headcanon that grover and percy are just completely incapable of arguing. might as well be canon too, cause like everytime in the books there's some conflict, it just goes like this:

Do you think this is what sets him and Luke apart? Would Luke not done what he did if he too had a mom who could have been there for him? Would he have not done it had his mom not chosen to be the Orcale despite knowing the risks? Did he know that May knew the possible consequences and still chose to do it. Because even if they didn't know about Dad's curse, they still knew that Oracles were supposed to be maidens so this was very dangerous? Did he know that and blamed Hermes still? Did he feel abandoned by his mother too? Was he alone to fight for himself so what he came to value was power? Was I too young to notice these things when I actually read PJO? ARGHHHHHH

No, but another thing about this show that is so off from the books but we love it is how much Percy actually knows about the Greek stories. Like, yes, our Goddes Sally Jackson taught him, she prepared in the only ways she could. Like, ik in the books he was all like "Huh?" Or "What?" about what had happened (and if he wasn't then the Fandom has rendered my mind usless and I no longer have the ability to differentiate fanfics and canon) but yes.

Ok, but you know what I absolutely loved? The whole I'm a big fan thing that Grover did, like, such a classic manipulation move. I just love how much Grover truly understands the human(+god) nature. And I love how subtly he made Ares let out about how he actually knew who the real thief was and I just loved how Grover knew the exact words about it. I mean I'm pretty sure he has negative idea who the actual thief is but we can't really blame him for that. That's a shittona trust they're gonna have broken. They wouldn't have had intrusive thoughts about. Never. But yeah. This, this is a, sort of, mini Grover appreciation post. I wanna appreciate him more but I just thought of something else, but yes.

As much as I loved the Thrill Ride O' Love scene, it feels.......unusual, lacking. 1st off, I kinda wanted to see Annabeth freak out about the mini automaton spiders and how they actually rode them out. But that's not the point. What I mean is, it's strange. To think that a god, any immortal being, would so easily accept the words of a 12 year old girl, unless Hephaestus had been thinking them himself for a while now. And isn't that a bit out of character for how he's been portrayed so far? Like, wasn't he about millenia of escapism? Of not thinking about people and being bothered by it? Or have I completely missed the point? It HAS been quite a while since I read PJO but idk, guys, idk

Everything else aside, you know what else is fucked up? How Athena let ECHIDNA, the literal MOTHER of all monsters and the freakin CHIMERA into her "temple". And for what? I am having such a hard time picturing me wanting to take the Gods' side in season 5. I just don't see it happening.

I just realized the PJO show runners could do something so sick and twisted and amazing during the Circe scene.

No, listen to me. Percy Jackson actually learning blood bending and helping the apollo cabin in the infirmary with bleeding cases and other blood related injuries.

The fact that in lightning thief when percy first meets hades all regal and majestic and after like 10 seconds of conversation. He starts ranting about the problem of the underworld like an old man ranting about his ongoing business of dairy and it's downfall. It's like a typical relative conversation happening where the sassy teenager is bored and the 50 year old uncle is still not done complaining about life. That's what cracks me up!

2. “Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief”, Genre: Fantasy/Adventure, Summary: A young boy gets to know that he is a demi-god and a great adventure awaits for him.

3. “The Social Network”, Genre: Biography, Summary: A genius Harvard student discovers a social networking site which becomes very popular and he has to deal with his fame and friendships. 

4. “Shutter Island”, Genre: Psychological Thriller, Summary: Two marshals go to an island to investigate the disappearance of a patient of an asylum situated in the island and things get worse.

Comparison between Harry Potter and Percy Jackson

Comparison means mentioning the similarities and dissimilarities between any two or more things. So as I have decided to compare Harry Potter with Percy Jackson, I am gonna discuss the similarities as well as dissimilarities. I will start with basic things of course that everybody knows.  Lets start with similarities.

Similarities: 1. Both the series have the title in the name of the hero. As for example: Harry potter and the chamber of secrets, Percy Jackson and the last Olympian.

2. The trio thing is common in both of the series. The golden trio of Harry Potter are of course Harry, Ron and Hermione. And in case of Percy Jackson they are Percy, Annabeth and Grover.

3. When defining the characters, it is seen that Annabeth and Hermione have the very same characteristics. They are both are obviously the Miss know-it-all. Both of them are pretty smart and supportive.

4. Some of the useful materials used by the characters are also pretty much alike. Such as the Harry’s cloak of invisibility and Annabeth’s cap of invisibility.

5. Luke and Draco have almost the same nature (like 70%). They both are “neither bad, nor good” type.

Dissimilarities: 1. Harry Potter series has 7 books but Percy Jackson series has only 5 books.

2. Harry Potter is more described and a little bit less adventurous. On the contrary, Percy Jackson contains a little less description of every matter and in almost every chapter there is huge adventure.

3. Besides being best friends with Percy, Annabeth most often insults him for his little stupidity. But Hermione plays  the role of explainer actually when Harry does stupid little things.

I do have many more similarities and dissimilarities in my mind but I am gonna write all of them in one post obviously (like who doesn’t want to make sequels even if it is just a stupid post). Btw, I know that I am a terrible writer. But I am really trying to increase my level. Please be supportive. Thanks.
