A lot of people need a closer relationship with the block button. I have HUNDREDS of people blocked by this point for simply having a bad opinion or mischaracterizing a fictional character in a way I don’t like.
It’s not always personal and people need to understand that they aren’t entitled to your presence, content, or online space.
You can literally block someone for having a Simpson’s pfp and no one should be giving you shit for it
just saw a shifttok video that went “i can understand feeling jealous bc that’s normal but blocking ppl & refusing to be friends with someone who has the same s/o?? it’s not that serious..” and i just have to say.. go fuck yourself if you think the same 🤨 i mean that’s like telling someone that if they had a partner in this reality that they should be okay with being friends with someone who openly flirts with said partner.
if a shifter doesn’t want to interact or be friends with someone who has the same s/o, that’s perfectly okay!! and it actually is that serious because it’s a boundary that they’re setting and you aren’t respecting that boundary, you’re mocking it, if you think simply blocking/not wanting to interact is ridiculous.
as a jealous shifter myself who’s permashifting to my home reality where my s/o already is my boyfriend, the dehumanizing of jealousy & slight mockery of jealous shifters in the shifting community is so fucking gross. if you don’t get jealous when someone has the same s/o as you, cool, but that doesn’t make you superior to shifters who do so if they don’t want to interact or be friends with you, don’t get upset and don’t act like they’re wrong for it. respect their boundary just like you would any other shifter.
