My version of a modern day aphrodite The Greek goddess of love also my favorite goddess

Hestia is the ancient Greek goddess of home and hearth🔥 and here are some simple offerings for her:

• Olive oil 🫒 A traditional ancient Greek offering for protection, peace, and nourishment.

• Honey 🍯 Represents sweetness and the warmth of the hearth.

• Bread 🍞 Freshly baked or simple loaves as a symbol of sustenance.

• Wine 🍷 A small libation of red or white wine, symbolizing celebration and hospitality.

• Candles 🕯️ To honour her as the goddess of the hearth flame.

• Flowers 💐 Fresh flowers or faux flowers for simplicity and calm.

• Cooked meals 🍲 A portion of home-cooked food, especially soups or stews, as a gesture of hospitality.

• Incense 🪔 Frankincense, myrrh, copal, or sandalwood for purification and devotion.

• Simple tea 🫖 Herbal teas like chamomile or peppermint, representing warmth and welcome.

• Homemade crafts 🧶 Knitted or sewn items, representing the domestic arts.

• Grains 🌾 Barley, oats, or rice, offered raw or as part of a meal.

• Clay or pottery 🏺Small handmade items symbolizing the home and stability.

• Clean, well-kept spaces 🧹 Tidying and maintaining a clean altar or hearth area in her honour.

• Warm drinks ☕️ Coffee or hot chocolate, especially during colder months, symbolizing warmth and comfort.

I’m about to say it; Roman/Greek mythology is overrated. Return to Egyptian Mythology.

Everyone being super horny on main for a bunch of gods and goddesses who were gay and shit. Big whoop. Lots of gods from a bunch of mythos were gay.

Apollo being a twink and being gay for Icarus? Heard it. I don’t care anymore.

Give me the wacky hijinks of Seth and Osiris’ brotherhood that led to Seth fuckin’ murking his megamind-looking-ass brother at his own birthday party. I want a shit-faced Hathor at a party singing bad songs because she thought they were serving blood but it was actually wine.

Eos was the Greek goddess of the dawn, who rose each day from the east to disperse the mists of night with her light rays. She signaled the coming of Helios, her brother, to gods and mortals alike, and accompanied him on his path across the sky.

Mythology frequently represents her as abducting attractive youths - stealing them away to ravish in a distant land. Some say this is because Aphrodite cursed her with an unquenchable desire after learning that the goddess had slept with Ares.
