Queen Maeve - Blog Posts

I keep thinking of Maeve and how she's treated during the show when it comes to her sexuality. Like she's OBVIOUSLY bisexual, from her relationship with Homelander AND the fact she lets Butcher eat her out and then they fuck like. She's very much a bisexual woman

Yet every time I see things abt her in the show and sometimes in the fandom it's like "she's a lesbian!!!!" and it's like on one hand yes let's go lesbians but on the other hand I just wanna scream that she's bi and just w another woman Currently

Resident Evil and The Boys crossover? Sounds good.

(I think Ethan doesn't exist in this universe, only Chris/Mia 🥲)

So Is anyone else a little worried about this?

Not even a few minutes of screentime and we are already seeing some extremely startling similarities between Homelander and Soldier boy

So Is Anyone Else A Little Worried About This?

Lasering the person you loved/though you loved after finding out they had lied to you, Homelander with Madelyn and now SB with countess.

So Is Anyone Else A Little Worried About This?
So Is Anyone Else A Little Worried About This?

Both of these scenes in the exact same episode.

Either way, I'm very terrified about the implications and possibility that Butcher just released Homelander 1.0.

My Prerogative 2

4 weeks passed supposed off the accident happened. It was downtown New York, a few blocks away from your apartment. The Police and reinforcement and newscasters were there trying to find evidence of the massacre of human organs scattered in the alleyway.

'DAILY NEWS A BRUTAL MURDER HAPPENED IN DOWNTOWN NEW YORK,' the news headlines read.

It was a brutal scene; some sure came to the scene; it was something. Just to your luck, one theme was Homelander at the scene. It was interesting that a high-standing superhero was at the scene of the low massacre.

"She really gave us a show," he murmured with a little smile, his hand behind his back.

My Prerogative 2

'VOUGHT' read from the building standpoint, home of the wonderous superhero as the seven. It must be pretty good working alongside superheroes; it must be a dream come true.

It really wasn't. But hey, you would do anything for the hefty paycheck that came into the mailbox, paying your bills. You scanned your id badge on your lanyard and walked into the bright building, holding your bag with you as you came to the elevator. Today was better than the week you had, especially with your crappy boss.

'DING' the elevator stops on the floor you're on as you entered in.

You felt better about today; you got a full night of rest, and you even got the time to make some coffee for yourself. Today was your day, bathing couldn't ruin it, you thought to yourself.

Pressing the floor buttons on the elevator panel onto the 68th floor, the elevator music pinning into the elevator; you stand on the side of the elevator until you hear some yelling.

"Wait! Hold the elevator!" a feminine voice ranged; you immediately press the opening elevator button, letting the women in before the elevator door was closed.

"Thank you so much!" she pants; she was holding a bunch of paperwork in her hands. "Busy schedule?" you respond, motioning to the paper she was holding.

"Uh, yes..mhm!" she responded as she look down, looking at her shoes.

"So, what department are you in" you place your hand on your hip as you stare at the shorter woman.

"Office management."

"PR"

After that, the silence was comfortable, more settling than what happened between and homelander.

"Oh, shit, could you press floor 38, please!"

"Sure thing" you pressed the floor on the elevator panel, and after that, some more silence settled in it wasn't awkward but better.

'Ding!" the elevator stopped at her station, and she stepped out, "Well, it was nice to meet you; oh wait," she stepped back before the elevator should close, "what's your name?"

"Y/N"

"Eliza, bye!" she waved as she ran to her office station; the elevator door closing as you only saw her brown hair in the wind.

It was refreshing to see a Vought employee not being a bitch to you, but I think today even improved for you, especially.

'Ding,' the elevator doors open, and you step out, walking to your office cubic with a bit of pep.

You didn't have to contact any stupid heroes, especially homelander. No whining, nothing from your boss; you opened the door to your office and sat down.

A big smile spreads across your face; nothing could go wrong or turn your body to face your computer.

Until your office door opened, the clanking of heels could be sounded in the silent office, gaining the attention of other people. It was a red-headed woman coming near you, holding a couple of folders in her hands.

You immediately turn your body away, hiding your face away from her, but it was completely useless. "Miss Y/N, isn't it right?"

You turned your body to her, "Yes, what do you need?"

"Straight to the point, I love it. My name is Ashley, and I want to give you a promotion of a lifetime! courtesy of Vought; if you can follow me to discuss further, that would be nice". She said.

"Sure.." you got up from your seat and followed her. You were an isolated space away from anyone, "Okay, so Y/N, this a wonderful opportunity for you. It's not a lie that you're a super, right?" She started, your eyebrows furrowed when she said 'supe.'

"What do you mean.." you respond to her accusation.

"Aren't you a supe, right? Well, we wanted you to tell us that you can become a professional supe, save people and be an inspiration to everyone, and also have a seat with the seven"

"What happened to transculent?

"Well, it's something I can't explain to you, especially, but..." she turned her head, "Would be a better step up than to work in a small office cubic.."

"How do you know?"

You immediately flipped her body and slammed her into the wall, grabbing her neck.

"How the fuck you know, Ashley. I'll snap your throat in half right now.."

She grasped your hand on your throat, and she slowly struggled against your strength. the clasp of boots echoed in the hallway, and a faint sight of an American flag was in your peripheral vision.

"Dammit" you took your hands off her throat. As Ashley rubbed her neck, with the faint grasp of your hand, the red mark was still on her skin.

You stepped away from her, as you stared at Homelander emerged from the shadows literally..

"You know, Y/N, that was a good stunt you pulled off earlier.." he said.

You furrowed your eyebrows as you looked at him. You bit your lips, "What the fuck do you want!" you barked at him.

"I guess Ashley didn't tell you yet, Join the Seven," he responded with a small smile. "Im not good at math, but isn't there supposed to be 7 people, not 8" you respond.

Ashley was still on the floor, as she looked between you and the homelander. Her face was still expressed a bit of fear as you were yelling at homelander.

"Well, transculent missing, so you would still have a chance to be in there besides your power, and the seven would be better than what that cheap semitransparent cocksucker has.."

"Well, there's no way that happening" Take a step back, in case you had to run.

"Oh, sweetie, even you know that running is useless.." he looked at you.

You back up away from him, as you took a deep breath, and broke into a sprint, even though you were warned, you didn't listen.

The last thing you heard was some murmuring from the homelander.

Running into some Vought employees as you pushed some away, damn, who knew this building was so big, it was even hard with your heel pinching your feet.

You were stumbling as you tried to push some of the employees away from you. You saw a brief look of another super, 'Wait, was that..queen Maeve" you thought,

Before you notice it is too late, the last thing you saw was black, as you feel your body thrown over something like a ragdoll.

Today wasn't a good one, especially for you.

My Prerogative

Another day at Vought INC, you were sitting in your office writing up a storm in a document. You worked in the PR team for Vought superheroes.

Today was an especially hard day.

First, wake up late because of your alarm clock, then your phone is not even fucking charging.

Then if that wasn't good enough, being late to the train and then walking to work in heels that were 30 mins away. Then coming back to this hellhole for your boss to give you a horrible time at work.

As you were here fucking slaving away on your computer, your thought running around your head, it was hard to come with the concept for that experiment that you call heroes.

Not that you had any aggression with any of the superheroes except with The deep, translucent, and demon you call America's golden boy, Homelander. As you were typing on your computer in your small office, your boss walked up to you, clicking her heels annoying; not like you had an anger issue, but when you saw her, everything in your body rang anger.

"Y/N, your last idea was interesting, needless to say. I don't think that having Queen Maeve and Starlight helping out, survivors of Cyclone Idai, wouldn't be a good pitch. Think, Feminism, think two women showing the world that women can do anything." she slams the paper you worked hard on onto your desk, tapping down on the paper.

"What do you mean?" you responded to her interesting comments.

"What I said, a feminist is the topic" she exaggerate her hands and clasped her hand.

"Sure," your eyes twitched as you picked up the paper she placed on the desk.

As she walked out of your office, she yelled out, "-And make sure it is good this time!" the final comment made you crush the paper in your hand and throw it on the wall.

"What the hell does feminism do with superheroes" you mumbled yourself. Swiping a piece of your hair to the side of your ears, moving closer to the computer, and thinking about some ideas. Needless you say, you were fricking annoyed by the comments your boss said.

Bite at your lip, till it drew some blood. It was getting tiring, trying to live a normal life, was tiring, you thought of your choices when you were 12 between staying in the lab or escaping, but you glad that you are able to escape that hellhole than being monitored for 24 hrs, and ending to be doll being on display.

But ironic that you landed a job at the same brand you escaped. You wanted a breather from being locked up in your small office; besides that, your break was coming in, standing up and stretching your neck and your body. Walking out of your office, going to the elevator.

As you were walking down, getting pushed by two dickhead of Vought employees, they responded by saying to watch where you were walking.

The disrespect you were getting from this company was crazy. While you enter the elevator, pressing the 25th floor, where the company Starbucks was, you need some Caffeine to boost your mood and energy, even though Dunkin Donuts was better than the overpriced coffee store.

Standing the side of the elevator lending to the walls, as you scrolled on your phone while the elevator was going down. the elevator music chiming in.

Your eyes was still laid on your phone, you didn't notice the person that came into the elevator, not taking your eyes on off, until your eyes look at the familiar cape, it was red, white and blue.

Making quick eye contact with the person you dread meeting on top of that, Homelander.

But out of all the elevators in the building, why the heck would he take the elevator taken by lowly Vought employees? Getting off the wall, straightening yourself up.

He walked in with his hand behind his back.

The music chimed in and played through; your body was tense by his immediate presence, and the elevator door closed.

You wished that the elevator would go faster as you stared at the floor indicator with the lowering numbers of the floor going down. You should help it, but your heart was pumping out of your chest.

"So, I heard you got a promotion, Y/N." the comment he said caught you off guard, 'The Fuck' and you just stared at him.

Besides the point, he said that, your promotion was literally 6 months ago.

"Quiet, aren't we?" he looked you in the eye, and you soon pulled away.

"Thank you, Sir," you responded, not bothering to correct him. Now you were begging that time would go faster, biting down on your lip.

The elevator so coming down to the 25th floor, and he soon slapped his arm on the control panel breaking it and catching himself off caught.

Faster than you can even react, he grabbed your neck, pinning you to the elevator wall, leaving you shocked to even react.

An ominous chuckle erupted from him, "You honestly got everyone else fooled, but not me at all, Y/N."

You were scared for your life inside that elevator, there nobody here, and there was no one to hear you scream at all. "W-what, do you mean" you stared at him, your legs were trembling.

"Your not normal at all, you're more than having a lowly lifestyle. You are a god like me" he grabs your face and squishes it.

You help but stare at him; you have a hard time responding to him; even if you tried doing something, your chances of being slayed by him would be high.

"What?" the word slipped out of your mouth, you were wondering how he know, but I guess you can't hide anything from Homelander; if you were to lie, you would probably just die right there.

"Don't fuck with me, Y/N." he barked at you, his hand breaking inside the elevator wall. Your eyes felt wet, and tears were escaping you. Your lips were trembling.

"Don't fucking turn soft on me now." He yelled at you, "Just admit it, don't lie to me."

"O-okay, I am one" you mumbled, he released his grip on you and pressed the button on the elevator panel, as he stood away from you in his original spot.

You fell down on the floor, breathing heavily, as you put your face in your hand.

The elevator door opened, "Cut that crying crap up; it not working on me at all," he mumbled as he exited the elevator, with his hand behind his back in a military position.

The feeling of getting to Starbucks left your mind; the only thing you could hear in the elevator was music as the elevator closed; you just wanted to get out of this building.

My Prerogative

Walking out of the tall building, it was accordingly 8:45 pm when you exited the building. Unfornutaly for you, your day was only getting worse; it started raining on you, soon drenching your body in water.

'Just my day..' you mumbled out

A terrific day for you since it was just sunny outside, and you didn't bother to bring one of your jackets with you, but that's just New York weather. Grabbing your bag and using it as a protection shield for your head, you ran to the train station to catch it from its left.

Entering the station, your body was drenched in water head to toe; as the sound of your soaking wet clothes made a 'plop' sound, you moved to the scanner, swiping your MetroCard into it. The gate opening allows you to enter the waiting area of the train.

The screeching sound of the train came halting at the station. The door opened, allowing the people inside to get out; you grabbed your stuff and entered as you sat down, waiting for your stop.

30 MINUTES LATER

Lucky for you, the rain wasn't as bad when you exited work. You were walking to your apartment complex; your clothes were less drenched than before but still had some moister.

It got way darker than before; you were walking down the street. You live a little far away from the Vought building, and you usually take some shortcuts to make your journey less. As you looked in the alleyway, you dismissed the idea from your mind, the time for using a shortcut was way too risky.

"HEY, LADY!" a masculine voice yelled, ringing in your ears.

"Just my luck," you muttered as you turned to the voice. "Give me all your money," the mysterious man said, holding a pocket knife and wearing all black.

"No," you responded to him.

"Do you want to die right now? Just give me your fucking purse, or I'll stab you in the fucking neck," he yelled, walking towards you.

"Maybe, but do you know what is even better than money" you walked towards the mysterious figure, throwing your bag onto the floor.

"Your life," you made a gun sign with one of your men and pointed towards him "bang" soon, the man's chest, stomach, and abdomen area were blasted off and sprayed on the wall. His head had a confused expression, and as his head landed on the floor, his legs fell down as well. It was a pure, clean cut; his organ was destroyed by the blast, and the red liquid was everywhere on the street.

His blood was sprayed on some of your clothes as you grabbed your bag from the dirty floor and walked away from the massacre of the man's body.

You didn't know it, but someone was following you as he popped out from his invisible trick. Translucent face had a scared expression etched on it as he looked at the gory display on the floor. The mysterious man's blood trickled down the street to the road.

"What the hell" he covered his mouth at the killing. Pulling out his mouth, testing the head of the seven, a message saying, "It 's the real deal."

One sided Homelander x Alien Reader

So my last post got some attention and I was a little unsatisfied with the lack of dialogue so I wanted to fix that. Here's part 2.

On the edge of a balcony stood a young girl with partially dyed hair. Her nose is pointy, her eyes brown, and her skin was quite clear. She kept looking over the balcony, maybe contemplating something. Who knew what she was thinking or what she was gonna do.

You carefully landed a meter behind her, your hair falling down on your face before braiding itself into a single ponytail. The up do one.

"Yo!" the girl turned around to see you. "Chelsea, is it?"

"Don't come any closer." she warned.

"Okay." You obeyed, observing her. You sensed uncertainty, a little bit of annoyance- impatience. You started tapping your foot, waiting for her to do or say something, even though you just arrived. You honestly couldn't help yourself.

"You're gonna jump aren't you? Why is it taking so long?" you said innocently.

"Huh?"

She was startled. You mentally kicked your own curiousness, face palmed feeling embarrassed.

"Sorry, it's just that you seem hesitant. People who commit suicide don't hold back, and they carry a heavy feeling in their hearts, from what I remember anyway. Besides, what is your afterlife like? Humans have a lot of rules to follow in life and I'm pretty sure killing yourself means instant damnation."

"I'm Jewish."

"Oh, then you're lucky that Stormfront's still missing." you unconsciously licked your lips.

Chelsea noticed something and looked down, only to find her vision turned around but still facing you.

"What the fu- oh my god!" she screamed, trying her best to find her ankle which had your hair wrapped around it. "Put me down! Put me down!"

"You don't seem the least bit distraught." you said, ignoring her sudden fear. Your hair brought her closer to you, lifting her up above the ground so that you could have a better look at her face. In response she only stared into your eyes with panic while screaming in terror. "I guess that's a good thing." you say to yourself.

"Please put me down!"

"I will, my direct orders were to fly you down to safety. I would leave you up here but the more I think about it there is a chance you'll actually follow through with your original objective."

Your hair let go of Chelsea, and she fell into your arms. Had you let her drop onto the ground her neck would've cracked. Your hair started moving in a helicopter motion. (This is probably the only reason I gave her this ability)

One Sided Homelander X Alien Reader

You landed on the ground with a little stumble that was harsher than usual due to the extra weight, and your hair didn't feel like using multiple ponytails.

Cameras zoomed towards you, people were cheering you, only some of them checking on Chelsea. You spotted Ashley who appeared very content and happy, the kind where she accomplished something.

"Are we making a film? Is this a documentary?" you asked her, feigning stupidity.

"Something like that. Gosh you looked so amazing coming down- blah blah blah."

You listened to her babble, preparing yourself for whatever request they had next for you.

-

You walked through Vought with nothing much on your mind other than finding Starlight. You occasionally waved to the workers who did their usual shift or at least tried to, you were holding a smoothie in both hands.

"Hey [Name], congratulations on saving Chelsea."

Your hair immediately went on attack mode, the tip pointing at Homelander's neck as if ready to cut him.

"Sorry about that, it seems to have a mind of its own. I would pull it off but my hands are full." you showed him the smoothies.

He gently took the smoothies from you, and you petted the braid attached to your scalp. "What's wrong? There's nothing to be angry about, calm down." you cooed at it softly in you mother tongue.

From the corner of your eye Homelander subtly rolled his own eyes. "Whose drinks are these?"

You smiled brightly at him, "One is for me, the other is Starlight's."

Something in his eyes darkened. "Ah, Starlight." he mused.

"Aye. She's so pretty that I want to spoil her as much as I can. And she's so brilliant and smart, she's an icon to all the girls who need someone to look up to."

"Right." he took a sip from one of them

"Hey." You snatched it from him. "You didn't even ask if you could try it, and it's not a milkshake." you inspected the cup, trying to guess how much he drank.

"Why didn't you ask me? Do you want milk? I can get you one."

His expression altered from your sudden kindness and you sensed triumph, "Yes, milk will be nice. Let's get it together."

"Okay. We can do that later." you took the other drink from him. "By the way, aren't you supposed to be playing... what is it called? Kissy face with Stormfront?"

You sensed discomfort, "She's still missing."

"Aye, I forgot about that." you took a sip of your drink. "I'm off, see you."

Me to your alien reader fic

Me to your alien reader fic

Yes, that is what I was going for but I'm unfortunately too soft and I rushed everything, eager to share it on this website. I mean she's an alien for crying out loud, it's alright to make them naive but I want a gruesome sense of curiosity. I wanted her to not make sense, and at times be contradictory. I took some notes from Neferpitou's character when writing the reader.

Getting back on track, when she killed Stormfront she took the chance to let her urges get the best of her. The need to put anything that moves in your mouth and see if it's edible like a matchstick.

Reader herself is not a human but a creature so I wanted to treat her like one. She's unearthly, an unending mystery that has a whole bunch of stories the more you cut her open. She can live up to 1000s if not 100s of years, we do not know how long she's been a baby among those years. A lot of people don't realise she is a child yet get surprised when she does many mature things as if a part of them knows. She's so young yet so old.

She has the desire to make as many people happy as she can but will welcome any disadvantages. She doesn't mean any harm, but will switch between holding back and using her natural instincts if she finds it fitting for the situation. She needs to be overpowered but in a way where only another unearthly thing can counter it. She's willing to turn into a monster for the people she loves and will grow to care about (Starlight, Kimiko, ect.).

I'm into the whole sweet, innocent reader having a terrifying side. And by terrifying, I mean Adult Gon levels of terrifying, especially if the reader is a monster or mythical being of some kind.

Me To Your Alien Reader Fic

It's something I rarely come across and I wrote that simply for the sake of feeding my own desire.

Me To Your Alien Reader Fic

Hope you enjoyed it though, any other thoughts you would like to share?

One-sided Homelander x Alien reader

So this was based on a story written by @operation-619, while it was cool to read I was a little disappointed. Not at the story itself but kind of at the character/reader that she wrote out. This isn't to say what she wrote was terrible but... I honestly wanted more of something. I suggest you read that story though, it's Homelander x reader if my memory is correct. It is a recent post if my memory is correct so it shouldn't be hard to find. To be fair, my story isn't so good I just wanted a chaotic reader I guess.

If anyone's wondering I took inspiration from JJBA, HxH, and Invincible. Apologies about the lack of dialogue and the amount of description and expedition. It was just things I was looking forward to seeing in the story. No, the reader doesn't have the same powers as Homelander... well she can't fly, I thought the scenario of reader having the exact same powers would be boring.

I was thinking of a black reader but then I wondered about readers who aren't black and just put foreign reader.

When you came down to Earth you weren't really sure what to expect other than the stories that were given by your elders, passed down to generations whether you were a student, a neighbour, or a family member. The humans were not animals so you couldn't contemplate eating anyone.

It was easy to adapt, quickly learning languages just by hearing a few sentences, growing accustomed to the environment. You received strange looks, specifically being stared at every 5 minutes. (Think 80s Chisato Moritaka).

The technology was different, used in a way that you weren't familiar with. The clothes were kind of similar, but the materials were easy to tear apart so you stuck to your own clothes. Your spaceship was surprisingly hard to hide, it was easy to access since you accidentally disabled the lock. You didn't ask your parents for help out of fear of them giving you an earful about being irresponsible.

Everyone you came across was like an ant, the supes were spiders. The funny thing about ants is that you have to scrape them to kill them properly, many underestimate how strong they are. Simply stepping on them isn't enough, and yet you find yourself saving them. So often that you were being recorded, the kids that lived near flung to you, asking all sorts of questions. Taking pictures where you flexed your muscles at the camera. While they were not sure whether or not they should take you seriously whenever you spoke about your planet and wore your strange clothes, it felt good to be around these humans.

On your planet you are a mere child with centuries to learn. Having a desire to impress your parents, entering competitions to show how capable you are. But you were young and very easy to take down, so you spend most of your teenage-hood exploring different planets.

Everyone on your planet has the same trait: Speed, strength, and then one ability that defines you from everyone else. For you it was your hair, it seemed to have a mind of its own at times. It would be short one second and then overwhelmingly long the next. If you braided it then it would become snake-like. Your hair was strong enough to break buildings and there were a lot of occasions where you used it to fly. You mastered the art of learning how to detangle each strand so you never worried about getting them stuck.

One-sided Homelander X Alien Reader

You and your people were powerful, and still found the need to improve themselves, however. Testing each other's might, and fighting was simply a game. Evil was rare, an action that happened but wasn't so recent. Bruises weren't new and they would go away before you knew it. But it wasn't the same for these humans.

There was so much otherness. The bad kind. Robberies, murders and the like, it was almost vomit worthy but you stayed. Curious to see what else you would find on this problematic planet.

That's when Vought approached you, introducing you to the 7. They told you how "superheroes should stick together", and how "you will fit so well here". Your costume, while perplexing to some was everything to you. You remembered when you were at the fitting and threw a tantrum at the bikini the costume department prepared for you. If your mother ever caught wind of you in such a thing you wouldn't be allowed to travel to any planet ever again, so you stuck to your battle suit. (minus the jewellery)

One-sided Homelander X Alien Reader

Since then you were given the name Mighty Ase (pronounced ah-she), an old Norse name meaning 'god-like' or 'goddess'. Everyone knew your real name thanks to the teenagers that took pictures with you so you didn't understand the whole alias thing. Why were the 7 ashamed of letting people know who they were yet were okay with everyone knowing their face? Again, another Earth concept you didn't understand but would in time.

Overall, you completed tasks to save people, stop crime and protect the good side of humanity. You would visit children, be a mascot at charities, and you never had a problem with anyone. Everyone was happy. It was exciting... sort of.

A-Train: Fast but you knew your sister was much faster. Speed was nothing new and you genuinely wondered why that was anything special. The way he handled people reminded you of that time you accidentally killed a poor dog while petting it, the difference is that he wasn't so caring.

Starlight: Good as she is beautiful. Her presence was mostly honest and you couldn't help but admire her kindness and passion to do the right things. You didn't sense anything off about her, when she was upset then you were upset, knowing it was for the right reasons. She only told you why sometimes but whatever battle she was fighting wasn't for you to get involved in. You were still new and she didn't want to scare you or put you on edge just yet.

Queen Maeve: Older women in general set you on edge so you avoided talking to her. She was alright, but if you were bullet proof then so was everyone on your planet. She also gave you off vibes.

Deep Sea: Could he really talk to fish? You had the appetite for jellyfish and wondered if he could snag you some but he would never be up for it. It was safe to say that he didn't like you.

Black Noir: Quiet. Boring. You've seen children with better stealth.

Stormfront: You sensed dislike. A strong dislike that was almost unimaginable. Hate? Is that what that is? But why? You didn't do anything to her, but it was safe to say the feeling was mutual. If things got worse you could always consider eating her and being done with it. Besides that, a little lightning never hurt. You recall being struck a few times in your younger days, your father's training.

Homelander: In human years he was old enough to be your father's age. While his laser beams were impressive he used it too often, and even you knew such laziness was not to be tolerated. You remembered when the school bully lasered your arm, it took 2 months to heal. After 10 decades they weren't as effective and you grew strong enough to catch those lasers. How bothersome to be reminded of her of all people. When you met Homelander there may have been two things you did wrong. Since he was a supe you believed you didn't have to hold back when you both shook hands, you greeted him as you would anyone else. There was something wrong with this, yet he was super nice to you, and you guessed that it had to do with the fact that he must've known you were a teenager. Babying you and offering to take you to places, which you did enjoy most of the time but also dismissed to do other things. You sensed tension between him and Starlight though, so you kept your distance.

Homelander would find any way to grow close to you. To impress you. You pretended not to mind him but the way he handled things is similar to that of a sloppy child that tried to assure everyone that it knew what it was doing. The way he held himself was like an actor playing a character for the screen. Even his smile was strange. Perhaps you were so used to honesty that you couldn't calculate if someone was lying.

Not to slander them but there was something wrong that you weren't getting. Things were not adding up, and finally you went on the internet. You decided to use the primitive phones to do something other than calling for once. Once you gathered everything you confronted Starlight, that's when she told you everything.

You were oblivious. Vought took extra precautions to make sure you didn't discover the facade. You didn't watch the news and it was clear that they used that to their advantage. You were a great asset, if anything potentially happened to Homelander then you would replace him. You were great with people, were nice to the employees, and you never bothered anyone or made things hard.

Except you did.

You knelt down to the body of Stormfront, your fellow 7. Formerly. You licked the blood off your bloody hands and spat it out, taking a careful inspection at your sharp nails that grew from the bloodlust. From your peripheral vision you could make out Kimiko approaching you hesitantly.

You ignored her, your hair poking at the body. You strangely didn't feel sad, you were glad. You felt justice- no, it felt like a justifiable thing to do. This is how it's done on your home planet. Take the trouble maker, then exterminate.

"Sorry for intruding. Kimiko, was it?" you said, standing up straight and holding your hand out to her. "I heard you were a friend of Annie, I was wondering if I could help. Don't worry about the damage, my people will have it sorted out."

You'll also sort out Vought.

A little thing I noticed while reading

Valentine says in his diary that:

A Little Thing I Noticed While Reading

Now, using the origin of his first name, which is an Irish (Gaeilge) name meaning “little dark one.” Looking at the fact his name is Irish, and (given his age) he would have been born c. 410 (c. 23 years before St Patrick started his conversion), we can relate him to the Ulster Cycle with little issue.

I doubt the Monster High team dug this deep, but Kieran’s line can be seen as a parallel (or just a reference to) to a feature of the warrior queen, Mebh of Connacht. She is called a sexual goddess and her name means “entrancing” or “she who intoxicates.”

It is said that Mebh could only be satisfied in bed by 7 men, or Fergus mac RĂłich (another character) once. Garrett Sander said that Kieran would be able to thrive off of true love, which is where Spelldon comes in.

A Little Thing I Noticed While Reading

We can compare that to the line above by saying the 2000+ women he’s charmed (yes I did the math) couldn’t satisfy his needs as an emotional vampire, but Spelldon could once.

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
