something's coming and it's eerie to see how many other witches feel it too.
your grimoire does not have to be full of water colors, or illustrations, or dried plants, or essential oil infused ink. your pages do not have to be pristine, you don't have to include aesthetic tapes, or pretty polaroids.
you're allowed to mess up. your grimoire can have tears, or burns, or coffee stains, or wrinkled pages from the time you spilled your tea all over the place. it can be written in .5 mechanical pencil led or crayon.
the point is, your grimoire is apart of you. and if you love it, then you're doing it right.
the connection a witch has with nature is undeniable.
it's incredible, feeling at peace inside a humid forest.
it's unexplainable, feeling the energy underneath the water when you reach through it's current.
the connection we have is inside of everything. the sunshine, the rain, the call of the wind, the fire that keeps us warm— both inside and out.
we come from nature. we must treat her with respect.

Imbolc is a celebration of fertility, incoming spring and light! (Or the birth of your livestock depending on what you’re into) It falls on February 1/2, 2020 for the northern hemisphere. Luckily this lines up with a weekend! Here are some ideas to get energy flowing and celebrate Imbolc.

I know it’s early, but time always slips by when you’re not paying attention. Have a safe January!
How do you dispose of perishable offerings from your altar when you to switch out or redecorate? I feel bad just throwing them in the trash but I’m not sure what else to do. If anyone could message me what they do I’d be very grateful!

When cleansing my tools in moonlight I feel like a mother lining up her kids to spray them off with the hose after they’ve been playing in dirt all day.
Overnight Cleansing Ritual ✨🌙
This is more of a log for myself in the future, but maybe this can inspire or remind anyone to take a moment for themselves or declutter before the start of a new decade! I’m only about a year into my Wiccan journey so some things may not make sense or work in a way you’d think to, but I think intentions are what drive energies and magic so this my own ritual that I’ve done in the past to clear my mind and space.
Things you’d need:
You
Your room
A preferred cleansing tool
White candle
Morning ☀️
Beginning in the morning I did strip and make my bed, I vacuumed the mattress, the floors and began throwing out any trash I’ve had piled up between the bed and the wall.
At this time I realized I wanted to do some spell work that night as I felt filled with bright and productive energy, things simply fell in place for me throughout the day it just felt right.
Evening 💫
I like to think of my space and body working with eachother. So I begin my night by reflecting in on myself what does my body need, I cleaned my face, showered and took time to reconfirm I wanted to spend this night awake and working.
I would record your night as I often forget my thoughts no matter how important they seem at the time.
Next day ⛅️
Light a white candle and begin cleaning your room. This may seem like your mom ghost wrote this post, but a deep clean of ones room is the perfect time to reflect, and meditate. Thank the space for the shelter it has provided you in the last year or maybe the things it has witnessed.
I genuinely spend all night cleaning my room and space. Sometimes I will pause to watch a video or listen to music, but most of my night is spent with myself. This may seem intense at first, but I find it opens me up to slow time down and regain control over my own energy.
After finally feeling satisfied with my work or naturally falling asleep, the next day I will throw out the bags or donate what I’m giving away, light an unlit candle for fresh spirit and do whatever tarot spread I find effective, usually I will write a note down during the night. I cleanse my space with a cedar smudge as it’s often used for new houses and apartments to invite in positive energy and I like to think of my room as new after these rituals.

how to load and clean quartz
1: put it in the water This is because water helps to clean, which is why it is used in cleaning "spells". but this cannot be done with all quartz because it could be damaged. so it is important to find out well. 2:put it on the earth this is so that the quartz discharges all the accumulated energy and it also helps to charge you with the energy of mother earth. 3:put it "near a candle" this because fire is a symbol of purification and helps to purify and clean the accumulated energy of your quartz. 4:put it in a place where the moonlight hits it to charge it with lunar energy. 5:put it in a place where sunlight hits it to charge it with solar energy. 6:put it in "lunar water". 7:put it in "solar water".

*it is better to collect it before the sun "rises".
*this is so it cannot be touched by sunlight,porque no lo puede tocar la luz solar.
*not all crystals or (quartz) can be added with water as this could "wear out" or "dilute"
I want to add one thing that may be a bit obvious
but it is necessary to remember.
They can substitute one candle for another in case they don't have it in hand when they need it.
for example: if you are going to do something related to love, you would normally use a pink candle but you can substitute a red candle.

in Greek, logically alluding to the deadly properties of the plant. Voodoo dolls are generally made or made with cloth and filled with cotton. but they can be made of any other type of material. such as: with corn leaves or wax. on New Orleans they do it with wooden sticks and they fill it with Spanish moss, cover it with cloth and finish making the details. and it has different uses, it is not only to inflict damage. It can be used to represent a person and help him with health problems for example. or any other kind of problem. You can also fill in with specific things: *personal "objects". *or some "herbs". and put more details if you wish.
