Totally agree, and I think that is also insulting to the French and Brazilian community, each creator defenetly should speak the language that they and their community are most comfortable with. And people can find the translated videos of a streamer of another language in yt tumblr or twitter
As a English speaker I find it so saddening and frustrating that the candidates feel the need to speak in English and not their first language.
They keep struggling to find the proper words and then get interrupted. I want to hear the speeches even if I personally can’t understand it. I want to know their true words, with the confidence that they would have with their first language. I know I can depend on the community of the qsmp to make translations. There’s been ppl on both twitter and tumblr making entire accounts dedicated to translating important moments for English AND non English ccs.
I understand it’s because the qsmp live translator isn’t good for long speeches, but it’s still frustrating to see the Brazilian and French ccs struggle.
Forever asked for an accommodation for more time since he usually speaks in broken English and that was denied.
Baghera couldn’t finish her speeches since she was struggling and then was cut off. She speaks much faster in French she could’ve gotten her point across more efficiently if she spoke French. She said so herself “it’s so complicated.”
(Idk it’s just upsetting, I know it’s not that serious.)
Pals what if we all vote Gegg for president just for the meme, he probably wouldn’t win since the comunity vote only consists of the 35% (I think), but it woulb be HILARUIS if all of the comunity voted for him and when they are anouncing the votes its like: “And the comunity voted for... Gegg?“
