke enough.
When she finally confesses it's almost like...was there ever a difference? Because the both of you loved each other since you got to know one another. Both you are queens when it comes to ruling people's heart's with just a glance. But all you need is each other, maybe some cash too.
Can't say you guys got along in the first place with her working with Crocodile but once she had joined the crew you began to warm up around each other.
Most times you'd read together. Or you would ask about what she read about and all the things she knows about history.
Other times she'd want to hear what's on your mind be it you talking for a little or spilling out word vomit about everything and anything on your mind and she'd only look on with a gentle, loving smile.
Sometimes you worked together to scare your crewmates. Either her saying something like "We could actually die here." in the worst moment possibele, much to Ussop's dismay and you would add to that. Eyebags and everything and be like," what if we already are and we don't realise it."
Which leads to a small debate since the crew had gone through so much and all.
One thing I would definitely know for a fact is that the moment Robin was free and the moment you caught sight of Spandam, death would have been merciful compared to what you two did to that man.
All in all, you and Robin would be like a love as calm as sitting together reading one book in the same blankets while there's a storm outside
One piece x GN!Reader. (Sabo, Nami, Luffy, Zoro, Sanji). Fluff. 1265 words total. You meet them after a long time and jump into their arms from a cliff.
“Ahhh…” You haven’t seen your lover in so long. You miss them, though that should be obvious. On the bright side, they are coming soon. So here you sit at the top of a cliff, waiting for them to show up when you spot something, someONE. It’s them!
“They should be here somewhere..” Sabo mumbles to himself, carrying his pipe in his hand just in case you’ve been ambushed by some sort of enemy or animal.
“SABOOO!” There’s a yell and he looks up to see you on the cliff, his eyes brightening. You aren’t in trouble.
“(Y/n) you’re hhEERE!?” His voice cracks louder as you happily jump off the cliff. Now you are. His eyes go wide and he runs to you, his heart calming quickly to focus on catching you. He’s got experience in unexpected behaviors from both being a revolutionary and because of a certain rubber boy. He drops his pipe to the ground and catches you, stepping back from the impact, and to make sure you feel none of it. Once you’re safe and smiling at him he sighs in both relief and exasperation. “You could’ve at least given me a better warning.”
“Sorry, I was excited.” You can do this again, just tell him next time.
“Stupid forest.” The navigator mumbles to herself as she walks through the trees.
“Nami!!” Her name is called out and she looks up.
“Oh you’re up there. Ugh how am i going to get up there.” She grumbles, then cups her hands around her mouth. “(Y/n) is there a way down from there!?”
“Yeah!” You yell back.
“Okay come down from th-” You jump off the cliff and her jaw drops. ‘They did not just do that.’ She thinks to herself, quickly going to denial. ‘This isn’t happening.’ Nami goes pale as you fall because this is, in fact, happening. Not only did you jump, you jumped when you aren’t going to survive from that height; or at the very least you’ll get injured. She can’t just let you fall to teach you a lesson, and no one else is around her to catch you instead. Nami curses and pulls out her baton, creating as thick a cloud as she can to soften your fall. You finally land on the soft cloud, the bumped thick water sheet stretching and breaking your fall. Unfortunately, you still end up through it and onto her, sending you both to the ground. She pants, still processing, yet you sit up with a smile like nothing bad happened.
“Nami I-” She sits up and bonks you on the head hard. “ACK”
“Get off me.” Uh oh, she’s really mad. You shimmy off of her and she clenches her jaw. “You are UNBELIEVABLE. Do you think you’re made of rubber!? Just gonna bounce off!? I’m never coming to get you again. I swear Luffy has been a bad influence on you and the BOTH of you are sooo in trouble when we get back.” She scolds you for almost 10 minutes, then you and Luffy back on the ship for another 10; when the captain cracks up at what you did he adds another 5. Never try that again. Ever.
“(Y/n)!! Hello!??” His voice sounds impatient as he bounces on his feet. He can’t help it, he’s been away from you for so long, longer than he’d ever allow usually if it wasn’t so important… “Hmmmmm..” There’s a frown on his face as he scans his surroundings.
“UP HERE!” You yell and he looks up at you, eyes shining as a big smile replaces his previous frown.
“(Y/N)!” On the same wavelength, you jump down right as he stretches his arms out to get to you. “WOAH!” He’s caught off guard for a second before he manages to grip onto your shoulders instead of the cliff, smashing your bodies together at high speeds. He falls onto his back,
Boing boing boing
but he’s rubber, so it only makes him bounce a few times before you both settle onto the forest floor. Luffy sits up and adjusts his hat. “Phew!” His eyes lock onto yours and he grins happily. “Gotcha!” His voice is cheerful as he laughs, everything is sunshine in his head so you can do that as much as you want. It’ll be fun! Though it’s really who does it first.
Zoro walks through the forest, obviously lost. He pushes through some bushes and finds the cliff you were supposed to meet at instead, but he’s on the ground from it and not on it. “The hell, this map is useless.” He curses as he looks down at the perfectly drawn map with clear directions that a child could follow.
“HEYY!!” He hears your voice from above and looks up.
“The witch drew this map badly! Wait there I’ll get to you!” He yells at you confidently.
‘He is NOT making it up here.’ You think to yourself. “I’ll just come to you!” Yelling back, you step back to gain momentum. Then, before he can tell you he’s got it, you jump off the cliff towards him. His eyes go wide.
“YOU DUMBASS YOU AREN’T RUBBER!” He tosses the map to the floor and puts his arms out. “Shit!” He makes sure he’s in the right spot, then catches you. The impact makes him quickly step back, only not falling from the strength he’s honed so much. Once you’re both safe he drops you onto the ground.
“Ow!” You fall on your butt. “I didn’t even get to give you a kiss first.” You deflate and Zoro looks down at you, clearly not pleased.
“Too bad for pulling that stupid stunt. Walk yourself.” He’s about to turn and start walking when he feels sad eyes digging into the back of his head. “ugh..”
“You didn’t miss me?” At your words he turns back to look at you, still frowning but his anger cracking.
“Obviously but you-”
“You don’t wanna kiss me? Are we nothing now?”
“You..!” He clenches his teeth, looking into your eyes. It’s not long before he breaks, combing a hand through his hair in annoyance. He walks over and picks you up. “There.” You give him a kiss. Even if it pissed him off, it doesn’t take much for him to get over it. Plus, it lets him show off his strength a little by catching you easily.
Sanji walks around, hurried and looking everywhere in the vicinity. His (Y/n) sensors are going off so he knows you’re somewhere here, he just doesn’t know where you are. “Sanji!” His head snaps to where he heard your voice, up on the cliff.
“My love!” He jumps up and starts to air walk to you, a smile on his face. That’s quickly wiped off once he’s about half way there when you jump down. “LOVE!?” He goes pale and manages to catch you in his arms but you throw him off balance from the unexpectedness of it, Sanji having to lower himself with each step back until both feet are on the ground. You pull your head back to look at him with a big smile.
“You caught me!”
“Of course I’d catch you!” He says with an relieved tone, giving you a peck on the lips as he puts you down. “But please don’t ever do that again, just wait for me to go up. You almost gave me a heart attack.” He’s still a little pale, putting a hand on his heart. Be nice to him.
:p. Did it. I always have specific scenarios in my head and decided to do some with some random characters. You have no idea how much i wanted to make a "LUFFFYYYYYY!" Zoro scream joke reference in Zoro's. But i held back.

Smoke curled upward from the scorched ruins of the Marine testing island. The sky was dim, bleeding orange as the sun tried and failed to burn away the choking clouds.
They found your body beneath the collapsed structure—arms still raised like you were shielding the others even in death.
It wasn’t the injuries that broke them. It was the look on your face.
Peaceful.
Like you knew.
ONE WEEK EARLIER.
"These weapons..." Franky said, examining the diagrams. "They’re worse than anything Vegapunk ever dreamed up. They’re built to erase islands."
“And they’re testing them here?” Nami’s voice trembled with disbelief.
Usopp peered over the map. “That’s not all. Some of this... it’s Poneglyph script. These freaks are mixing history with firepower.”
You didn’t say anything.
You just stared at the map. Quiet. Calm. Like a storm on the horizon no one else had seen yet.
“We have to stop this,” you said.
Of course, everyone agreed.
But none of them saw what you saw. None of them realized the cost yet.
Not even you.
THE BATTLE.
The Straw Hats split into teams. Luffy and Zoro drew the front lines away. Robin sabotaged the comms. Brook and Jinbei distracted the guards. Chopper tended to wounded civilians trying to escape.
You were supposed to go in with Franky and Usopp.
You didn’t.
You slipped away the moment they weren’t looking, whispering your last words to Nami before disappearing into the smoke.
“I trust you. Don’t look back.”
You found the core buried deep underground.
A thrumming vault of seastone and ancient script, glowing with stolen knowledge and raw destruction.
You knew what it meant.
You could read the Poneglyph fragments embedded in the weapons.
You knew what would happen if they were activated.
So you made a choice.
A selfish, irreversible choice.
You overloaded the core.
THE AFTERMATH.
When the blast hit, it carved a crater into the earth.
Luffy felt it first—his scream carried across the island like a cannon blast. “(Y/N)!!”
Franky’s stomach dropped. He bolted toward the smoke, ignoring everything—orders, pain, fire.
Usopp followed. Nami, too. She didn’t even speak. Her Clima-Tact sparked wildly, emotions bleeding into weather.
They dug with bare hands and bleeding fingers.
And finally, they found you.
Still. Burned. Crushed.
But unmistakably you.
And unmistakably gone.
THE SUNNY.
Franky hadn’t spoken in two days.
He sat in the engine room, back turned to everyone, arms blackened with soot and oil. He worked until his hands bled, building gods knew what.
Chopper had tried to check on him. Franky didn’t even look up.
Usopp wandered the deck in silence, eyes red, mouth dry. He hadn’t told a single story since they left the island.
He’d tried. He opened his mouth once to make a joke, and nothing came out.
So he just sat with your grave marker, talking to it like you were there.
And Nami—Nami was broken in a way no one had ever seen.
She didn’t cry loudly. She didn’t scream. She just shut down.
She went days without food. Sat curled in the crow’s nest, staring out to sea, clutching the note you left her in your final moments.
"Don’t look back."
She hated you for it.
She loved you for it.
She never stopped shaking.
NIGHT.
Luffy stood by the railing, his hat pulled low, wind in his face.
Sanji stood beside him in silence.
“You knew they were gonna die,” Luffy said suddenly. His voice wasn’t angry. It was hollow.
Sanji lit a cigarette, fingers shaking. “I knew they weren’t coming back.”
Luffy didn’t answer.
“They saved all of us,” Sanji added after a long pause.
“I didn’t want saving,” Luffy whispered.
Then he turned and walked away.
FRANKY.
The machine he was building exploded.
He didn’t flinch.
Robin found him hours later, crouched beside the wreckage, staring into space.
“They’d have slapped me for this,” he said quietly.
Robin knelt beside him. “For what?”
“For not stopping them.”
“They knew what they were doing.”
“That doesn’t make it easier.”
Robin placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. “It never does.”
USOPP.
He buried the dials you used in a small, unmarked box.
Every trap you helped him design, every gadget you tweaked. Gone. Hidden away like a secret.
“I’m never going to be that brave,” he whispered.
Then he broke.
Ugly, shaking sobs that echoed across the deck.
NAMI.
She didn’t speak for three days.
Then, she found Franky. Slammed him into a wall.
“You let them go alone!” she screamed.
Franky didn’t fight back. “I know.”
“YOU PROMISED—YOU PROMISED ME THEY’D COME BACK—!”
He wrapped his arms around her mid-swing, held her as she sobbed, her fists pounding against his chest until they were too weak to lift.
ONE WEEK LATER.
Luffy called everyone to the deck.
No one knew why.
When they arrived, they found him standing in front of a small, newly-built monument.
A single beam of the destroyed fortress. Carved with your name.
And beneath it—your jacket. Cleaned. Pressed. Folded neatly.
Luffy didn’t speak.
He didn’t need to.
They stood together. Silent.
One by one, they left offerings.
Sanji placed a bottle of sake.
Robin left a single violet flower.
Chopper tied a string of charms around the wood.
Zoro leaned his sword against it for a moment. A quiet nod of respect.
Brook played a low, mournful tune on his violin.
Jinbei lit a lantern and pushed it into the sea.
Usopp placed a small slingshot on the beam.
Franky left a blueprint.
And Nami… Nami placed your note. The last one you ever wrote.
“Don’t look back.”
She whispered, “I’m going to.”
Then she walked away.
.
.
.
They kept your room the way it was.
No one said it aloud—but they all visited.
Nami would sit on your bed when the nightmares came.
Usopp would fix the shelves you always overloaded with junk.
Franky recharged your tools every week, even though you weren’t there to use them.
And Luffy…
Luffy would sit on the figurehead, facing forward, holding your jacket in his lap.
He never cried where anyone could see.
But the jacket was always warm.
As if it still remembered you.

Mindlessly walking the deck of the Thousand Sunny, you used the rail for balance. With blurred vision, you helplessly caught your breath, gripping the rail like a lifeline as it cut edges into your palm.
Blood didn’t draw, but it pooled at your feet as you sluggishly walked down the stairs.
The moon hung high, and it was nearing 11:00 as the crew kept to themselves and their duties, relaxing in the galley or their designated spots.
The Sunny traveled at night, meaning everyone had to be alert. Shifts were taken and naps were often, though you were left to your senses.
Feeling everything—but nothing at once.
Your nervous system couldn’t tell the difference between being held at gunpoint to the peaceful company of your crew.
It could never make up its mind, and it left you cautious of those around you. Especially Zoro, who you avoided as he rested by the mast.
You carefully, as quietly as you could, stepped down the stairs, faintly making out his form through the dark. His arms were crossed over his lap, protecting his swords even in peace, soundly asleep.
Or so you thought.
Stepping down the last step, your breath hitched.
crk—
A sharp pain ran up your side, making you stagger to grab the rail, fighting yourself as you fought the raw ache in your chest.
You squeezed your shirt, temporarily kneeling, and you knew you had given yourself away. Quickly, you looked up to watch the swordsman—but it was too late.
Zoro didn’t move; he was as silent as a ghost, no longer snoring.
Fuck. Great—he’s awake.
Embarrassed, you fled inside, unaware of the eye that cracked open to watch you. The door swiftly shut, and Zoro sighed, leaning up, muttering something soft under his breath. “Idiot . . .”
You hurried down the hall, passing the kitchen as you ignored soft-talk; limbs burning in protest, with a hand muffling your breath, but you pushed on.
You couldn’t let them see you like this. It wasn’t fair. They hadn’t done anything—it was just you.
It was your problem.
“Your tea, Robin.” Sanji swooned, probably spinning around the table by now. “Ah, thank you,” she smiled, taking the cup. “Hey, where’s my tea?” Usopp grumbled, tinkering with his gadget
“You’ll get in a second.” Sanji replied, then casually, “Chopper, yours.” “Hey—rude! I’m right here, you know!”
You held the wall, slowing down, keeping quiet. But it was damn near impossible to.
“Sanji, I’m hungry!” “I just made you something!” “And since when has that ever worked? He’s an endless pit, bro.”
Suddenly, your hand grazed a painting, and you froze.
“Sooo... about that meat, Sanji?” “Get out of my kitchen!”
“Shh—wait,” Chopper muttered, “did you guys hear that?”
“Hear what?”
With your heart racing, you slipped into the infirmary, going unnoticed. Footsteps came from the galley, and you knew you had to act fast. Tears covered your vision, though a shortcut to the aquarium bar sparked your movement.
You shifted to the hall, exiting from Chopper’s side door—but a familiar hum filled the corridor. Flinching back, you realized it was Brook.
Shit. Shit—Shit.
Impulsively, you left in the opposite direction with your back facing the skeleton. Your shoulders were hunched, and you quietly cried into the palm of your hand.
“Oh, ____! I thought I heard you!” Brook piped, then paused, watching you stumble into the tank room. “Oh, there they go—“
Crashing into the couch, you gasped for air, holding your chest. Dammnit. You couldn’t do this. Too much.
Way, too much.
You loved them with all your heart, and every single of your being—but fuck. There was too much action. Adrenaline coursed through your veins, and you could barely breathe.
A struggled noise escaped you, and you curled into the couch’s armrest. Your limbs ached, tingling as they grew weak, and you muffled a sob, sharply drawing in.
The quiet surrounded you, suffocating you only for a moment, before you realized the room’s lights were on.
Someone else was in here.
“____?” Nami asked, peeking over the couch. “Oh my god, hey,” she worriedly came to meet you, but you’d already bolted up.
“I’m okay,” you rasped, using the wall for leverage. “I’m fine,” you repeated, wiping your eyes.
“Hey—hey, wait,” only getting so far, voices sounded from the door you reached.
You flinched, stepping back—bumping into Nami—you were lost. You didn’t know what to do.
“I knew I heard someone, I figured it was—“
Someone touched your shoulder, and you flinched, covering your ears. You searched for an exit, looking through tears, but there was nothing.
There was so much happening at once.
“___, hey—hold on.”
Voices. Muffled voices, in blurs shapes—you could barely make out what was in front of you. You stepped back, bumping into something, and you couldn’t tell what happened after that.
Your eyes shut.
“Yohoho, there you are!” “I told you they were in here!” “No, you didn’t, you said they were—“
“Oh—You guys, hold on—“
“Stop talking!”
For a moment, you looked for some way out, and a peaceful, single storage closet called to you. You didn’t even hesitate. You bolted.
The door slammed shut, and you crashed into whatever was inside.
Silence shrouded, and objects poked at you. Your head felt like it was going to explode.
With your heart pounding and anxiety raging, you couldn’t think, you couldn’t feel. Only the burning of your nerves, to the shaking in your limbs, was overwhelming.
In the dark, static blurred with reality, and tears covered them all. You felt like it was the end of the world, with everything folding in on you at once.
•~•~•~•
Outside the closet, a room of confused and worried crew members stood still.
“Shh!” Nami hushed, silencing the group. “Be quiet.”
“Sorry!” Chopper whispered, covering his mouth, side-kicking Usopp, who winced.
“Are they okay?” Luffy asked.
“What do you think?” Sanji spoke, physically tensing as the cyborg strolled in. “Yoh! What’s the big—“ A giant hand slapped over Franky’s face, and he nodded, immediately getting the memo.
Robin’s hand disappeared, flurrying into petals, and Zoro silently followed in.
Everyone shared a look, checking the closet, and an understanding passed through. The moment seemed to slow.
Luffy slipped by Nami, sitting beside the door to listen to your panicked breaths. His hat covered his face, and his fist clenched over his knee.
You’d think he was angry, but right now? It was the complete opposite. He was torn.
Another moment passed before Sanji spoke quietly. “What happened?”
“I don’t know,” Nami muttered, “They burst in here, trying to be alone, I think I scared them.” A hand rubbed over her chest, and her eyes softened.
“She was already startled,” Robin murmured, taking a seat on the couch. “I believe it’s a panic attack.”
“Yeah,” Chopper mumbled, lowering himself beside her. The doctor looked to the closet, wishing he were in there with you.
It wasn’t fair that you were alone.
“I wish I’d noticed sooner,” he added quietly,
“You couldn’t have done anything,” Zoro said, leaning against a table, “they were hiding. I saw them sneaking around the deck.”
“Sneaking?” Brook blurted, a little too loudly. The skeleton quickly covered his mouth, ducking to avoid Robin’s hand that sprouted from the wall. He placed a bony hand over his heart, thinking back to earlier, when you’d avoided him.
Realization set in, and he sighed.
“Oh—____, no one deserves to be alone when experiencing something so hard.”
Sanji hummed, his expression growing grim. He leaned against the wall, opposite of Zoro, bringing a cigarette to his lips.
No. No one did. Especially you.
“They were fine earlier,” Usopp whispered, pausing. He looked at his hands, closing them into fists. “I swear, I saw them not even 30 minutes ago, they helped me find a piece for something.”
“They come on fast,” Chopper responded, sniffling. He rubbed his nose, leaning against Robin. “It’s hard to control them when they do, I just... I don’t think they wanted us to see them like this.”
“They avoided me like the plague.” Zoro tsked, crossing his arms. “It’s probably a lot more than that.”
“Well, that’s too bad,” Luffy said firmly,
“They’re a part of this crew—they’re ours. They don’t get to go through this alone, not when we’re here.”
A gentle pause, and the heavy breathing finally stopped. Everyone listened, but only to silence. Nami let out a breath, looking at Robin.
Already acting, the archeologist crossed her arms, muttering a soft; Un Fluer,” and a single hand sprouted from inside the closet.
It gently reached your leg, grounding you with single taps.
You sniffled, blinking through tears, and you hesitated. Through the dark, you saw her hand, and you didn’t know why you froze. Your throat tightened, as if this simple gesture were a grand speech.
Outside, Robin was determined. Her eyes had a focused gentleness to them, and she wouldn’t let this go. She closed her eyes, making her hand reach yours.
It was the gentlest push, but it was needed, and your hand squeezed hers, signaling you were okay.
Robin smiled, reciprocating the gesture. “They’re coming out of it, just give them some time.”
“Fine by me,” Zoro grumbles, taking a seat. “I’ll sit here all night if I have to.”
“For once, I agree with you,” Sanji sighed, blowing out his cigarette. He leaned against the tank, quietly watching the reflection of the glass.
“Uh-huh,” Franky agreed, “we’re super patient, kiddo, take all the time you need.” he plopped down, creating a loud thump, and Nami shook her head at Usopp.
They shared a look, checking the closet.
Clunk
Something fell from inside, as if you were moving, and the crew acted casual. They lounged, creating a soft tension that left it easy to breathe. They made sure not to make you feel small or crowded, even if they were secretly watching.
Another object fell, thumping softly, and a weak “ow” echoed.
Usopp cracked a smile, and so did Luffy. The captain leaned on his left knee, peeking at the door that cracked weakly open.
“Shishi, there you are.” he smiled, “We were worried about‘cha.”
You wiped your eyes, managing a smile, though it wasn’t convincing. It was weak, just a tip of the lips, but it was there.
Papers littered where you sat, with bent boxes and random trinkets—you slowly stretched your legs, leaning against the doorframe.
“Yeah, sorry about the shelves.” You mumbled, looking behind you.
“It’s fine,” Robin assured, as calm as ever. “We didn’t need it anyway. It was just free storage.”
“Yeah,” Franky mentioned, “I was gonna turn that into room space, but you just did the demolition for me.” he laughed, eliciting a few smiles throughout the room.
“I’m just glad you’re not hurt! I heard the crash from upstairs.”
“As did I, you startled us ___.” Brook started, crossing his legs. “Yohoho—it looked rather painful, seeing you so lost.”
“Yeah, it was, I’m sorry you have to go through that.” Usopp said, rubbing the back of his neck, “You don’t have to hide that, though.
“You know we’re here.”
“Mm,” Sanji agreed, “We’re everywhere, whenever you need. Always.”
You nodded, looking at your feet. “Thank you, that... means a lot.”
“I’m sure it does,” Nami hugged her sides, checking the clock. Not out of urgency, but as a reminder. That you, right here, right now—we’re struggling.
12:05am…
This late. And you still tried to hide it.
She was frustrated—not at you, but herself. She’d been the one to startle you further, and that guilt lingered.
Nami—just like everyone else thought, knew this wasn’t fair. Because you were safe: with them, not with whoever made you feel the need to act this way.
To hide, bury your feelings—tune it out till it all boils over, leaving you overwhelmed. Bittersweetly, she smiled.
You reminded her a lot of herself.
“And you’re welcome, but you shouldn’t feel the need to thank us.” “It’s not out of obligation,” she added.
“It never is.”
“We want to be there for you, even if you think something like this is ‘small,’ it’s not. Everything matters, and if you already know it, I, and everyone else, are going to remind you, over and over again—you matter.” Nami walked forward, standing close.
“It doesn’t matter what it is, just tell us. Tell someone. You don’t deserve to suffer alone.”
Luffy stretched, internally relieved—because in his own words, he would’ve said the same thing.
Just . . . Not as Nami-ish.
However, he still had something on his mind, and it was killing his patience to ask you. Luffy nudged your foot with his own, bumping it again as if he were thinking.
“Is that why you hide?” he asked, casually.
“'Cause you're scared?”
Pulling a leg close, you shrugged, knocking his foot back.
“Sometimes,” you admit. “Sometimes it’s like that, when I don’t know what you’ll say, or how you’ll react. Or, I just don’t really know. It just... happens, and I freeze up. I can’t think, and I can’t talk, and I don’t know what to do with myself other than hide.”
A short pause.
“It feels safer that way.”
Luffy hummed, bumping your foot again.
“It shouldn’t,” he muttered, almost grumbling. “We’re just as safe as some stupid storage closet. And you shouldn’t worry about that, we’d never hurt you.”
Weakly, you nodded. You couldn’t stop your tears, but you didn’t know if you wanted to. You hadn’t let yourself cry like this in a long time, not with people who cared for you now.
“I know you’re safer than some storage closet, Luffy.” You chuckled, sniffling. “It’s not that I think you’re not, it just... It’s different.”
“I know it is,” he shifted forward, placing his straw hat on your head. “Just come to one of us next time, yeah?”
“Yeah,” you agreed, nodding. Nami rubbed your shoulder, and Luffy slowly stood up.
He offered you his hand, as a choice, and you took it. With little warning, he pulled you up, and almost instantly, dizziness washed over you.
You didn’t have enough time to even think.
“Oh—Luffy, be careful—“ Chopper warned. But it was too late.
Static spread up your body, crawling into your vision—and as stable as you came, it suddenly disappeared. You went limp, ears blaring as both knees gave out underneath you.
“Oi—____!” Luffy quickly caught you, eyes wide as he held you to his chest. In a matter of seconds, the room erupted.
“Idiot! You can’t just pull them up that fast! Their body needs to readjust!”
“Readjust? What does that mean?!”
“He means acclimatize, Luffy,” Robin sighed, watching your head loll gently against his shoulder. Her eyes softened, “They just can’t seem to get a break, they?”
“No, apparently they cannot,” Usopp sighed, his head dropping.
“So what—they just passed out?” Zoro ignored, walking over. “Are they okay?”
“Yes, and no, I mean—technically?”
“Chopper.”
“It was a drop in blood pressure! Orthostatic Hypotension, they had a lot of things to contribute to it, anxiety, dehydration—standing up too fast,” Chopper listed, coming beside you.
“When that happens, their brain and heart don’t have enough blood or oxygen to properly function,” he finished, gently taking your vitals.
“I understood none of that.” Franky blurted.
“Exactly, that’s why I’m the doctor.” “Ok, lil’ bro.”
“They just passed out, they’re only unconscious,” he continued, pausing. Worriedly, his eyebrows scrunched.
“Oh, that’s not good, that’s really low.”
“Low? What’s low? Are they dying?!” Usopp panicked. “Yohoho, my heart can’t take this—“
“No, you idiots! They aren’t dying, quit it!” Nami snapped.
“They just passed out, like Chopper said. Just give it a second.” Robin assured.
“Yeah, well, I hate waiting,” Franky muttered, standing above Luffy. With his hands on his hips, he watched you protectively, just like the crew did.
If he ever found out who’d done you harm, to this extent? Bringing your anxiety to an all-time high? They wouldn’t walk another painless day. If at all.
“Sanji, can you get them some water? They’ll need something light to eat too, for when they wake up.” “Already on it.”
•~•~•~•
Blearily, you stirred to panicked voices.
Luffy’s hat had tipped to the side, shielding your vision, while Chopper tracked your pulse, and Zoro broodingly hovered . . .
You wondered how long you’d been out, but you’d been too tired to move—or signal that you were alive.
“God, there you are.” Sanji sighed, placing a hand to his heart. “You’re just all over the place.”
“Oh, thank goodness,” Chopper muttered, “How are you feeling?”
You blinked, slowly, very slowly—almost grogily. “Did I j’s pass out?”
“Yeah, you did.” Nami deadpanned, gently adjusting Luffy’s hat. She looked at the captain, glaring. “Don’t ever do that again.”
“I won’t,” Luffy chuckled, “sorry, ____.”
“It’s fine,” you muttered, shakily leaning up. Your balance didn’t last, and Luffy let you rest against him. “Ugh, I think I got hit by a ship.”
“No, you got hit by a Luffy.” Usopp corrected, letting Sanji slip by with some water. “Here, this’ll make you feel better. There are some electrolytes in there, so it’s sweet.” He soothed.
“It wasn’t that bad,” Luffy grumbled, but Franky was quick to interrupt. “Oh, it was that bad. They folded like a chair.”
“I did not.” You mumbled, though it was completely ignored.
“How was I supposed to know they’d do that?” Luffy huffed, his arms tightening around you.
“Yohoho, because.” Brook shrugged. “Because—?”
“Ok, on a serious note!” Chopper finished, bringing their attention back to you. “Your blood pressure is low, you’re dehydrated, and you need rest. So don’t even think about doing anything strenuous.”
You nodded, but went to say something—
“And no. I’m not sure about training tomorrow, we’ll see how you feel.” “Seriously?”
“You just passed out, moron.” Zoro’s eye twitched. “Give yourself a break.”
“You’re one to talk.” “Oi—watch it.”
“They’ve got a point, Zoro, I don’t know how many times I’ve seen Chopper chase you around.” Usopp plopped a seat beside you.
“Haha—remember when he bandaged him to the mast?”
Here we go . . .
“Don’t turn this on me!”
Leaning against Luffy’s side, you listened to the crew’s banter, relaxing. Everyone had made themselves a comfortable spot, lingering close, and your eyes began to droop.
“It was a good waste of bandages, I’d do it again.” Chopper proudly smiled, crossing his arms as he finally let your wrist go. “Shishi—he looked like Sanji’s pork wraps!”
“I did not!” Zoro blushed, scoffing as he turned away. “I’m leaving you to drown next time you fall overboard.”
“No, you won’t!” “Oh, yes, the hell I will!”
Luffy’s hat fell in your lap, and slowly... your eyes closed. The light-hearted arguing acted as a white noise, and as insane as it sounded, the loudness was comforting.
Yet again, everyone’s voices blurred, but this time it was by sleep, not by the torment of your anxiety. Your body, for once, relaxed, and almost instantly, you were at peace.
In the arms of your captain, and the company of your crew, you could finally rest. It would be okay, and in a matter of no-time, your energy would return.
It wasn't everlasting, only temporarily in the depths of your episode, and you had to remember that it would pass. And I would be okay.

Ok, due to the fact that I'm a new writer, and recovering from a concussion I'll be taking limited requests and extending them as I'm comfortable.
I tend to be a perfectionist who procrastinates, so it takes a few days for me to follow through... though if you do request something just know I'm trying my absolute best to get it done.
And it helps if you're a little descriptive with your request, like little key points, or maybe a certain scenario? Or a starter if you want!

|Intro warning|
As someone who struggles with anxiety, it is hard. Like...very hard. My greatest wishes go out to the people who struggle with it, and obviously those who don't! Regardless we're all just human trying to get by.
And I am proud of y'all... though that sounds weird coming from a stranger on the internet who knows nothing about you... it's true. I really do mean it. Things are just getting tough, and they probably will continue to, so all you can do in the time being is just hang in there!
Especially when your anxiety is being a bitch. Which isn't always easy.
It's a struggle. And you are very strong for dealing with it--even if not.
Just take it easy on yourself, and make sure to hydrate and grab a snack! A small change goes a long way.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
On the Strawhat Crew, anxiety is probably a sensitive topic, though it isn’t uncommon. It’d never be overlooked or ignored, given the crew has their own struggles.
I mean, take one good look at their character, ONE good look at their character and tell me they don’t have some kind of crippling fear...
The Straw hats would always be incredibly understanding with you, more so than others—but they’d would know how it feels, and they’d help you in their own lovable way.
There is NO difference if you’re a man or woman, or girl or guy or whatever you want to call yourself, because everyone is equal.
Everyone deserves to be treated with the same help AND respect another can get.
Which the Straw hats would strictly stand by, given they're morals, and not to mention they are literally sweethearts...
And at first, you might not think of it that way. You'd obviously trust them, but your anxiety was different. It felt…burdening. Knowing you're safe and loved, but it’d still eat at you.
However, the crew would see that as they are all emotionally intelligent, so it’s pretty much impossible to keep something from them like that. Even if some are more dense than others. Cough cough emotionally constipated.
Regardless, Robin was the first to figure it out. She’d caught your anxious mannerisms out of the corner of her eye. The way your knee would restlessely bounce, the fidgeting, the nervous stumbling... she knew.
She never caught it in the act, but she had always been your silent support.
Robin is more of the gentle type—motherly if anything as she had always been the person to quietly hold your hand, pull you aside, or ground you with her soothing words.
Reminding you there was always someone there.
No matter where or why you'd panic, she wouldn't judge you. The thought could have never possibly crossed her mind.
And it was no different when she'd come across your trembling form, leaning against the deep red seats in the aquarium bar—later into the night.
. . .
“____?” Robin asked quietly, knocking on the door to attempt to alert you of her company. Her heart wrenched at the sight of your tear streaked face, bathed in the blue light from the tank.
Your skin was discolored, even more exposed and vulnerable in the subdued lighting—struggling to catch a damned breath; limbs sludge as a result.
You felt as though everything weighed you down, converting you into something you'd hate to recognize. The familiar feeling of everything crashing atop you, reminding you no matter how much anything changed—you were still you.
Robin repeated your name, leaving it echo louder throughout the room, snapping you out of your daze. The storminess of everything filtered away, replaced by a sharp jolt to your heart as she'd startled you.
The archeologist quietly apologized, carefully stepping into the room waiting for a sign to continue forward. Her mind was alert, troubled by whatever seemed to have plagued you—reducing you to this. Diminishing your loved smile into a water work of tears.
Having to watch the way your hands dug into your sides, embarrassingly turning away from her—it was unfair. It was cruel to think someone as kind as you suffered so much.
Even if it was life, it seemed it’d been especially hard on you
Robin slowly came to your side, letting you adjust as she placed a comforting hand to your back, pulling you in for a hug.
She wasn’t necessarily sure what to say, or what to comfort you with, but she’d try. She had too.
She couldn’t bare seeing you this way.
“It’s okay, ____. I’m right here.” Robin whispered, letting her arms tighten around you, hoping to aid your distress.
You practically melted into her touch, surrendering yourself. Everything had been tormenting you for the last hour—and you couldn't bare it any longer.
"I'm sorry," you choked, your breath hitching as your chest tremored.
“Don't be, there's nothing to apologize for, you've done nothing wrong." She hummed, her hand gently rubbing into your back.
"Just breathe ____, you’re okay.”
Robin let you rest in her arms however long you needed. No matter the hour, no matter the cause, she was there for you. She didn't leave you to your silence for a moment, as she knew the feeling of it. The loneliness, the memories, the pain...
She always chose to look out for you, as you were her dearest crew-mate. Her dearest friend, and dearest family.

Sanji and Brook were the next to see it in action.
A pair you wouldn't think would go together, but does. They were a underrated duo to say in the least, both of course perverts—but you knew they meant well. And you know that hat they say: great minds think alike.
Or maybe that’s just an excuse idiots use.
However, Sanji was surprisingly well with you. He wouldn’t bombard you with his lovey dovey tendencies, nor mix his flirty temptations with your troubles. He was always incredibly gentle with you, as your state would affect him greatly.
He could always empathize with you, given his own cumbersome experiences.
Sanji often tended to read you when in distress, picking up on your small cues, or just having a hunch. He might not exactly know what caused it, but he could sure as hell sense it, much like the others do.
It's just a feeling he had, a slight pinch in his skin, a reminder. A reminder of how protective he could be with you and his crew.
He’d be the type to assure you, tell you it wasn't a burden to reach out, and depending on your preferences, he would hold you close.
Sanji would always ask you if you needed anything, and if you did—without hesitation he’d get it for you. The cook would do anything for the ones he loved, much more cherished. Especially when it came to you, someone who hit a little too close to home.
Now, when Brook came into the knowledge of your anxiety, it’d kinda just clicked for him. The gears in his skull would comically grind and turn—leaving a solemn feeling to wash over him.
He would silently realize why you acted the way you did, why you had your questionable habits, and why you had your required ‘alone time.’ And he'd understand all of it.
He’d gone through the feeling of it for more than 50 years alone. So he could sympathize, even if he didn’t know what you went through—what mattered now, was helping you out if it.
The skeleton had always been fond of you, as he was with everyone, but this was under different circumstances. It was at your own expense, and he quickly wanted to help you.
Which he did, as Brook gave out surprisingly good advice as well as an easy means for distractions.
From liners of comedic relief to your favorite tune—he'd have your back. Even if he didn't have his.
His musical talent would be a blessing in the frantic moment, and the calming notes of his violin eased your inner torment. He brought a calm to your storm, and his corny jokes never failed to make you laugh—so you had nothing to lose if you'd ever gone to him. Brook would always be more than happy to support you.
•-•
Nevertheless, even with the exception of their help it never felt like enough, your anxiety simply wouldn’t budge. It was stubborn, and it tormented you.
You were triggered off an on and it was set off by the littlest of things, amplified to the point of bringing yourself down. The constant stress weighed, and it frustrated you to no end. Ultimately making you feeling like a bigger burden, so you simply avoided yourself. And the others around you.
When in need, you stopped going to Robin as you tried to just shut it off completely. You didn’t mean to, but you tended to push away the ones you loved away, further adding to your apprehensions.
And as a result; it took you down.
It’d been late at night when you had another panic attack, left exhausted on the kitchen floor, chest heaving as you quietly cried. You’d yet again given up, far too weak and tired to trek back to your room. So you succumbed to your exhaustion there, deciding it was a good place to sleep it off.
Which you later found out it wasn’t, but you were too groggy to care.
•-•
A light quietly flickered on in the un-assumed room, and Sanji casually walked in to prep breakfast. Accompanied by the joyful company of brook while the two had light talk, speaking of an island that was soon to come up based off Nami’s observations. Which had everyone in high hopes and in dire needs since Luffy had raided the kitchen the night before.
Brook casually leaned against the kitchen’s sidewall, letting out a dramatic yawn as he reached down to play his violin, a peaceable tune filling the room.
"I feel as if today will be…special," He hummed, mindlessly scanning the room, opting to watch cook as he prepared the much needed morning coffee.
"Mm, and why is that?"
"I can feel it in my bones."
"Of course you can." Sanji sighed, bringing the water to a boil as he grabbed some ground coffee, adding in the essential ingredients.
"The ratio has to be perfect or Robin's coffee won't taste right." He muttered, not bothering to question the musician’s gaze.
“Hah quite so, the dedication of a true chef! Do you think she notices your efforts?" Brook replied, casually looking up to the cook.
“. . .” Sanji’s felt his eye twitch, glaring up to Brook—but something was caught in the corner of his eye.
"I'll take that as a maybe then yohoho!" He laughed, muttering something incoherent about losing his breakfast.
Sanji only ignored him, focusing his attention to the cartoony pair of socks that lied awkwardly behind a chair’s legs.
“Looks like someone camped out in here…” he turned off the stove, opting to check on the sleeping figure.
“What? Who? Where?” Brook blurted, immediately scanning the room. He jumped when he finally spotted someone’s feet, letting out a high-pitched girlish scream as they twitched. His hand clasped over his ‘heart’ and he quickly hid behind the kitchen’s service hatch, peeking through.
Ironically enough Brook’s mind flickered to the thought of a zombie, or even worse—a ghost.
“Shh!” Sanji hissed, flipping around to send the man another glare, “Dammit don’t go waking up the whole ship, It’s probably just Luffy or something—the idiots probably ‘starved’ by now.” He drug a hand down his face, walking around the table towards your unsuspecting form.
He knew he couldn’t full-proof it was Luffy—given those ridiculous socks he’d caught a glimpse of, as he knew deep down his idiot of a captain barely ever wore socks—always raw dogging it in those god awful shabby sandles.
So when his gaze finally land on you, he paused. He suspected it, but it uneased him to no end, and his irritation vanished completly replaced by a creeping sense of worry.
“____?!”
Sanji knew you never came to the kitchen this early—you always slept like a rock in your room, and you didn’t show yourself till late afternoon. If they were lucky.
Another holler finally seemed to stir you awake, and you let out a sleepy groan sorely rolling to your back to meet their concerned faces.
You could see Sanji’s mouths moving, but you couldn't bother to hear his words as they were far too faint, and you were much too tired to care. It felt painfully early, and you'd maybe gotten a few hours of sleep.
Reaching your arms over your eyes, you wiped away any crispy tears that had dried from the hours before.
“S’too bright,” You mumbled, rolling back to your side as you hid your expression in your arms. You felt like a slug, so slow and grimy, and you’d slept at an awkward angle which killed your back.
“____? Are you alright? Why are you up so early?” Brook leaned over you, his worry growing as more time without answers went by. This wasn’t necessarily a normal occurrence for you, as he didn't often see you this... peachy.
And the two hadn’t missed the way it’d been evident you had been crying—given the puffiness in your eyes and the faint tear marks.
“More importantly why are you asleep on the floor in MY kitchen huh? What’s gotten into you,” Sanji gently patted your shoulder as he tried to get your attention.
"Nothing," You muffled, regretting not forcing yourself to walk back to your room last night.
"It doesn't seem like nothing." He chided, knowing you were going to be stubborn about this. However, he'd never force you to do anything you didn't want to, and the last thing he wanted to do was pressure you.
"I'm just tired," you excused, knowing it was a lame throw, but you didn’t know what to do. You didn’t really want to talk about—it was the same ol’ same ol’, and you only felt it burden them the more it occurred. And knowing the two, you knew they could already tell something was up, and exactly what.
Though roughly enough it had to get worse as an awkward silence washed over, and without your knowledge—Sanji and Brook shared a look.
You heard one of them let out a sigh and Brook suddenly laid down on the floor beside you, his bones clunking against the floor.
"Is the floor really that comfy?”
Sanji hummed, "Must be," he agreed, coming to a causal sit at the other side of you, leaning against the table's leg.
There actions were kind, but for some reason it made your eyes water. You hesitated to say anything, even move you didn't really know what to do now. How to continue, or what words to say, but deep down you knew they only wanted to be there for you, and that was enough to try. The thought of knowing some would be confirmed in stone to be there for you, put you at further ease.
You let out a soft sniffle, leaning up to sit with a knee against your chest as you wiped your oncoming tears with your sleeves.
"Yeah, it's pretty comfy," you murmured, cursing the way it weakly came out and broke.
"Could use a few blankets though," Brook adjusted, also coming to a sit as he let out his classic laugh beside you.
"Mm, let's just stick to our own beds for now," you could hear Sanji grimace, before he gently placed his hand on your head, easing your tears by far. He softly patted your hair before his hand trailed off and he offered for you to stand.
"How about I get you something to eat or drink?” He waited, but you didn’t reply as you didn’t feel in the mood to take anything in. You felt sick enough as is to just throw it up.
“I don’t think I can stomach anything right now, sorry Sanji,” you said quietly, lowering your gaze as you felt more tears surface.
“That’s okay, you can always snack later,” Brook assured.
“If there’s anything left of course,”
“There will be.” Sanji glared, kneeling beside you again—knowing it’d take a little more than a nudge or simple ask.
“____.”
. . .
Silence washed over the three of you again and you could only shrink further in on yourself. You gently shook your head hiding your face in your arms.
“It’s okay to cry. And it’s okay to rely on us, you know that don’t you?” He affirmed, patiently waiting for you. His gaze softened as Brook silently watched, and could only agree—he couldn’t have said it better himself.
“He’s right you know, we’re here for you, we’ll always be.”
Your shoulder’s shook, and you felt your lips tremble, and you could only nod your head in response.
“You don’t have to hide you know.”
“I know that.” Your voice broke.
. . .
“Then why do you?” Brook wondered. He knew you struggled, but not to this extent. You were always so quiet about your troubles, and he wished you wouldn’t feel the need to keep them at bay.
“B-because I—I don’t know. I just, it feels like I’m too much.” You struggled out, “It won’t stop sometimes and everything just feels so constant, I cant get ahold of myself and I feel like I’m burdening you all with it.”
“What? How could you ever burden us with that?”
“Oh ____ ,”
You finally lifted your head, tears streaming down your face as you frustratingly wiped them away, “It’s just never ending, and no matter what I do, or what anyone else might—it still hurts me. Everything feels—just so intense. I don’t know how to explain it. It just feels so weird, and I can’t ever fucking stop it.”
. . .
Brook leaned forward slightly, his skeletal fingers resting lightly on his knees as he looked at you with a rare solemnity. “____ ,” he began softly, “do you know what makes a symphony truly remarkable?”
You sniffled, shaking your head as your eyes continued to stream, silently waiting for him to continue.
“It’s not the constant perfect harmony,” Brook said, his voice unusually tender. “It’s the ups and downs, the quiet moments, the dissonance that resolves into beauty. The silences between the notes are just as important as the notes themselves. Without them, the music would be overwhelming—chaotic.”
Your lips parted, but no words came. You understood his metaphor, but regardless you didn’t feel entirely different, and you lowered your gaze letting tears spill into your hands.
“And life, ____ ,” Brook continued, “is no different. Sometimes, the melody feels too fast, too loud, like you can’t catch your breath. But do you know what makes it bearable?”
You hesitated, then whispered, “What?”
Brook leaned closer, his empty sockets meeting her teary eyes. “The orchestra,” he said gently. “A symphony isn’t carried by one instrument. When your melody falters, the others step in to support you. The violins soften when you’re tired. The percussion steadies you when you’re overwhelmed. Together, we make something beautiful—even when the song feels messy or broken.”
“But it feels like I’m always off-key,” you whispered, “Like I’m dragging everyone down.”
From your other side, Sanji’s calm voice interjected, breaking through your anguish.
“____ ,” he said firmly, “Even if your rhythm falters, we’ll match it. We’re not here to judge the song you’re playing. We’re here to play it with you.”
Brook nodded, his hand gently tapping the floor as though playing an imaginary tune. “That’s right. And no matter how many times you lose the beat, we’ll be here to guide you back. Even dissonance has its place in a masterpiece, ____. It doesn’t make the music less beautiful—it makes it human.”
Your tears finally came to a stop, for the first time in a while—a glimmer of relief shown through your expression. You swallowed hard, your voice shaky but audible. “But I don’t want to ruin the song.”
“You could never ruin it,” Sanji said with a soft smile. “You make it better just by being part of it.”
Brook sighed, coming to a stand as his tone lightened with a small laugh, “And if you ever need a duet partner, I’ll always have time for an encore. Yohoho!”
You smiled, wiping the remnants of your tears, chuckling a bit--feeling much lighter.
Sanji came back to a stand, gently pulling you up with him, “I’m not a musician but I will gladly be listen to you anytime.”
“Yohoho good, now I need some tea, my throats feeling rather dry.”
“Oh get it yourself!” Sanji snapped, averting his attention from you, to yet again send the skeleton a glare. And for once, you felt as ease, it felt...easy to breathe, not forced--but casual. And you knew you'd be okay, because you had them. As the two would always be there for you, even if you're stubborn.
You could never be a burden for your struggles, and they'd always welcome you with open arms. You just hoped you could uphold that front and be true to yourself--to be true to them. To trust the crew and let a bit loose.
Though even if you didn't it'd be okay. Because, being on the straw hat crew wouldn't mean specifically to be strong, but to stick together, to help each other through the thick and thin of life. To have adventures and live life to it's fullest. To live and help each other achieves their dreams, to hang in there, and protest and push through with each other not matter what.
