Just another little tribute ..

Throwback to the time my poor German teacher had to explain the concept of formal and informal pronouns to a class full of Australians and everyone was scandalised and loudly complained “why can’t I treat everyone the same?” “I don’t want to be a Sie!” “but being friendly is respectful!” “wouldn’t using ‘du’ just show I like them?” until one guy conceded “I suppose maybe I’d use Sie with someone like the prime minister, if he weren’t such a cunt” and my teacher ended up with her head in her hands saying “you are all banned from using du until I can trust you”

australia sucks but at least our politicians aren’t treated as celebrities and we can tell them to fuck off at the grocery store

It was an unknown place for me, personally, I have no experience having contact with another man in that way. And when you first went in on that first take and you kissed him, just, what went through your mind, honestly? "I’m gonna have to do this more often." [x]

The lack of typical music and the hand-held camera work really improves the series, it gives the show a documentary-like feel, making the uncomfortable subject matter all the more disarming. Everything about this show seems designed to get under people’s skin. If this show doesn’t make your skin crawl, then it’s on too tight. If this show doesn’t pull at your heart strings, you need to loosen them. 

The unsung hero of the HBO’s OZ is the person who was in charge of all the ambiance and horror sound effects and shit. Without them, the series wouldn’t be nearly as fucking intense as it was

A disabled character who still has more personality than Bran Stark. Oz for the win. 

(Joking aside, Augustus is an interesting character, especially since his being disabled is just one part of his character, not his defining feature.)

Today’s disabled character of the day is Augustus Hill from Oz, who is a wheelchair user

I’m watching the episode of Buffy where they find out Oz is a werewolf and its got me wondering what would happen if a werewolf bit a vampire. Like, if a vampire bit a werewolf nothing would happen because they would also need to drink the vamps blood
