i’m just… so tired of reading posts complaining about problems that only exist because people won’t read romance novels… it is a huge genre there are books about werewolf dukes, there are books about black revolutionary war soldiers, there are books about south asian doms who care about enthusiastic consent, there are books about shape-shifting cowboys who turn into bears, there are books about lady scientists learning how to trust that their boundaries will be respected, there are books about alien barbarian warriors, there are books about genies, there are books about women of color in victorian london, there are books about polyamorous earls, there are fake marriages and marriages of convenience and basically every fanfic trope that people lose it for exists as a book with original characters but some of the same people who complain about how books no longer satisfy them turn a blind eye to a whole genre because it never occurs to them to read a ~bodice-ripper~ when they could read romantic fanfic of a more respectable genre instead
What should I draw next?

I have started to journal over the past month, but I use a simple hardcover notebook with lined paper. While I think it's very useful, I am interested in other types of journals like bullet journals and traveler's journals. I am not sure which would be best for me, though?
I don't really keep track of things like my water intake, what books I read, and daily tasks in my journal, but I do write a lot of my thoughts, my spiritual journey, mood at the start/end of the day, gratitude, etc.
I don't know how I could really work these all into a cohesive place and what type of journal to even begin with in the first place. I would love suggestions and insight from anyone who's had a similar problem. Thank you!

Okay, so, I'm going to be so honest... I'm not exactly experienced when it comes to Tumblr. I mostly use it to look at art, and read fanfiction. Nonetheless, I want to try! I'm planning on posting my art, along with any fics I decide I want to write. I normally posty art on Insta, and my fics on Wattpad, but I thought it was time for a change, so I migrated here. I wanna do something cool
Alright, so I'm a senior this year, and I wanna do something exponentially cooler to prompose to my best friend. not a cheap little poster board, or a pizza; I wanna make her something she won't forget. We're nowhere near in a romantic relationship, but she is literally the sweetest, most compassionate person I know ,and I wanna give her something as grand and as beautiful as she is. Here's my thing: I wanna write and claymate her a promposal video with original lyrics and handmade claymation. I'm gonna do everything, but all I need from you guys is another perspective, some insight , some advice , and some little tricks so I can pull this off for my best friend. Hope to hear some good suggestions , because honestly, I've never written a proper song or even claymated a thing, so the little bit of support and suggestion into the right way would be great.
Gaah, Treasure Planet is such a beautiful movie. It really is a shame it never got any sort of sequel.

i just have a lot of feelings about atlantis and i think it needs more love than it gets
So my dad posted some old pictures of our trip to Hawaii on Facebook and I just realized 10 year old me leaning on a tree wearing a bucket hat being an explorer and Milo from Atlantis wearing his granddad’s pith helmet have the “same energy” as they say.
That is to say, we both wore funny hats too big for our heads, round glasses, and went on adventures :)
(Milo image source--also I didn’t read all of that but what I did read has some pretty cool info on Atlantis. Side note, with all these live action remakes they’re doing lately, how awesome would a live action Atlantis be!!)

My bestie just got the autism diagnosis for her 7 year old son. I think I convinced her not to put him through ABA. She’s already getting a referral for OT. What helpful therapies are there that aren’t abusive or traumatic that I can suggest she look into?

I've finished my main set but more Hazbin art is coming because I'm still in love with the show (including a certain someone in my upcoming posts 🍎🐍)
I might do suggestions and polls if I'm art blocked or not sure what to draw next. I used to do them on Instagram and they were always fun!
At the moment I don't have a commission pricing sheet but it is something I'm planning and working out and I would love to open commissions in the future 😊
