Self-harm awareness day

Today is self-harm awareness day. It is a very important day for me as a former self-harmer, and when I was at my lowest I thought no one knew how I felt, but now I know better. This is a day for people to learn more about the causes of self-harm and the risks. Self-harm is no different than any other unhealthy coping mechanism like drugs, alcohol, and many others. Just because someone self-harms does not make them any different from an addict that needs help. So, if you are a self-harmer and If you’re not sure where to turn, call the S.A.F.E. Alternatives information line in the U.S. at 1-800-366-8288 for referrals and support for cutting and self-harm. People are actually turning this guys death into a meme fucking hell.

It’s honestly so sad that someone can be filled with so much hate and malicious intention.😭 To go so far as tell some to take their own life is UNACCEPTABLE and to do it on anon makes that hateful person not only evil, but a coward. 😤😡 Please please please, if anyone receives messages like these: Don’t listen 👂. I know I’m not alone when I you all are beautiful (or handsome), smart, funny, and so much more than the hate that gets needlessly thrown at you. Stay strong 💪. Stay safe. It's almost summer. The season where we can go to beaches and not have to worry so much about school assignments. Vacation time is started. So have fun, worry less. Dye you hair that color, get that swimsuit, become the person you want to be. Here is a friendly reminder to be yourself this summer, and don't change for others. Live how you want to live.

I hope you all are ok. I hope you all live till you are at least 80. Because I just talked my friend off the ledge. Suicide is never the answer no matter how much you wish you were dead. Even though it sounds like bull, it does get better, it gets so much better. You don't need to die to escape, you just need to find yourself. Think about the one person or people you would never want to leave behind. Set a goal, make yourself a reason why you can't leave. Don't let yourself be blinded by a superficial sense of helplessness, ending not only your life, but other people's happiness in your smile, in your little laugh, in every way you exist. You aren't ugly, you aren't evil, you aren't fake, you aren't invalid, and you aren't a disappointment. You are a human being, and you have a right to be happy, a right to live how you want, a right to love who you want, and a right to be there. Don't give up soldier, I'm counting on you.

Wishing can be a double edged sword. You know all the stories of be careful what you wish for, but wishes can also be wonderful. Wishing means nothing to loose, but you can loose hope if you wish too long and too hard. Almost every wish is attainable if you try hard enough, so do that thing, kiss that person, and do your best at the life you were born into. Don't just wish, wish with hope, hope for the best, and do the best you can.

Life is like modeling clay. You can shape it however you want, but with limitations. Clay cannot fly, so we put it on a string. It cannot hover off the table, so we stack it higher. Broken pieces cannot be put back on after baking, so we must score it beforehand. In the end, life is what we make it. Not others, us. Don't let someone else mold your life for you.

Life doesn't stop, time cannot be still, yet you can get tired. Sleep is not for the weak, and being weak doesn't mean you aren't strong. You're only human, so don't stop your life, don't wonder if you could reverse time to change something, just sleep, and be ready for the next day's challenges.

ESP || Hace unes meses hice para una persona muy especial, mi madre, una ilustración que representara la sanación, el tomar consciencia de nosotros mismos, cuidarnos y querernos. La ilustración partía de una casa sobre una flor y evolucionó a un corazón en una flor llena de constelaciones. Estos días, en los que siento como si la ansiedad, el miedo, el aburrimiento y la preocupación estuviera en el aire, es más importante que nunca conocernos y cuidar de nuestra salud, no solo física sino también mental. Espero que todos os estéis cuidando mucho, en la medida de lo posible, a vosotros y a vuestros seres queridos! Aunque estemos encerrados en casa tenemos que mantener la ilusión y dejarnos florecer!
