An art piece I did in 2024, I really love mermaids and this art piece did kind of kickstarted a mermaid anthology series I’ll do in the later future. I used special color pencils and acrylic markers.

Sea Angel

The Sea Angel is a tiny snail that is only 4 cm in length and found at depths as deep as 1500 m. Even though it is small, it is a viscous predator. It hunts other midwater snails using a structure called a radula. Unlike other snails, the Sea Angel’s mouth is located on top of its head. It also uses swimming “wings” to propel through the water.

This is my Partner and I as Merfolk!
Submission for Equestria Daily's Fluttershy Day. Based on the seapony designs from My Little Pony: Set Your Sail, the G5 comic miniseries. Each one seems to be based partially on some sort of sea creature; initially my idea was an angelfish or a sea angel, until I remembered that butterflyfish existed. (The wings were added after I finished everything else on her.) Angel is a sea angel, but he's not too thrilled about it! (and he's pink.) (It was also going to have a proper undersea background, but then I got lazy.)
