Okay so a lot of MAGA voters are regretting their vote and my first thought was definitely “lmao get fucked, live with it like the marginalized groups you’ve forced this hell upon” but my second thought was that if us folks on the left decide to shun these people who’ve left MAGA we’re setting the precedent that there’s no point in deciding to change for the better and they should just stay with the nazis because they’ll be ostracized either way. The best time to stop supporting a fascist is before you do so in the first place but the second best time is now. It does truly take real strength to admit you’ve fucked up so incredibly badly as to help elect a nazi. It’s okay to be angry at the people who are somehow only now realizing trump won’t help them, and you don’t have to be friends with someone who did that, but as a collective let’s not turn them back to the nazis.
